    Ive used their services a few times for some smaller jobs. I was so impressed by their professionalism, timeliness and knowledge I chose to book them for a major waterproofing in my basement and sump discharge line replacement, I was not disappointed. My project manager Adam was on site everyday with a full crew of courteous guys working quickly and professionally.The waterproofing was a long, intense, dirty job with jackhammers, concrete, dirt and mud. Adam and his crew knocked it out ahead of schedule, stayed on top of any messes cleaning up at the end of every day and hauled away all the waste. They communicated updates with me daily and even tolerated me nosing around the job.They finished ahead of schedule, on budget and fully cleaned up. I would highly recommend to anyone who asked.

    FANTASTIC!!! 10/10 recommend. Everyone from the dispatchers to the gentleman (Chris) who did the write up and estimate/scope of work to the crew (JD, Mac, Josh and Brandon) who did all the plumbing work, were amazing. Spent a lot of time answering all my questions. They worked non stop all day, to the point I was encouraging them to take a quick break (they didn’t take me up on it lol). Affordable, personable and did excellent work! Plus they cleaned up everything. The price they gave me was the price I paid too. No surprises. They also completed it within the time frame they quoted. I had my whole house re-piped (from galvanized/copper to pex) along with some other work done. Added some photos to showcase how tight their plumbing work is. Love to see it. Thanks again Universal!!

    Universal Plumbing & Sewer are truly a blessing especially during this holiday season. My sump pump stopped working on Christmas eve so I googled the best plumbing services near me. Several came up, Universal had great ratings and reviews so I called them and boy I’m glad I did. They are very professional, prompt and reliable. They kept me posted every step of the way from my appointment time and day to the arrival time of the technician. I even received a text message and a nice photo from the tech himself prior to his arrival which was very nice.     We had a leak coming from our upstairs guest bathroom, with water starting to drip downstairs in our kitchen. I called Universal and easily scheduled someone to come out- with helpful text notifications on the day of the visit. Damian from Universal arrived promptly within the time window that we were given. He was an absolute professional the entire time- walked us through figuring out the problem and was very patient in the process. He explained what was happening and knew exactly how to fix it. Not only did he fix the leak on the spot, he thoroughly provided details before and after. Pricing was considerably lower than we expected and he even sealed our bathtub at no charge. Absolutely will be using this company again any time we have plumbing issues- thank you to Damian and Universal, highly recommend anyone looking.

    I had a backed up, leaking toilet in my finished basement. I contacted Universal late in the afternoon and they were at my home within 90 minutes. Damien came out and was super professional and answered all my questions. I was extremely impressed with his thoughtfulness of using “booties” on his shoes and cleaning his machine wheels, prior to bringing it down my stairs into my home. Those little things truly mean a lot to me. I highly recommend this company to anyone for their plumbing needs. Five stars!!

    First, a thanks to “ALL DRY Restoration” for the amazing referral to Universal Plumbing!! This plumbing company is amazing and worth every bit of 5 stars!! From my after hours call to Dawn, for the flooding in my basement to the help she sent my way..Arthur to snake, then the crew, Justin and Koa, the next day came to break open floor and remove and replace the storm trap with backwater valve and then Collin and Koa, after inspection to fill it back in and cement the floor. They were all so knowledgeable, kind, respectful, neat and tidy too…if not for the open hole and then the cementing, you would not have known anyone was there. You can tell they take great pride in their workmanship and their employment with Universal Plumbing!!I will most definitely use them again and also refer them too!!!!Kudos to the way a business should be run!!     Absolutely astonished at how prompt the service repair was performed and scheduled by Universal Plumbing. They recently repaired my sewer line and I was so pleased with their service I did not hesitate to call for my shower and kitchen sink issue. Both were running very slowly and with the holidays approaching I did not want to take any chances. Colin was so kind and professional. He listened carefully to the issues and went straight to work. The Job was done, efficiently and effectively. Everything was left spotless. Colin even suggested several other options if I continue to have additional issues as the pipes are old in my 1952 cape cod. Great company, great service! Thanks.

