They gave me a reasonable price for installing a generator hookup. At first they ordered the wrong cord to connect the generator to the hookup. When I called to see how they would handle my request, they made it right by not charging me for the extra call and gave me the correct adapter. Also they went through the process of starting generator and connecting to the switch box. Shout out to Chris. Therefore the 5 stars.

Very happy with the quick response and service. Ended up being a small, quick fix. Will post back in a few months when they replace the panel. Overall, fair prices, quick response and very courteous technicians. Oh, I need to shout out to Jim’s daughter who schedules the appointments. Awesome response, follow-up, and concerned about customer satisfaction. Couldn’t be happier.UPDATE: August 2023. The crew came back to replace the 55 year old rusted electrical panel that was tripping due to circuit overload. They showed up on time and did an absolute phenomenal job! It’s November now and none of the circuits have tripped. Yay! Besides that, the cost was fair and reasonable beating other local competitors. If you’re looking for professional and very knowledgeable electricians, Jim’s Electric is the best in town!

We will never use any other electric company again. These people helped us in our time of need by answering an emergency call and sending someone right out to our home. He got us up and running through the weekend until another technician could come Monday morn to change out our whole electrical box. Their technician’s are very knowledgeable and were able to diagnose the exact cause of the fire in our breaker box that eventually tripped our main. The office staff could not have been any nicer and more compassionate. I feel very fortunate to have them as our electricians for any projects or problems we may have in the future. I highly recommend this company. I own a full service real estate brokerage and this company has bent over backwards to repair inspection items required to close. All other local electricians were quoting 7-10 days just to come give me a quote or didnt even respond, but this company moved their schedule around to help me. They fixed my problem with VERY LITTLE notice. They show up on time, are professional, and are reasonably priced. Its rare to find a company that actually cares.

Listen, Im a heart patient and I have type 2 diabetes. My electricity went out, couldnt get any one to check it out. Jim came to my rescue and remedied the situation in less than ;1hour. I would recommend him for ANY problem you are having. He is really a God send to me.

All I can say is Wow! When I arrived to our Pizza Restaurant in the middle of a lightening storm I did not expect to arrive to what I found. A melted wall socket with a stand up freezer and cooling unit attached. We werent sure who to call as we had no real electrician that we use. Sure we have a guy for everything but not electrical. (Now we do!) The socket was melted and black (could have been worse) My husband found J.I.M.S. Electrical LLC in the yellow pages (Im not sure if he meant online or the real yellow pages as he still uses the actual paper books...LOL, seriously he does). JIMS sent out Chris and another gentleman that I did not catch his name. They arrived in literally less than 30 minutes. They fixed everything including the melted plugs! Lickety Split we were back in business! I wasnt sure what our bill would come out to be as you know how these things can rack up a bill. I was pleasantly surprised with the bill and will have their business cards posted everywhere. I have already mentioned them twice on social media where people were asking for assistance after the storm. Due to the value and quick response we will be using JIMS Electric for now on! Thank you for being fair and honest and affordable! Us small business owners need companies like JIMS Electric!

When you accidentally placed your Iphone on top of your car en route to work and this kind person ( while driving) randomly picked up your phone on the side of the street at the corner of Hand in Ormond Beach.I called and she answered, and OMG, thank heavens. I also dont know how she saw it. ( iphone was unharmed, that was also one mighty Otterbox phone case )THANK YOU MELANIE, you are a life saver. What an asset to JIMS electric company. Now, I would go to you if i have ever needed an electrician.

I dont usually do reviews but thought I should leave one based on my experience with this company.I had to change an outdoor breaker panel and I contacted a few electrical companies and I got various responses in terms of pricing, availability, and presentation. I chose Jims Electric and I was extremely satisfied. Jim was very professional and his price was very reasonable. They gave me a date and time to do the job and they very prompt. The workers were very professional and did and excellent job in changing out the breaker box. I kept in touch with the office and they were very responsive and very professional. They kept me in the loop regarding city permits and inspection etc.Again, I am extremely satisfied with dealing with them from start to finish and would definitely use then for any other electrical work that I may have. I strongly recommend this company based on my experience.
