The technicians that were at our home to install the generator were very efficient. They also provided me with education on the generator once they completed the installation. We purchased a whole house backup generator from Monyer in January 2024. Dealing with Nate on the quote & detais was very professional. The install happened over the course of two days; there was a delay in their arrival on the first day, but that was understandable given that a big rainstorm had happened the previous day and many roads were closed. I had to meet them and get them to my house with back roads that luckily were open. The installation team completed the job mostly as expected. A part was not available and had to be installed at a later time, but that went flawlessly.About two months ago the generator reported an error. I was able to schedule a maintenance service with Monyer, though it was delayed as they were short-staffed. In spite of this, the technician arrived two weeks earlier than scheduled, much to my delight. His testing indicated a regulator needed to be replaced. Though it took some time, the office staff was able to accommodate my scheduling needs, and the part was installed yesterday under warranty.Much to my surprise, the generator has actually kicked on several times throughout the spring & summer following storms which caused power outages. In all cases the turnon & turnoff worked perfectly, and we actually had power when some of our neighbors did not. This left us wondering what had taken us so long to get such a generator installed.I would recommend Monyer for your backup generator needs.

Monyer Electric installed our new whole house generator in a highly professional manner. From site location, sizing, scheduling and installation the entire process was handled in a professional manner. In particular, the installation crew with whom I had the most face to face interaction was very respectful about minimizing the construction impacts to the house and our presence as well as answering any questions I had. Would I use Monyer Electric again? Yes - this is the second time Ive used them for a generator installation.

I solicited four bids for a whole-house generator. One contractor did not respond, another offered a proposal that was incomplete, and a third proposed a solution nearly 40% more costly than the others.Monyer stood out in every respect. Their bid was detailed, their cost was in line with what I expected, and they demonstrated great flexibility when I asked for a shift from propane to natural gas to power the generator. Every time I had a question, I got a prompt, accurate, and informative answer. Everyone from the owner to the back office to the on-site work crew was prompt, responsive, professional, cordial, and helpful. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I strongly recommend Monyer to anyone needing a whole-house generator or other electrical work.

Couldn’t be happier with the Team at Monyer Electric. Back in September 2020, we met with David Pogue (Sales) to order a new Generac generator. The sales process was relaxed, David is obviously very knowledgeable and he tailored a solution to meet our needs. Monyer were also the most competitive quote we received amongst the four Firms we approached. Whilst the delivery of the generator was delayed by ~6 months due to COVID-19 related issues, the Team at Monyer kept us updated throughout the process – thank you to Brittney and Catherine in particular for the regular updates. When the time came to install the generator, Paul, Dan and Team did an outstanding job. They were efficient, friendly and great communicators throughout the installation process. Thank you again to the Team at Monyer – we won’t hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

Whole House Generator installed. Professional, Courteous and transparent organization. Recommend this company for Generator Installation for reliable and trustworthy service. If you are shopping for a Generator the most important aspect of the job is the installer. After this unit was installed there was a bad part from the factory that the Electrician from Monyer found. After dealing with his office and Generac, generac initially was going to replace the part. The team at Monyer realized this is a new unit and the customer deserves to have a new unit, and they convinced the factory to ship a new unit to replace the unit not working. When you purchase a large appliance such as this, you only deal with the installer never the manufacturer. Dependability and reliability of your installer is key....choose wisely. Monyer was my best decision I made. Will highly recommend them to anyone for electrical work.

I would like to give my highest recommendation to Monyer Electric and David Pogue. We had a Generac whole house generator installed about one year ago, and it has been flawless. The peace of mind during the winter (and for storms the rest of the year as well) was just what we wanted.We interviewed several companies, and selected Monyer because of David. He has an honest, direct manner, impressive technical knowledge, and he provides the highest level of customer service. David promised that he would be personally responsible for every aspect of the installation, including taking ownership of working with the propane company. (David put us in touch with Ray Nester at Eastern Propane, who answered all of our questions and helped us to select a 1000-gallon underground owned tank as the best solution for us.) It was excellent to have one person who made sure everything happened as promised.David was there to make sure the installation was perfect. He answered every question we had for him right away. David says that if we need service or have any problems at all, he will respond, and I believe him. He asked us to wait a little while for an updated generator model, and it has been great—I can monitor the activity and status using an app on my phone. We really appreciate how David values us--he made sure we had the best possible experience at every step and we highly recommend him and Monyer Electric.

