I had new windows installed at Barcelona Restaurant and most of the window frames had to be built.Nicholson Builders was a great company to work with.The are detail oriented and great with communication.They coordinated with the glass company so that I didn’t have to worry about that part.The on sight team was courteous, worked quickly and cleaned up everything when done for the day.I will definitely use Nicholson Builders again and highly recommend them.

We have had quite a few projects performed by Nicholson Builders over the past couple of years, including the total rebuild of our brick front porch, the addition of a wooden ceiling in our foyer, a shower remodel with new tile, the addition of moulding on our stairway walls and the installation of a stainless-steel shelf on our rear deck. And we have several other future projects that we are planning to complete with Nicholson Builders. None of these projects are inexpensive nowadays, but knowing that a truly courteous, professional and experienced team is doing the work gives you tremendous peace of mind. This is the type of experience you will always receive from Nicholson Builders. From their office staff to their project managers to their technicians, you will never find a better group people to deal with. We love Nicholson Builders!

Nicholson Builders did some home remodeling, bathroom updates & renovations, and a number of smaller handyman type projects. They gave us a clear estimate and contract and stayed on schedule. They did excellent work and communicated very well. On site workers were courteous and good workers. Will Lamm our on site lead worker was excellent! We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

We honestly feel that our bathroom glow-up is the best quality, most professional and easiest renovation work we have ever had. We are beyond thrilled.Bryan Copley listened to our ideas and did not suggest (like some) that our job was too small to handle. In fact, our project, (new sink, toilet, flooring, wainscoting and tub surround,) fell perfectly into Nicholsons Small Project division. Bryan helped us fine tune our ideas and source quality fixtures and materials.Paul Batchelder, our project coordinator, answered our many, many questions and kept us updated on work and schedules.Lastly Alfred and Luca, our talented craftsmen, made a tired 100 year-old bathroom look fresh and new, yet still fitting the style of our home. From initial design through project completion they were highly professional and paid meticulous attention to every detail. The craftsmanship of their construction team is second to none! Recently, we had maintenance work done on our home by Nicholson Builder’s Small Projects Department. It was great to find someone to do minor to moderate repairs that are beyond the time and/or capacity of typical homeowners. We scheduled and worked out the details with Dan McCallister, Paul Batchelder, Bryan Copley and Madison Wichael who were all very knowledgeable, prompt and fair. James Yoder performed the work, and he was detailed and did an excellent job. Overall, we were very satisfied with the whole experience and will keep Nicholson Builder’s on speed dial.

They offered the full range of services we needed, from consulting on the design to the many skills needed to complete the job with high quality. Nicholson Builders replaced the decking on our front porch. We were extremely happy with all aspects of this project — from the initial contact with Nicholson to the completion of the project. We dealt with several people who assessed the issues with the porch and advised us on how to proceed. Ultimately, the project was assigned to the small projects division and, partly due to the unseasonably warm weather, was completed quickly. The finished porch looks great, and we were very appreciative of the attention to detail given to this work.Shortly after finishing the porch project, we discovered that our bathroom shower had developed a leak; we immediately contacted Nicholson again. They came out quickly to assess the problem and a short time later began the repairs. The repairs presented some unexpected challenges but we were impressed with the efforts to solve the problems and the extent to which we were included in the decision-making. Once again, we were extremely happy with the results, the process, and the crew. Thank you Bryan, Nick, Jack, and Al.

We have used Nicholson for a small project and a large bathroom remodel. You will have to be on a waitlist but it is worth it. They are comprehensive and their work is impeccable. The design team was a fountain of ideas and I felt free to express my likes and my dislikes. They took all questions and concerns seriously and I knew that they were there to make sure I was happy with every choice along with way. There are always unexpected things that arise in a reno but they handled each one deftly. Their workers are clean and courteous and very respectful of my time and home. Their communication was excellent I always knew what to expect. I hope that the renovation stage of our home is over but if not...they will be my first phone call.

Weve worked with Nicholson Builders on large and small projects throughout our 1893 Victorian home. Our most recent project was a house addition and full kitchen renovation which also included relocating a powder room. From planning and designing until completion, the Nicholson team takes excellent care of us. They really listen to our needs, including our more creative requests, and they are willing to work out all the little details that make a huge difference in the functionality and aesthetics of a space. If there are any problems along the way, Nicholson are quick and considerate in addressing them. They work cleanly, carefully and are very thorough. The quality of their construction and craftsmanship is exceptional. They respect a historic home and employ creative and appropriate solutions to issues unique to older homes. We will definitely work with Nicholson on future home projects. Our experience with them is unequivocally positive in every respect.

Nicholson Builders just finished our kitchen remodel project. It couldnt have turned out better. We did the design ourselves using IKEA cabinets. Nicholson did the complete installation including cabinets, countertops, appliances, patching the ceiling (matched the ceiling pattern perfectly), new flooring. The quality is excellent. Wayne was our project lead. He kept us informed throughout the project. We were out of town for most of the work. He had video chats with us and sent texts and photos whenever there were decisions to be made. The project was done on time, and within budget.

