    Chris and his brother Matt fixed a leak in my second floor shower stall. They explained what they were doing and did a neat job. They also replaced a temperature regulator in a shower. Very reasonable prices and excellent service.

    I had a puddle of water at the base of my hot water heater and because of it’s age and the location of the water, I assumed that it was ready to be replaced. I quickly did some research on hot water heaters and certified plumbers in my area and read positive reviews on Chris Collins Plumbing. I called Chris and told him our issue and placed an order for exactly the hot water heater that I wanted. He arrived a few days later with the hot water heater on his truck and ready to install. Chris was great to talk to and gave me some lead time so I could travel home from work to meet him. He arrived and fully examined our hot water heater and the puddle on the floor next to it. After a full inspection, Chris noticed a tube that was not fully connected on the condenser to our furnace which sat in close proximity to our hot water heater. Chris reconnected the tube without issue and suggested we wait until the morning to see if we had any further water around the hot water heater. Luckily we did not and we had a huge savings from putting in a hot water heater when it wasn’t needed. Undoubtedly there are many who would have installed the hot water heater based on its age without doing the full research that Chris did. Not only did he save us the expense of the hot water heater and installation, he didn’t charge us a service call. Chris is as honest a professional as they come. He is knowledgeable, friendly and fair. Not that I’m looking forward to replacing our hot water heater in the future but it I know I will be going with Chris when we do!

    Like many others we have had the unfortunate experience of having our hot water heater unexpectedly break. I called Chris (after reading very positive reviews on NextDoor) and he called me back within 2 minutes! He let me know they had several other hot water heaters to replace (apparently with everyone at home these older hot water heaters have been breaking down left and right) but that he would swing by that day to check it out. He stopped by a few hours later (calling to let me know when he was on his way which I really appreciated!). Chris had on a mask and practiced social distancing while checking it out and letting me know the issues with it. He explained the process of removing it and installing a new one. When I asked about the more expensive on demand hot water heater option, he was very honest about the facts and situations where it would be more appropriate. I also asked about a larger tank and he let me know the approximate size recommended depending on family size. He did not try to talk me into spending more money than I had to and gave a fair price for the work. He let me know he would arrive on saturday and did so in the morning with one other colleague. They did a great job and did some troubleshooting as well and made sure we had hot water that very day. I am so thankful he came and fixed everything so quickly! He was professional and just an overall nice guy and I would absolutely recommend Chris and would utilize him for any other plumbing concerns we have. Great work! Thank you!

    Chris and Matt replaced a water heater for me. Communication was great regarding cost, arrival time, etc. The quality of the work was excellent. A lot of contactors rush so they can get to the next job, but these guys take their time and get the job done right. I recommend them highly.

    Chris and his brother Matt were amazing. They are appropriately priced and honest in their work. They do what they need to do and don’t overcharge or oversell. I highly recommend these plumbers for any house’s plumbing needs. I needed a garbage disposal replaced and they did the job quickly and effectively.     Ive dealt with Chris a couple times, and both times Chris was extremely responsive and helpful. On one occasion he referred me to a local rooter to solve my issue (he helped me diagnose my issue over the phone, rather than make me wait for the correct resolution). On a 2nd occasion he assisted me with a pretty urgent issue over text (he has been sick for two weeks yet still took the time to assist me at 6PM on a Friday night), and was preparing to send me a tutorial on how to solve the problem. Because of him my problem was solved, and solved quickly.I find Chris to be highly responsive, courteous, and polite. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for a reliable plumber.

    My family and I returned from vacation to find a leaking pipe in our basement. Fortunately, Chris Collins was able to fix it the same day - very much appreciated.     My family has been so fortunate to find Chris and Matt to do all of our plumbing needs. We had them come out for a clogged drain and they took the time and care to do it right and thoroughly. Due to our older pipes and lots of hair, they had to come out a year or two later to do the same thing. Again, same attention to detail and care. They also did a handy and creative repair to our upstairs shower unit making it useable! We hadnt used that shower for FOUR YEARS and they got it completely operational. Theyve done a faucet replacement, shower head replacement, you name it. All perfectly. Chris and Matt are extremely hard working, dedicated and extremely personable. My mother in law had a broken toilet and the problem was solved with no problem. Top notch folks. Delmar is LUCKY to have such professionals in the area.

    I had a leak under my kitchen sink that I thought was a problem with the drain. I called Chris, he got back to me quickly and said it was actually my faucet that needed to be replaced. He finished the job quickly and I had my sink back in working condition within days of calling him. I also appreciated he was quiet while he was there as my 1 year old son was asleep.

    Emailed him in evening and he called back early the next day. i sent a video of the pipe leaking to him and felt this was a sewer line problem. he doesnt do rotorooting but did give me the name of someone local. i really appreciated his honesty and his recommendation for who could do the work..most wont do that. i would use chris in the future if needed. and i used his recommendation and it was a positive experience also.

    We had Chris come out to do a pretty complicated job--a mess left by a contractor who had bilked us out of money and tried to do work he was not capable of doing. He was thoughtful and thorough in his investigations and approached the job with an engineering mind. He solved the problems left by the other guy. He installed an apron tub and tub filler, and hooked up a two sink vanity when there was only one hook up. Every professional who has looked at his work is extremely impressed. Its very neat and tidy work. He is also very polite and communicative. Well definitely call him up again when we get to replacing out corroding galvanized pipes.

    Chris and his brother Matt were amazing to work with. At the start of COVID I took on a full master bath remodel and these two amazing men made it all possible. Chris gave me excellent advice and helped me through the process start to finish. I had jet tub plumbing moved under the subfloor and split for a new free standing tub & vanity (the jet tub was centered under the wall and took up the entire space pictured). Additionally, Chris rerouted shower plumbing for a new, larger model. (the previous shower was a 4x4 surround - the drain was moved and the plumbing for the new shower panel was rerouted) Chris provided excellent, professional service and was incredibly reasonable priced. I highly recommend Chris as a master plumber who know his craft! Without Chris this project couldnt have happened!

    Chris and his brother were great to work with! Chris got back to me quickly, was direct and clear with his estimate, and addressed the issue as soon as he was able. He was responsive, reasonable, kind, and honest. They did quality work, with a quick turnaround, and they didn’t try to oversell or take advantage of my lack of plumbing knowledge. They left the space clean and as they found it, despite having to do some pretty elaborate/messy work. Highly recommend!
