    LONG POST ALERT🗣First of all I just want to say my overall experience was wonderful from the initial service call inquiry with Judy to the on-site diagnosis from Danny, and the constant follow up from believe it or not- the owner himself, James Wilson!! I mean, if you want a more diligent and thorough, compassionate, professional and personable team-I wouldnt go anywhere else but to Eco green home services!In North Carolina the temperatures have been over 80° consistently and our air conditioning was out over 2 weeks and we have a small child so urgency was vital!! So upon going through several unprofessional service technicians we were losing Faith in a trustworthy and reliable HVAC company. Our last Research through Thumbtack led us to finding EcoGreen services and that could not have been a better decision for our family.I definitely feel that they went above and beyond and their concern was to provide not only cool air and comfort, but honest and dependable work To put our mind at ease LONG TERM. The owner insured that when we got off the phone after the initial scheduling that it would be completed the next day and he definitely kept that promise- as surprisingly a service team of 5 men including The salesman Danny showed up at my house to personally help handle and set up the initial install of our new air conditioning unit! All of the men and staff are very professional and in no way made me feel like another service call.The new digital smart thermostat install was the icing on the cake!! And then to find out they provide more services in sign to HVAC- IT would be a a no-brainer to use them for your one stop shopping choice. I am also a home Baker and I hate that Danny had to leave early to perform an emergency install because he missed out on some homemade cookies that I provided to the installers just for their great service.!     I found this company through Duke energys website. I contacted them initially about insulation installation. I met with Alan, who promptly returned my call, and he was polite, competent, and professional. I added a tankless water heater system which he bundled with the attic insulation and gave me a very competitive price. I had great communication and schedule flexibility throughout my job. I want to especially thank the technician/plumber Alexis who spent half the day under my home. I am impressed with these men with whom I interacted and would recommend them to anyone considering this type of work.

    The water suddenly started to run slowly from all the faucets in my house. Fearing a burst pipe somewhere, I called EcoGreen for help and they had a plumber at my house within an hour or so. Alex found the issue (pressure regulator stopped working) and fixed it. I was relieved and very thankful for the quick response!

    The experience I had with EcoGreen Home services was top notch. I was shopping around for a new HVAC system and when Alan came to my home to discuss options, he asked me what I wanted instead of trying to give me different options. I gave him a price point and he told all that would be included within that price range. It was definitely refreshing to set the price and see if they could work within it instead of being presented options and then going back and forth. Once we came to an agreement, he was still available to talk on the phone late into the evening to discuss some questions and concerns I had. His ability to communicate and friendliness put my concerns to ease, and I was scheduled to have my unit installed 2 days later. On the day of the install, 3 gentlemen arrived, Tamir, Mike, and Opie. All were extremely professional and friendly and would routinely answer questions and interact with my 5-year-old son, which he loved. All 3 worked efficiently and diligently to install the new unit and ensure it was installed correctly. Any questions I had they answered and never felt out of the loop.Overall, my experience with EcoGreen was fantastic and I highly recommend using their services.

    For the most part my experience went well with EcoGreen, aside from the technician showing up an hour and fifteen minutes later than scheduled. I work from home and had moved some virtual meetings around to accommodate the expected time he was supposed to arrive, so this was a little frustrating. Other than that, the work itself was done very well and payment was easy. Their follow up communication was great as well.

    I applied for a service quote thru Duke Energy after it referred me to them for a $250-300 rebate for improving my attic insulation. Johnnie came out and quoted me - their quote beat a company called “Power” by a significant margin.The crew came out and completed the work in a few hours and did a fantastic job. Very respectful and clean! I am looking forward to seeing some improvements in my energy bill!Highly recommend! I’ll definitely be giving them a call back for any future hvac or insulation needs.

    I was referred to Echo Green on Saturday by my parents after my home warranty company told me that they would not have any available technicians to come and diagnose my system until July 22nd; with a 6 month pregnant wife, that simply would not do when our house reached 85 degrees inside by noon. James was extremely helpful with troubleshooting and diagnosing our situation and ultimately had our unit back up and running by mid afternoon. This situation gave me a clear understanding of their character I would not hesitate to recommend this company after the experience we had with James.

    I have contemplated this review all weekend to give the most complete opinion possible. EcoGreen Home Services is an excellent company and I can recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC Install/Repair. While my experience with the HVAC industry is limited, having been in purchasing most of my career I have the ability to tell a quality vendor from bad one. This company is quality from top to bottom! Kaye and Nita in the office are great at communicating with the customer and act in a pro-active mode even during high demand periods. Tamir and Carter, installers in the field were on time, on point and exhibited an attention to detail that is questionable in so many contractors. Their knowledge of the systems and willingness to do whatever is necessary to please the customer is truly refreshing and speaks to the ownership of this company. Now I would like to speak briefly about the owner James Wilson, this is a gentleman that has renewed my faith in contractors. It has been a long time since I have felt it necessary to bring someone like this to the publics attention. James is an individual with ethics that have become an afterthought it seems with so many people. This is a person that you can trust and if he promises something will be done you can bet he will go to extreme lengths to see that it is. Im sure I have carried on too long so just let me sum it up like this. If you need HVAC service or are considering replacing yours, This is the company for you.     I find it RARE that in todays world you can find a company that is ETHICAL, HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGABLE, and obviously CONCERNED FOR THE CUSTOMERs welfare and their own companies NAME.EcoGreen Home Services IS such a company. We have only lived in this part of the country for 2 years, and had the opportunity to utilize their plumbing service.The technician MATT BARBAGLI evaluated our problem and was candid, honest, and concerned that I understood the problem and its resolution. In conversations with the office, I had the opportunity to talk with NITA. Her desire to facilitate a CORRECT answer to situations and problems solidified my confidenc and belief that this company was and is WHO I want to do business with.     I had a gas tankless water heater install with these guys, and their plumber quit after taking my quote, which caused two missed install dates and left the new plumber in the dark (some room for improvement there - orig. plumber should have written things down). The new plumber rectified everything though, and worked REALLY hard to get the job done. Eco green honored a military discount and gave me a free pressure regulation valve upgrade and servicing for the inconvenience, so alls well that ends well. Reasonably priced, prompt rectification of inconveniences/mistakes, professional and courteous service. Id use them again and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

