We have had a couple of jobs done by Cates. Both times I have witnessed quality work and received fair pricing. They have good people working for them and truly care about what they do. Pictures are of the most recent generator plug we had installed by Cates.

Called and made an appointment at 8am. They told me they could have someone out to look at the issue between 11am and 2pm. They told me up front what the cost would be to assess the issue and what the minimum charge was. They called me back at 1:50pm and told me the techs were about 10 minutes out. They showed up right at 2! They found the issue in less than 30 minutes and called FPL for us because it was a main line issue. The issues were fixed the same day. Very professional, quick, answered all my questions. Would definitely use them again!

Wow...Found Cates through referral from a neighbor. Totally professional! Did a great job of changing out our service entry point, adding a whole house generator port, adding outlets inside and out and fixed faulty wiring in a 70+ year old home. I highly recommend this contractor!!

We had a bad month trying to find someone to put in a hot water heater and then we hired someone and they did not wire it properly causing a hot wire that was tripping the breaker causing a lot of worry. Cates electric co came to the rescue with a great attitude and fixed it with ease. Thank you so very much and also the gentlemen who came were exceptional and very kind.

Cates Electric gets my highest recommendation. We had an interlock installed with wiring to the patio. Rick was patient with my questions, professional and extremely helpful. Josh and his assistant arrived on time. The work was completed as promised. I’ll use Cates again and recommend them to all.

Rick and Jennifer are great people. They are very responsive and prompt. When they say they are going to be there they are there. They are the only electrical company I would ever use. My parents use them as well. You will not be disappointed!!!