    I had forgotten that I used Universal at my home two years ago while looking for a plumber for my sons sewer line collapse. I am so glad that I had previous experience with them and they didnt let us down on this HUGE job. Cannot say enough good words for the initial contact with Arther, to the exterior lead, Justin, site supervisor, Adam, and inside tech, Gavin (with the nice eyes, wink). These fellows, along with the rest of the crew were very professional, letting me know when they would be arriving and what work they would be doing. They wound up putting in around 40 feet of PVC while removing the old cast iron pipe that was 100 years old and had finally failed. They by far beat all of the esimates that we had been given. If you want a very fair, honest, reliable and affordable company, do not hesitate to hire Universal!

Damion, the technician arrived promptly, introduced he and his partner and placed covers on their shoes when entering. They quickly assessed our concerns. One project was corrected and the other was assessed for an estimate. When they departed we immediately received an email with a description of their job along with pictures.     Had a wonderful experience with Universal. I had a drain pipe leak that lead to a whole other host of issues and they walked me through everything- from calling out a restoration company to them assisting with getting an asbestos abatement to fixing my actual plumbing issue. Chris (who came out & provided me with a quote) answered all my questions and laid out the process clearly while JD (who did the actual repair) was timely and made sure to walk me through everything they did to fix the repair and why.     I have used Universal several times over the last few years mostly for sewer work and have recommended them to others. This time I needed leaky shutoff valve replaced that was a little tricky because of its tight location next to joists and cabling in the basement. Universal was prompt in responding and Damian who did the job was nothing but professional. He did the job quickly and repositioned the shutoff to make it a little easier to use. Great job guys!

    I am a repeat customer and will not utilize any other plumbing company. I hadnt had water in my basement before, but found I did this past Monday. I called Universal and explained that I thought my floor drain was clogged and my ancient sump pump wasnt working. I requested an afternoon appointment, confirmed it. Universal sent 2 wonderful plumbers that looked at the drain and pump. Determined that my ancient pump needed a new sensor and theyd force air through the pipes to clear the water. They asked if they could return today as they couldnt get the pump working correctly. They scheduled the return, showed up and had everything working and cleaned within a half hour. Price was reasonable for the service and they said if I wanted to, theyd work with my condo association to replace the pump. Excellent service, great people. Ive recommended them to friends and family and we all agree, its a great company to work with.

    No one ever plans for these things to happen, but they’re part of home ownership. Universal Plumbing and Sewer were able to fit me in the same day, as an emergency, when my main line backed up. They were prompt and responsive. My tech, Damian, was fantastic. He was courteous and polite, attempted to cause minimal inconvenience or mess and worked hard to get the issue resolved quickly.     I needed a valve changed out to bring it up to code, along with replacing the copper line from my refrigerator to the water line in the basement. They went above and beyond to make sure the installation went smoothly and we were happy, also made sure everything was cleaned up when they were done.     My brother lives in a condo. He is 88 and fell and won’t be going back to the condo soon. His toilet started leaking from underneath the water closet. I had used Universal Plumbing With much success in the past.My brother is a half hour drive from my house. I called universal and explained the problem and they said they could meet me the next day at my brother’s condo.Once again, I got JD The plumber I requested.He did an excellent job and tested the toilet repeatedly to ensure no leak leaks, and he took pictures of the parts of the toilet In case there was a problem .     Damian faced a mess that was totally not of his making - my condo mgmt was properly informed well in advance, but refused to turn off the water to the building so that repairs could be made in my condo. He handled it gracefully, and once I managed to get the water turned off, he quickly returned to do the repairs. He worked steadily until everything was done. In one area, he had to remove drywall, but he did it neatly and left the piece so I’ll be able to tape it back in place. I felt very comfortable with him; he was polite, well-spoken and respectful. I would definitely recommend both Damian and Universal Plumbing & Sewer. I’m so glad to have running water again!