We have had our full house generator for 6 months now. We have only had to use it once but after using a smaller unit that required dragging it out of the basement, adding gas and then starting it, I can honestly say we are in 7th heaven! They did a great job of installing the unit; they took care of all the permits, contacting our propane company and getting a new propane tank set up, running the necessary electric lines and finally, cleaning up the site. And they did this all in two days. We are extremely pleased and we no longer dread a power outage. I would recommend Monyer Electric to everyone who wants peace of mind during inclement weather.

Monyer Electric is, in my opinion, the go to Generac dealer for buying whole house generators.Fifteen years ago, I installed a Generac 16 KW whole house generator. When the time came to replace my old Generac generator, I did extensive research. This included talking to representatives, and reading reviews for various companies that installed Generac. Monyer Electric stood out among them for expertise, customer interaction and cost. Their bid was four thousand under another Generac dealer from my area.The total Monyer Electric organization is outstanding, from the office personnel, Dave who does the initial site visit to your home, and all the technicians that did the installation.The technicians uninstalled my old generator quickly and efficiently. They also hauled away my old Generac. I really appreciated that, because that unit weighs in at 480 pounds.I was present during the new generator installation, and all the technicians were technically excellent and professional. They answered all of my questions, they discussed the installation as the process moved forward. The discussed my specific requirements, and insured they were met. The installation looks fantastic. Coincidentally, we lost power 3 times the day after the generator was installed, and it worked seamlessly.I also plan to use Monyer for maintenance.Finally, all of the technicians were dog friendly. We have a very large dog that is well trained and friendly, but he can look intimidating. The technicians were friendly with our dog, and interacted well with him.I wholeheartedly recommend Monyer Electric for whole home electric generators.

Its been one year now since Monyer Electric professionally installed a 22KW Generac Generator to power our entire home in the event of a power outage. We have not experienced a major power outage during the first year, but we are ready! Within seconds of a power failure our gener-ator will provide enough power to everything we normally do inside of a day...cook on the electric stove, run the washing machine, run the refrig-erator and power lights in every room if we want! We were cordially re-minded of our annual checkup coming due and we were scheduled the same week after letting David, the inside contact at Monyer know ofour intention. We were pleased to find three (3) levels of maintenance service available...good, better and best, all of which were reasonably priced. Rest assured, we feel comfortable having Monyer Electric maintain our generator, because we know it will be done correctly... the first time, every time.If you are debating whether or not to install a Generac Generator, dontdelay. Give Monyer Electric a call and ask for David. He will take the best care of you and address all of your needs and concerns. When he learned that we will be selling our home this Spring, he attached a copy of the 5 year extended warranty we purchased at the time we purchased ourgenerator. Its transferable to a new owner! Its the strongest selling point of our home, backup power generation, any time its needed.So, I leave you with two thoughts: make it Generac and have it installed by Monyer Electric. Nate Monyer the owner is easy to work with and willextend a highly competitive quote. We shopped around and settled on Monyer and were so glad we did. You will be too!

Love these guys. I had trouble finding a licensed, honest and reasonable electrician- until I called these guys. David, Paul and Alberto are great. We are installing an above ground pool in Manchester (York) Township and the inspectors are picky. Monyer is making sure everything gets done right and the way the inspector wants. They answer all of my questions since I know nothing about electric. They are very helpful, understanding and put me at ease. I know everything will be safe once its all done. Thanks again David :)

Everything was handled efficiently and everyone was very professional. Nate came out to give us the estimate within a few days of my contacting them. Dave is the best! He knew I was working within a budget and offered me several options. He got me the best deal on a 20 kw Generac for the right price! The guys showed up on time did an excellent job and cleaned up everything when they were finished. The guys ran into several problems with setbacks from the house and propane tanks and handled everything with knowledge and ease. I would totally recommend Monyer Electric to everyone I know!
