We had an issue on a hot Sunday and he came over quickly, and resolved the problem even quicker. He explained the situation, and was honest with pricing. We are now planning to have him do more work on the house.

The past few Eversource power outages convinced us that a new power generator would be an intelligent investment in our home. Looking forward it seems that Eversource is currently powerless to prevent the occurrence of these rascally outages so now seemed a good time to make the leap to help insure that these outages create as shallow of an impact on our lives as possible. We did lots of research and with the well informed guidance of the professionals at Tri-County Electric we decided upon a Generac Natural Gas feed 10KW generator. We worked with Danbury based Tri-County Electric and Brian (Owner), Sarah (Administration), Tyler, Rob and a few other team members who did the installation were a pleasure to work with. A high quality product and installation and a fair price made this purchase one we will benefit from for many years to come. Thank You Tri-County Electric!

I had TC Electric change out/update our main panel, install a portable generator interconnect, & clean up some old wiring. TJ & the electricians who came out were great to work with. TJ was extremely responsive & easy to reach (and very patient with my many questions!). The guys (Ryan - both days, Tommy, Colby) were professional, nice, and worked hard to get the job done. I cant imagine it being easier to have electricians complete a big project! I definitely recommend!

Tri-County Electric came out within an hour on New Year’s Day weekend. First time we have ever used the company and their response time was amazing as we had an emergency at our barn. TJ provided extraordinary service. His fund of knowledge put our minds at ease right away and he fixed the issue within a short period of time. They do amazing work. Used them for a large renovation (all new outlets, smart switches, new led lights) and also for installing an electric car charger

I had a tree take out power in my house on a Saturday. Called Tri-County along with others and they were the only ones to call back. They said they would be out at 9:30 in the morning and they arrived at 9:28. The crew were awesome and friendly and had me back up and with power in no time. The poor guys even had to climb over the fallen tree a bunch…. Will definitely recommend and use them again. Great job!!

Great experience. The company had an electrician at my house within 2 days of the request (it was not an emergency). The electrician was prompt, professional, and explained everything that was happening. He worked quickly and efficiently. The job was done in around 90 mins, and I felt the cost was fair. They billed be through email, and there were Several payment options, including Apple Pay. The whole experience was super seamless. I would recommend to others for sure.

As soon as I got on the phone with Matt to discuss what work I wanted done in my home he was focused and professional. He made an appointment for an estimate, showed up asked a lot of questions, offered suggestions and sent the estimate in a timely manner. Once hired it rained in the day for the scheduled (outdoor) work. I got a call first thing in the morning to reschedule. They then reassessed based on the weather and came the next available day. The work was done efficiently, they double checked with me that everything was working as I expected and left no trash behind. Great experience, reasonable cost, would definitely use this company again.

Brian, Sarah, TJ and Nick all proved excellent service! We had a tree branch take out our power lines and rip off the electrical mast from our house. Not only did Tri-County have it all fixed with new parts and tested in less than 24 hours, they helped us navigate working with Eversource to restore power when they were done. Great job, highly recommend!

Called to request emergency service after our fridge shorted and tripped multiple other breakers on the panel. Since it was going to be very expensive to send someone over, the owner guided me over the phone for a half-hour (at no charge!) on which order to reset everything, which ultimately solved the problem. Will definitely use them for any future electrical needs!

I recently had an urgent need of electrical repairs a house in CT because the previous electrician had done a subpar job converting a sub panel from fuses to a circuit breaker. I found Tri-County Electrics business card and gave them a call. What a pleasure it was working with this company. I received a call back within an hour from the project manager. That alone is unusual today. He listened to my problem and time constraint. He scheduled me for repairs right away. The estimate was on target for time to repair and rates were reasonable. I was sent before and after photos of the repairs. I would use this company again and highly recommend them.

Its the second car charger weve had Tri-City install (for two hybrid vehicles). They did terrific, professional work. Both times they were done quickly, the units work perfectly and the aesthetics of the installations were top-notch. In early 2020 we hired a local general contractor to complete a total renovation of our first floor, including the kitchen, living room and dining room. We asked him to bring in his own subs, and he recommended Tri-County Electrical for the electrical portion of the project. Consequently, we met with Brian, the owner, and Matt, the head of operations, and developed the projects requirements. They proposed a number of changes and additions, which we accepted. Shortly thereafter, we received their proposal which we thought was reasonable and agreed to a contract. When their work was begun, the electricians were professional and respectful. They protected our furniture and did a thorough job of cleaning their workspace before they left. The project was completed without a hitch, on time and on budget. Consequently I highly recommend Tri-County Electrical.
