He checked both the inside air handler including coils, vacuumed out the drain and checked the outside compressor where he checked the Freon to be working properly. Michael, my tech, did a great job. He was on time and did a very thorough job on the scheduled maintenance. My A/C for quite some time had been making a soft but high pitched noise which for most people might not be noticeable, but l have tinnutis and it seemed to aggrevate my condition. After he completed the job I think my A/C is actually running quieter than it did before so lm pretty happy!

Air-Ref recommended the Heat Pump because of the upto $2000 Federal Tax Credit.All new Ductwork, No more air leaks and No more air conditioning in the attic.They added a Ducted Return with returns grilles in all bedrooms, so no more hot, stale bedrooms when doors are shut.EWC, 2 Zone Duct System, with a bypass. With PRO1 WiFi stats. As we use different parts of our house throughout the day, we can keep the areas we are in at the comfort level we prefer with the added benefit that zoning with a bypass delivers, enhanced dehumidification.Air Purification by Ultravation both an Air Cleaner and a 5, MERV 13 Air Filter.Watching my projected FPL bill on my FPL app does not create the stress it once did. Had a very nice experience using Air Ref for the first time this past week. Our AC was not working and we have a unit that takes specialized knowledge to work on. I called at 11:30am and they gave me a 1:30-4:30pm arrival window. They arrived right at 1:30pm, and they quickly and efficiently got the AC working again, all while educating me further about my HVAC system. The tech, Michael, was knowledgeable, personable and professional. Will definitely continue to use Air Ref for our home HVAC system.

Our a/c stopped working 5 pm on a Sunday. I called this company and a technician came out 30 minutes later. He checked everything and all was fine. After 30 minutes the compressor shut off again, we called the company and the technician came back 20 minutes later. This time he was able to see the fan motor was failing and shutting down. He replaced the motor and all is good. He was so kind and really wanted to solve our issue.

This is a great company who has definitely earned the near perfect Google rating! Theyre competitively priced, always professional, good technicians, and reliable.They installed my ac unit and as it has gotten older, Ive had them out to service it several times when Ive had a problems (you know, the annual AC problem that always happens in the summer).I believe they also did some duct work for me to add vents in my bathrooms....gotta appreciate anyone willing to go into a Florida attic in the summer.I had one instance where I had a (I think newer) tech misdiagnose a problem that resulted in the actual problem causing a leak that flooded/ruined my floorboards. (The drain pan was clogged with algae.) While I wasnt happy about this, they did subtract the cost I paid for the misdiagnosis off the total price of the correct repair job.Even though it didnt cover the cost or time it would take to repair the floor, I was very happy they were willing to make it right. This retained me as a customer - few companies are so willing to acknowledge a mistake. In the new techs defense, the drain in the drain pan is unconventionally and inconveniently located in the back. I can understand why someone with less experience might have overlooked this. (Despite the misdiagnosis, I do think he is a good tech. Mistakes happen.)I HIGHLY recommend Air-Ref Co. They are an honest company who will get someone out to repair your AC quickly, even in the summer...and they will not charge you an arm, leg, and first-born child.The folks in the office are also a pleasure to talk with. Knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly - a pleasure to speak with.Thanks for keeping my AC going, Air-Ref team!

My air conditioner stopped working sometime on Saturday. As luck would have it, Saturday was the hottest day of the season up until then. Initially I thought I corrected the problem and scheduled a call for Monday morning. Later that evening, I realized that I still had a problem, so I called back after 6pm and requested they send a technician out as soon as possible. After a couple of calls back and forth, Aaron arrived I think after 9 pm and spent an hour dealing with my issue. He was knowledgeable and more importantly I never felt that he was in a rush considering it was a Saturday night and I was his last call. He stayed until he was confident that the problem was corrected. I almost never write reviews but this company really is fantastic.

The two team members who did the bi annual maintenance were very professional and did a VERY good job. This being said they had NOT reviewed the specific AC installation plans and where all the equipment is installed BEFORE visiting the house OR reviewed the work that was done recently. I strongly suggest to Chris the owner and execs at Air Ref that the team at least have access to this and and review this BEFORE visiting houses to help them . I am fine with showing the team members around so they know where all the equipment is installed. I will gladly elaborate if necessary . I am a happy customer.

My A/C system was 12 years old and 2 yrs out of warranty. I called their office (around 6 PM), got a callback from a real person who dispatched a technician, who arrived within 35 minutes. The technician was very courteous and knowledgeable. The blower motor was shot, as well as the entire fan assy. The technician checked and we had a regular service agreement with them, so ... no emergency callout charge, good discount on the parts and labor, and we had the air back on and running by 7:30 PM. ... Simply amazing experience, I give them 5 stars!

Our sales person Michael came over and spent a good amount of time checking out our old system. He quoted us and gave us our options for Trane ( which was the only options they had available at the time ). We signed up for a 2 ton and 4 ton to replace the old ones. He made a special effort to get our deposit charged to reserve the only 4 ton they had at the time. We were booked 2 days later for installation. We had 2 crews to remove and install the new system. We were very impressed with their professionalism. They answered all our questions and worked diligently all day to finish the installation. After a bad experience with a different company earlier in the day, who recommended a full system replacement, I called Air-Ref at the suggestion of the Trane website. They were able to come out within a few hours. Our technician, Dan, was really outstanding! He quickly diagnosed and found the problem (a refrigerant line that was damaged by roof work on the condo). He was able to patch the leak, and recharge our system, for a very reasonable cost (especially in comparison to a full replacement which would not have fixed the problem anyway). Jason was efficient, knowledgeable, and personable. This company has always struck me as being fair and honest. I highly recommend.Just had a new AC unit installed by Air-Ref. They continue to exceed my expectations. Researched several companies and got a number of quotes. Air-Ref was right in range. David explained my options. He was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I never felt pressured. Once I signed the contract, I had an appointment for installation the following day. The 3 men took about 7 1/2 hours to complete the job. They were professional and pleasant. They worked efficiently and answered any questions I had.They cleaned up well after themselves. Believe me when I say the area looked better after they left then before they arrived. They even saw that I did not have a cover to my attic crawl space and cut a piece of heavy insulation to put in its place. That is above and beyond in my opinion. Another great experience with this company. Will continue to use them for maintenance.