    Andrew came out to help us this evening (Sunday before Memorial Day) when our air conditioners were not cooling. He effectively trouble shooted the issue and got us back up and running in about an hour. When I initially called, he asked a few questions to make sure I had done the basic troubleshooting because he did not want us to waste our money. I told him we needed the air fixed tonight due to a construction project schedules to start on Memorial Day. He drove 45 minutes in a thunderstorm to reach us. Very personal, knowledgeable, and professional. Reasonably priced for coming out on a Holiday weekend. Highly recommend Andrew and EcoGreen. Thank you!

    The company responded to my voice mail within an hour and scheduled a technician, Alexis, who arrived within 2 hours from their response. He was knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. He diagnosed the problem of a disconnected joint in my dryer vent pipe to the outside. He assessed the proper solution quickly which meant cutting a hole in the ceiling of my garage to access the pipe. He only needed to cut once and fixed the connection.This is the third time Ive used their services, twice before for lighting/electrical services. Ive been extremely satisfied each time.

    After moving to a home in Hickory last fall, replacing its 16-year old electric water heater was a priority. Unfamiliar with the area, and needing a reliable plumber, I asked Duke Energy for referrals. Duke recommended just one company in the area, EcoGreen in Cornelius. Nick from EcoGreen asked good questions to determine 40 gallons is the right size for us (up to 4 people), and discussed the three brands he recommends based on performance and reliability. He answered my questions clearly and completely. Nick’s professionalism, depth of knowledge, and passion for his craft convinced me that EcoGreen was the right choice for me. The other plumber’s quote was lower, and yes, I want a good price, but with no details behind the quote, I had little confidence. On the other hand, Nick was clear about what I would get for my money. The installation itself went smoothly and the quality of the work was impeccable. I highly recommend EcoGreen for your plumbing needs. I’m using EcoGreen again very soon, HVAC services, to install a new bathroom vent fan.

    I received a call from the owner James Wilson and he placed a rep in our home within the hour. Kelly came out and was professional and gave us quotes and provided financing within an hour. The installation crew arrived the next morning and had the unit in within 3 hours. We had some wiring issues later that evening, and Lee came back out at 7:30pm and fixed the issues. He also went under the house and checked every duct to make sure there were no issues there. This company is professional and 5star. I will recommend them to everyone I know who needs a new HVAC unit. Quick service with 15 degree weather and no heat. All other companies were giving 5 day windows for installation. EcoGreen had us taken care of from quote to installation in 24 hours. Call them!

They did a super job, so much so that when our second HVAC system needed replacement we went with EcoGreen. EcoGreen repaired and painted it flawlessly thanks to JDs additional plastering/painting skills! Amazing! Very pleased. Nice group of guys.

    Absolutely wonderful experience! My son discovered a leak in the ceiling in our garage coming from a leaky pipe from a bathtub upstairs.     I had an outdoor outlet that wasn’t working and it turns out it was just something that tripped the outlet in my master bath. The technician was very honest about that and I could’ve just paid for a service call but while he was here he brought to my attention some safety issues with the older outlets that were in the home when I purchased it. I am very grateful for this because my mother lives with me and has dementia and tried in the past to stick a fork in an outlet. I can’t keep eyes on her 24 hours a day but now that the outlets have been updated I don’t have to worry about her electrocuting herself!     Great customer service is a rarity these days. I want to share my experience with Eco Green Heating & AC out of Cornelius. I had no heat from my furnace and called Eco Green after I had tried a different company that came out, did not fix the problem but charged me $100. Eco Greens owner, James Wilson, sent Joe (HVAC) and Luis (electrician) to my house within 30 minutes of my call. They diagnosed the issue straight away, fixed it and restored my heat. The charges were fair, but the response, the expertise and the manner in which these men conducted themselves were outstanding.     They are priced a little high however during the estimate process I liked what I heard and they guarantee their work. I did ask if a piece of tin that covers the soffit could be tacked up during the repair and they said yes. During the job I was told they couldn’t get it. Oh well I understand anyway. They also drove all over trying to find parts and I appreciate that for sure. They even listened to an older lady and her stories and opinions. I would recommend Eco green to others.

    Steven G. repaired our dryer outlet and rewired/replaced all of the melted wires, cords, and outlet itself. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained exactly what had failed in the outlet that caused the meltdown. Steven also had it back up and running incredibly quick.     We had some major water damage to our house 2 years ago. Experts told us we needed to change the waste pipe that drains our cloths washer because it was the size. Talking thousands of dollars to remove and replace. Ecogreen sent Plumer, Nick Gearity to our house in Hickory. He texted me that he was on his way. Who does that?He arrived earlier then expected and got right to work. He examined our situation and came up with a totally different diagnosis. He not only found the problem (hidden plug in a horizontal line). He fixed it after running for parts and literally saved me thousands of dollars! We are extremely well satisfied with Nicks work.     Shout out to Isaiah! He was so meticulous and thorough. We had some outlets that stopped working all of a sudden and it didn’t take him long to figure out the issue. The hardest part was finding which outlet had the loose wire because our home has a million outlets. He was so courteous and cleaned up everything when he was done. I feel like their pricing was comparable to other companies and they were quick to come out and diagnose our problem.
