Jim C. allowed us to ask questions, and also provided us with information throughout the process. Lavonte was reliable and arrived every day around the same time. We were informed when changes were required and allowed to ask for alternatives to make good choices. When we brought up issues, they were resolved quickly.The project turned out better than we imagined. Its hard to visualize stuff on paper, but when looking over the project each week, we saw everything take shape. We were insistent on keeping the wood trim and hand-crafted wainscotting to retain the character of the space. The stain matching and work to make all the trim look like it came with the house really ties all the rooms together.

We recently had our bathroom remodeled by the Zengel Group. Our goal was to redo the bathroom so we could “age in place”. We had been involved with two other construction projects prior to moving to our current residence. Our experience with the Zengel Group was by far the easiest, least stressful, and had the most satisfying results. From the initial design to the final product every contact we had with the Zengel Group employees was great. Communication through the CoConstruct software was initially a challenge but once mastered definitely improved communication. Jim Clark , the lead for our project, was a stickler for detail and made sure we were pleased with the results, even to the point of redoing a couple of things. We cannot stress how happy we are with the craftsmanship involving the crown molding, cabinets, plumbing ,tile, granite, and electric. We would definitively recommend the Zengel Group for any remodeling project. Loving our new bath!

The communication throughout the project was very helpful, along with the information on Co-Construct. Without Jennas help, I dont know how I would have survived making so many important decisions. We had a vision of what we wanted but we needed guidance to make it come to life.Admittedly we began with one budget in mind, but as time went on we added to the project and we went well above that initial amount. Nevertheless, that was on us and Zengel Group was very transparent as to how that would affect our budget. We have no regrets with expanding our original vision.

Wonderful experience working with Zengel for our remodeling project from beginning to end! We love our new kitchen and open layout first floor! Their process of having you make all decisions prior to any demo really is the best way to go about it for all parties in order to manage budgets and expectations, and the online communication portal they use really made it easy to communicate and keep everyone involved on the same page. All staff and workers were very kind, super helpful, kept the worksite clean, stayed on schedule, and overall made the entire process pretty stress free. Id highly recommend them to anyone looking to do a remodel!

We worked with Zengel Group Building and Remodeling to complete the addition of a rec room, mud room and laundry room to our home. From our first discussion about our ideas through completion of the project (and after), we couldnt have asked for a better partner for this work.The communication from all team members was great. Communication was timely, we were provided consistent updates and follow-up on questions, changes etc. The work was planned and completed in a way that led to minimal disruptions to our daily activities in the house, and if there were any concerns, they were discussed with us first. The surprises you find on every project were handled quickly, professionally and with the project budget in mind.Another aspect that was done well and appreciated was that collaboration and planning with all contractors was done behind the scenes. We did not have to worry about any planning or scheduling logistics.We would definitely recommend Zengel Group and would use them in the future for additional home projects.

We are pleased to recommend the Zengel Group based on our recent room addition and kitchen remodeling experience with them. The new room and kitchen are beautiful! They teamed with us from design through completion, keeping us completely informed on progress, plans, and costs. Their co-construct web page is a marvelous communication tool. They solved the problem of limited access to the back of our house where other contractors had said the job couldnt be done or quoted outrageous prices. When we were having severe problems with the kitchen cabinet vendor, Mid Continent, the Zengel Group provided a temporary sink and counter to keep us functioning in our home. When Mid Continent refused to fix their issues, the Zengel Group implemented innovative solutions to beautifully complete the project. The Zengel Group easily adjusted to the inevitable surprises that arise when remodeling an older home and expertly took care of the problems. Jim and Connie are people of the highest integrity and easy to work with. They quoted a fair price and stuck to it. Their workmanship is of the highest quality. We absolutely love the result!

We had such a wonderful experience with the Zengel Group as they did a complete remodel of our kitchen, family room and powder room. It was a huge undertaking, and with 2 young kids at home I was nervous how we would survive without a kitchen. The Zengel Group worked hard to minimize all of our inconveniences — they placed plastic doors around the project areas which kept the dust out of the rest of the house, they kept the sink and dishwasher in place for us (despite them having to work around it) until the last possible minute, and they cleaned up daily (even scrubbing the bathroom toilet they used) so the construction zone was safe for my kids. All of the workers were kind and considerate, in addition to being extremely talented. There was an attention to detail that we have not experienced with other companies during home renovations. They uploaded project information to an app so we were able to follow along and double check our material selections. Living through home renovations isn’t easy, but the Zengel Group went above and beyond with their courtesy and professionalism. We love our new kitchen, and plan to use Zengel Group for future projects.

The Zengel Group recently remodeled my kitchen. I commend them for the great job they did. They were professional and very responsive to our questions and needs. The planning was careful and thorough. Once the project started, they were here every day. The Foreman was present every day and made sure we knew what they were doing that day and in the upcoming days. He paid attention not only to the work done by members of the Zengel Group but that done by subcontractors. Their corono virus procedures were very thorough. They sealed off the work area every day while they worked and cleaned and sanitized it at the end of the work day. I never had any mess or dust in other areas of the house. And, they sent me photos throughout the day of the things they were working on. I would definitely use them again and have been recommending them to all my friends.

The Zengel Group has been delightful to work with! Weve had a unique project, transforming a pool room into a multi purpose family room with TV viewing and wine bar with cabinetry. This required lots of planning and the Zengel team was skillful, helpful and supportive all along the way. The vendors recommended by Zengel have been wonderful to work with and all of them have quality products and workmanship. Our project lead, Rick, has been the greatest! We hired Zengel group to remodel our original staircase, which was very unsafe and out of code. Rick and Aaron were very professional and courteous and did an excellent job! As simple as it seems, we loved not having to worry daily “will they show up?,” and our house was clean each day. We could go about our work days and know that we were being taken care of. The attention to detail in the work and the quality is evident. Their online CoConstruct program was also helpful and gave us a sense of security. No other contractor is this professional! We now have a safe and beautiful staircase.We will definitely call Zengel for future projects and refer friends!

Zengel Group recently remolded a home that we had purchased.They were outstanding.From the first meeting to the end of the project they were always available to answer any questions we had and to give us their professional advice on all aspects of the project. They finished on time and within budget.They were meticulous in regards to keeping our property clean and secure. This was very important because we were out of town during the whole renovation. The remold included removing walls and all the flooring which if not done right could be extremely dirty. The project was clean up every day at the end of the work day and the property secured.We were sent pictures of the job regular and never had to ask from them. Jim and Connie were personally involved in all details of the project and responded to all our numerous calls in a timely and gracious manner.I do not think we could have chosen a more knowledgeable,honest or reliable company to handle our remold. Another job well done by the Zengel Group! We had not updated our bathrooms in 25 years, and the Zengel Group came in and made a few simple changes, and our bathrooms look like brand new. We replaced the floor and counters, added a new shower curtain and they look wonderful. We also updated a bar area in the basement, new counter and sink, removed an ancient microwave and refurbished the area for pictures.While we had Rick, Patrick and Aaron here, we found a few more things to add to their to-do list, squeaky windows and such.The Zengel Group, provides excellent and timely service.We would highly recommend the Zengel Group for any remodeling work that you may need!
