Had a backup in the house and initially called a plumber (of course it was a Sunday). After determining it was a drain field issue we called Blackwater. They came out and did a pump out and gave us an estimate. For 2024 the price was fair so we scheduled a perc test, got the permits and 3 weeks later we’re back online. Staff was professional from office staff to crew that did the install. Highly recommend Blackwater Septic to anyone who has septic needs.

We had issues with our septic coming back into our house/tub and Ryan from Blackwater fit me in today to come to the rescue! He was beyond nice and helpful and explained exactly what happened, where it happened, and what i should look out for. Their prices are very reasonable and he saved my house in the horrible heat so now my husband can come home after work and still take a shower without worrying about the septic backing up! After fifty years experience in Crawfordville with septic tank issues and local service providers I recently had my tank pumped and drain field replaced by Blackwater Septic Service. This was my first time using Blackwater Septic but I was thoroughly impressed by their helpful office staff and the prompt, friendly, and professional field work.All of the necessary steps for the new drainfield, including estimates, soil testing, permitting, scheduling, and final inspection happened quickly and on time and the work site was left in excellent condition. Very professional, prompt and trustworthy. I called for a septic tank repair because I thought it was my septic pump and was told that it was not my pump but I needed a plumber. It would have been so easy to be taken advantage of because I would have been none the wiser but he was honest with me. I called on a Saturday for a pump out of my septic system. I left a voicemail and received a return call within 15 minutes. Thankfully they were available in the afternoon. Kenny was very professional and efficient. He patiently and knowledgeably answered my questions about septic tanks, drain fields and systems while he pumped out my overly full tank. This could have easily ruined my weekend but bc Blackwater Septic was so responsive it was only an annoyance on a Saturday. I HIGHLY recommend Blackwater. If they are this good on a Saturday They must be fabulous during the week. 😃

Today we had a septic emergency, and my MIL gave me Blackwaters name and number. I called and Mr. Miller actually answered the phone himself, on a Sunday. I told him our problem and he gave me an estimated time, and ended up being an hour early, which was great. Mr. Miller got us fixed and told us about some issues our tank has, along with a solution to fix our issues from happening again. The service was super fast, super friendly, and I will definitely be calling them with any future septic needs.

Needed a complete septic replacement, the tank was still good but everything else failed and needed replacing. Blackwater did everything, pulled the permits, dug out and replaced everything, did all the actual work in 3 days, inspection included. These guys work hard and get the job done. Called at 9:20 on a Friday morning. Casey (owner) answered phone immediately. I said that I needed a septic pumped out and a conversation about what was wrong with my system. 45 minutes later Kenny and Jacob arrived. They did a quick job of finding the septic cover and were pumping it out in no time. When they were finished, they inspected the system, determined a new drain field was in order. Kenny went through the whole process with me, from the soil test, to what might be likely options given the yard layout (lay a new field beside old one, remove old one, find a new location, pumps, etc.). He was thorough and patient with my questions. Very professional operation. I will be using Blackwater for the installation of the new drain field.
