Called Competitive Electric and Joe was there quickly. He was very helpful and figured out a complex electrical issue. Pricing was very fair and Joe was great overall. Highly recommend.

Has an emergency in my basement during a renovation. Needed immediate service. Joe returned my call within minutes of my calling. Was able to get to my house in 2 hours. Got right to work diagnosing the issue. Fixed the issue expertly and according to new code requirements. Was willing to install a couple light fixtures I was having trouble with myself and many outlets and a dimmer switch. He also recommended a separate breaker for the refrigerator and freezer I have in the basement as well and installed a GFI outlet for them. All of this was accomplished in just over 4 hours. Very reasonable charge considering it being an emergency and all the work he was able to accomplish. I would certainly use his services again in the future.

They installed my Tesla level 2 home charger quickly and professionally last week and in a prior service call last year they wired and installed my whole house generator just days before a big storm. Storm came, all my neighbors had no power and my entire house was up and running like nothing ever happened. Excellent workmanship and fair pricing.

Joe at Competitive Electric is simply the best. Had many other electricians, they don’t call back, don’t show up and when they do come there’s always some issue. Joe is fast, conscientious and professional. Just came on time, solved the problem and did the work. No issues. When it comes to electricians don’t gamble. Joe is the guy. I really didn’t want to tell just how good he is because I wanted to keep him for myself. But oh well now everyone knows.
