    Tweedy Plumbing was everything I could hope for in a company! David arrived on short notice to address the problem with my outdoor fire pit. They created a new pipe and reinstalled it within a week. They let you know they are on their way so you don’t have to guess a time. Very fair pricing. I will definitely use them again!

    Tweedy Plumbing was recommended to me by a friend and now I know why. The two gentlemen who came were courteous and efficient and got both of my drains cleaned out with very little trouble. They were also cognizant of the current situation with the Covid 19 virus, and wore masks, gloves, booties, etc. into the house. I will definitely call them first if I need a plumber in the future!

    We were quoted nearly $2000 by another company for a plumbing repair on our residential rental property. We decided to get input from Tweedy, based on the recommendation of our tenant’s friend. Tweedy dispatched someone the next day and determined that the services recommended by the other company were completely unnecessary and wouldn’t have resolved the issue. Tweedy fixed the problem for $250. They saved us money, time, and additional inconvenience to our tenant. We appreciated the professionalism and integrity of Tweedy Plumbing and will definitely contact them next time we have a problem.

    I had an issue with my shower handle and the water would not turn off! I called Tweedy and expressed my concern and they were able to come out to my house within 30 minutes! They were very professional and efficient. They were able to take my payment right after the service with card.

    Tweedy Plumbing was quick to reply to an emergency pipe break. They were professional and timely. They drove to several locations to locate a special part for me at no charge. After a minor incident in accidentally damaging something, they promptly replaced it taking on any associated cost.They are true professionals and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a plumber.

    We had a problem with our shower faucet. The cartridge was leaking. I wish to share that not only was I pleased with their office staff that took down all of my information but they were also able to come out the same day and provide excellent service in the field it seems to be a really well run company with extremely helpful and professional employees. It should be noted that I had called a couple other plumbers they didn’t even pick up their phone. I think it speaks volumes when you can get same-day service when you have an emergency and that goes a long way in my book.

    We had a water main break at the side of our house that left us with no water so we called The team of Tweedy plumbing and they showed up the next day. The two plumbers evaluated the problem and discovered the builder had put in the wrong pieces which ultimately caused the leak just after 4 years of owning the new home. Tweedy provided a solution that will last for a long time at a fair price in a quick manner. The two plumbers were professional and did an excellent job installing the new pieces of pipe.

    Tweedie Plumbing came the day after another plumbing company replaced a garbage disposal unit and cleared the outflow pipe which apparently had been blocked. One hour later the pipe was blocked again! Rather than go back to the plumber, I called Tweedie on the advice of my neighbor.Turns out the pipe was blocked with a plug of grease that the previous plumber deliberately left there (when I called to complain that the drain was still blocked they said i needed a special jet cleaning that would cost $1500).Joe from Tweedie cleared the grease, replaced the garbage disposal unit and everything is fine.Moral of the story: Check the Contractors License on the State website. The first company has a history of malfeasance that is mind boggling.

    I don’t think I’ve ever had a plumber call or email me after the job was done to to follow up and “check in”. Their quote and invoice process is by far the most sophisticated and straightforward in the business. On two occasions they exceeded the arrival time. Great experience and we’ll run company.

    Had a very good experience with Von and his partner. They came within the time frame, had the parts needed on their truck ( really important) had the job completed within a half hour.     I made the call to Tweedy and friendly, professional service tech came out when promised. Older water heater in perfect working order, but pilot light was not staying lit and thermo-couple was in need of replacing. Service tech was not able to replace thermo-couple, so only course of action was $1380 new water heater. No love / discount shown to neighborhood customer. I definitely recommend doing your price comparing before committing to Tweedy.

    I had an emergency restaurant kitchen sink clog issue. Tweety came to my store super fast. Prices were very reasonable. Very upfront about costs, time to fix and showed me step by step what they were doing. Very professional team, never felt like they were selling me something i really didnt need.     For the first time in my life I had a toilet clog I couldnt handle. After asking around I got the number for Tweedy Plumbing from a friend. I called, talked to a very friendly guy (Channin, I think) and explained my situation. He told me that someone would be here within a specified time. Two guys arrived, looked at the problem and told me what they could do and what it would cost. I agreed and within 20 minutes or so, the problem was fixed and there was no mess or water on the floor. Very nice ! The whole experience, from phone call to problem fixed, was actually pleasant, very different from prior plumbing problem experiences.I would call Tweedy Plumbing again, and would recommend them to anybody. I even hope someone asks.

I would recommend them in the Newport Mesa are for sure. FYI- they replaced the pilot assembly kit/thermocouple in my GE water heater. Not an easy task as it requires dis-assembly and taking the heater pan out.