I had a morning consultation scheduled with Nicholson Builders, and spoke to the consultant right before he was due to come, clarifying that I needed advice from someone with marble/tile experience for problems that we are having with our shower. Bryan had me send pictures of my marble shower, and then used those pictures to get some expert advice from his contacts. It ended up that he consulted with me over the phone vs coming out, and saved me the consulting fee. (He said not to worry about it.) I was very impressed with Bryans efforts (and time--several phone calls) to help me, and now I have a much better idea of what course of action to take. I am thankful for the ethic of helpfulness, for possible future business.

They were always so pleasant, dependable and trustworthy.So, when we bought an older home to renovate in Worthington Proper they were immediately the ones we thought of to help use. Because of what we wanted in the house and because it was a 1951 Cinder Block house we ended up tearing it down and building.Have never regretted using Nicholson. They do have a longer lead time than other remodelers and they are more expensive than average, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Bill Nicholson and his company are a true gem in the home remodeling field.

I have had the great good fortune of working with the Nicholson firm for many home remodeling projects. The most recent was a Master Bedroom en Suite addition. It is very hard for me to come up with what part of the process I was more impressed with—Britain’s honest and straightforward salesmanship, Amy’s lovely and helpful design, Rich’s extraordinary craftsmanship and all the subs who showed up in timely fashion. Lastly, but, by far, not least, I am most grateful to my project manager, Tim Beachy. His respectful, kind, highly communicative manner set the tone for everyone else on this job. His knowledge, ability, attention to detail, and supreme professionalism impressed me to the nth degree. There are always bumps along a remodeling road, but mine were handled expeditiously and respectfully. Communication was prioritized. I can not recommend Nicholson Builders highly enough. They will be my first and only call if I am in the market for their services again.

Over the past sixteen years my wife and I have worked on five projects with Nicholson Builders. These ranged from replacing 140 year old flooring in our home, remodeling a craft/sewing room, engineering and installing an electric winch in our attic to raise/lower a large chandelier in an eighteen foot high atrium, rebuilding a cedar fence enclosing our backyard and building an articulated mail drop for our garage door. Its a compliment to Nicholson Builders that the same managers and carpenters we worked with in the beginning are still with the company. Their work is exemplary and well continue to work with Nicholson Builders as needed.

In fact, they coordinated the work to suit our schedule despite what appeared to be a very busy time for their group. We would give 6 stars to this company if possible! For years, we had contractor phobia and put off any remodeling project. But after so many remodeling tours and discussions with potential companies, we decided to go with Nicholson, and have had absolutely no regrets since. First, they do beautiful work, and have the highest standards of workmanship. Second, they did not rush us into any decisions we had to make during the process. Third, and possibly most importantly, every Nicholson employee earned our trust to be in our house and do their job without any worry on our part. They truly have become our contractor for life.

PM Bryan Copley of the Small Projects Division sent a good team, led by Alfred, who examined the problem then consulted with their in-house architect that came up with a solution that was less expense than expected. Did a fantastic job remodeling our master bathroom. They started with a total redesign that provided increased & more usable storage, opened up the space to make it light & airy, improved the traffic flow to make it more comfortable & useable. Suggested helpful additions while helping us steer away from possible problem ideas that would not have worked in the long run. Worked to understand us & our likes/dislikes then worked through a style we liked & worked to pick out all bath components, tile, colors, etc.Then demolition started on schedule & proceeded flawlessly throughout installation. The various trades people were real craftspeople that were highly concerned with making us happy by not interrupting our lives too much, paying high attention to detail (including details we did not even notice), asking our specific preferences, cleaning up every day & keeping us informed.Could not be happier with the end result- the space is a complete joy to use & look at every day. We wanted to start a remodeling relationship with a company & we definitely found a partner we enjoy & trust completely.

We recently worked the Nicholsons small project division and had a GREAT experience. We had a ton of small deferred maintenance projects around the house and didnt know what to do about them. We had tried to hire handymen in the past, but never had a good experience. So a lot of things just lingered because we didnt know what to do, or who to call to fix them.We finally called Nicholson because we had friends who raved about the work they did for a larger home remodeling project. Our hope was that their small projects division would be able to help fix up things around our house.They delivered and then some! We had a fantastic experience working with them. Every single person we interacted with was professional, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. There was great communication from start to finish, they worked with our schedule and were able to accommodate other projects we were doing around the house and, of course, the workmanship was top notch.Well absolutely hire them again for any project; I have complete trust in them and their work. In our new to us home we had small projects that needed done and their team delivered. My Grandmothers motto of touch it once, when doing a project is a great way to sum up their wonderful work. Electrical, drywall patching, and internet cable running were up on our list first and they exceeded all expectations. So much so, we are already scheduled to have them come look at a few more items on our list. If youre looking for hands-on service done right the first time, with care toward the customer, then youve found the right company.

They are simply exceptional from a workmanship point of view and reliability. Also, they are very fair in terms of their change order costs, and their bids are right in line with the final costs. The workers are friendly, always on time, and they keep the job sites very clean. All of the projects have been completed ON TIME, if not sooner. 5 stars all the way.

I have not uploaded my photos yet but I would recommend Nicholson Builders to any commercial company or residential looking to remodel or build. We sought them out for a large office remodel including a new kitchen/breakroom design, paint, electric and plumbing as well as adding to our fire system to meet city regulations. They were a pleasure to work with, never giving kickback when a change order was requested and remained flexible with our timeline. 100% met our remodel expectations and more because of their caring attitude, quick responses and flexibility.