    Damian and his colleague (unfortunately, I didnt catch the other gentlemans name) did an excellent job replacing our businesss hot water tank, which had been leaking through the ceiling and causing significant damage.     Boy did I get lucky when I found this company! I bought a piece of property and the inspection uncovered the sewer lines had shifted. I called several different plumbing and sewer line companies and did not like what I was hearing as I felt most of them were scammers just looking to be of my money. My last call was to Universal and somebody was watching after me. The process from getting a quote to completing the work was painless , and professionally done. The crew the company sent out was superior and the work they did was better than anything I could’ve expected. I cannot say enough good things about this company. If you have any type of drainage, sewer or plumbing problems I highly suggest at least you give this company a call.

    Chris C came out and he was really nice! He helped with water dampness coming up from a couple of drains. All I could see were huge $$$$ signs with this type of work. Not the case at all.     Great experience with Universal Plumbing. Discovered major sewage pipe rotting out and received several bids to repair. Was impressed with Universal and Tony walking me through recommendations. Went with them and they were fast on the repair replacing about 100ft of pipe. They spent time cleaning up after done and we really appreciated all of their support!     Where do I begin? We had such a mess, we could not use our sinks tubs or toilets. The first day I called in they were able to get someone out immediately (Thank You) Chris came out first oh he was absolutely AMAZING! He explained everything to me in a way I could understand.     This is gonna be long, so bear with me. If I could give more stars I would. We could not be happier with the amazing job and professionalism this company did for us At a very stressful time, they made it easy, and actually fun. We had a very, very bad case of drain flies that were caused by corroded sewer pipes. Our whole basement had to be dug up and replaced. Our front yard also needed to be dug up and replaced. Every person we dealt with, from the first minute they answered the phone until our very last minute of the job, was over the top wonderful and they all need to be recognized for their greatness. Arthur came to do the quote and warranty work, Trisha in the office, John came out to just answer our questions in person and run through what was gonna happen, what we called the A team, Justin, Chris, Koa, Jack and chip. Adam came in to make sure everything was going great,which it was. They were polite and cleaned up everything every day they left. We can not praise them enough. So happy with every part of the job and it was a very big one. If you ever need a plumber they are the ones to call. Thank you all so much.

    Okay, let’s get this out of the way first. Plumbers aren’t cheap and no one is happy when they have the unexpected expense of paying a plumber. However, when you need a plumber, as we did recently, you’d be hard pressed to find a better company than Universal Plumbing and a better service tech than Josh. He recently unclogged a toilet for us that I had attempted to clear for weeks. Josh came in and tried for a minimum of 30 minutes before having to resort to removing toilet. Surprise, surprise, there was a cleaning brush jammed in the trap of the toilet that no one could have cleared without removing toilet. Josh was totally candid with me and upfront about what this job could entail. I will definitely keep them in mind for all future issues. Very trustworthy! Thanks again Josh.

    Look no further! This is the best company I had a pleasure of working with. Everyone I talked to: from the initial customer care call to the repair crew - were polite, professional and just very pleasant to talk to. I had an ongoing issue with my water tank. They were able to come next day early morning, assess the problem and provide all possible solutions for me to choose from, also providing guidance for the best outcome. I called other companies before. This was the only one with up from charges, being transparent about them and offering financing if needed. The repair crew was fast, polite, super knowledgeable; they cleaned the area after the installation and provided further helpful tips on how to take care of my new water tank.     Drew was very friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable. He wanted to make sure I completely understood what the issues were and the options we had to begin resolving them.     Universal Plumbing saved my home from a disastrous situation of a major sewer backup and crack in the sewer line. All the employees who were at my home for the last week were a life saver.     We called around 2:30pm on a Saturday not expecting much We actually thought we would be charged an emergency rate because it was the weekend . We were Pleasantly surprised to find out it would just be a normal charge and the receptionist who answered the phone was amazing and told us that the technician was leaving Eastpointe and she would send him a message, and he would be at our place in about 20 minutes.
