Alex and Andrea were absolutely awesome to work with. Alex, the senior tech was knowledgeable, friendly and honest. His excitement when seeing the older boiler system was definitely comforting knowing he knew what he was looking at. I had a phenomenal experience with Mike who did the walkthrough/evaluation of our needs. He explained the different options, pros and cons. He was very knowledgeable and followed up, working through pricing and options for us. There was a bit of miscommunication about rebates but when I expressed concern, Dot reached out and made everything right. From the beginning, I had heard great things about Grasshopper, but I was thrilled to see that it wasnt just hearsay, that they genuinely care about their clients and partnerships. Grasshopper corrected things they didnt necessarily have to and went out of their way to ensure we had a good experience and were happy/comfortable working with them.I cannot say enough great things about them, from the initial conversation to installation, to working through a miscommunication, they are an ideal company to work with on such expensive projects.

They sent out Tyler to do a diagnostic on our hot water baseboard system that was heating the house too much and he was excellent! He was very thorough and personable, he walking through the whole process with me there and told me everything I needed to know about the system and the issues. Then having Andrea call to confirm his diagnostic gave me some peace of mind with what we discussed. Everyone I’ve spoken to at the company has been very nice and helpful. They really seem to have the customer’s best interest at heart.

I learned a lot about the history of Grasshopper and you could tell she genuinely loved her job.Karen was very thorough and provided explanations as to what she was doing and why.The presentation of the estimate was detailed and comprehensive. More importantly it was fair. I immediately knew I wanted Grasshopper to do the installation.We set up the date and time for the installation following the review of the estimate. Truly excellent experience with this company. I called on a Tuesday, got a quote on Wednesday, and had a new furnace installed on Thursday. The other company I called couldnt even get out to me for a quote for 2 weeks. Garret and Tyler did a phenomenal job working their butts off to get me set up in one day and were extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Mike was incredibly knowledgeable and honest during the initial consultation. Price was very fair, customer service was impeccable, and work quality was outstanding.

I am in awe of the customer service I received from Grasshopper this week!!!!! I have used them before for regular service of my HVAC. But on Monday it was discovered that my hot water heater in my condo in Saratoga Springs had sprung a leak and I was not aware of it. It leaked down into the condo unit below me. I called Grasshopper immediately and they were out there that afternoon addressing the problem. The new water heater was installed yesterday. To put it simply, they were amazing from start to finish. Thank you Matthew, who diagnosed the issue and got out the same day I called. Thank you Mike, who had me an estimate within 20 minutes of Matthew calling him with the information he needed. Mike then helped me with insurance claim issues since the water heater was only four years old. He made multiple calls to manufacturer to get questions answered for me. Thank you Don for the installation and photos you took for insurance claim. There is no way you can go wrong using this company and this team. They are the gold standard of what customer service should look like!!!!

Grasshopper to the rescue again. What can I say that I have not already said. The team at grasshopper is outstanding!!! My house lost heat on a very cold night last Friday and having little kids i started to worry. I called Friday night after hours and the person that does the scheduling told me that someone would be there Saturday morning to help me out. Matt Wheeler should up right on time and just like Matt Carr he was very friendly and knowledgeable, and was quick to find the problem. He presented me with a few different options for a repair and got me in touch with Brain who was also very knowledgeable and great. Both spent a lot of time with me answering my questions and going over everything with me step by step, they even took the time to speak with my in laws who are helping me with my decision. I finally decided to go with a new furnace! I was worried that would have to wait until Monday before I could someone there to install everything. That was nice not the case. An hour later the install team should up to my house!!! They did a great job!!! Now my house is perfectly warm! I’m soo grateful for the team at grasshopper for going above and beyond to help my family!! I don’t know any other company that would get a team together that quickly on a Saturday!! But they did!!!

I have been extremely happy with the quality of service, workmanship, and professionalism of Grasshopper Heating and Cooling.I want to particularly recognize and thank Matt who started it all by responding to our service call and did an outstanding job and advised us on our options to deal with a system that was in its last leg.When we decided to upgrade our AC and furnace combo, John and Jared were the technicians who came to our house and performed the amazing work you can see in the pictures showing the AC unit before and after. Note the entry point of the piping in the house before vs after and the pedestal they put below the AC unit.The inside work was as outstanding as the work outside.I also want to thank Christina, who reached out and helped us navigate the Rebates process and who wanted to make sure we had someone to reach out to if we had any questions.I wholeheartedly recommend Grasshopper for anyone needing work done or service on their HVAC system. They are professional and offer financing options too.

THE BEST SERVICE EVER! My hot water tank was leaking water onto the basement floor and I decided to go with Grasshopper since they have such excellent reviews…and it’s all true! Mark came out and immediately assessed the issue, found the cracks in the tank, and with his 30+ years as a master plumber he knew the tank needed to be fully replaced. He patiently went over my options and got me set up for installation less than 24 hours later. The repair technicians, Jared and Blue, were exemplary in their work ethic, skill sets, quality assurance, and overall professionalism and customer service. I also made a mistake with my order initially because I thought I used gas, but actually my old set up was electric. They explained that they were prepared to install either way, and ultimately I decided electric was best for my house. They willingly went back to their supplier for an electric tank instead. Again - the confusion was entirely on my part and they were still willing to help me - same day!! It speaks volumes to their character and integrity because they were so kind and understanding about my confusion and did everything to help reassure me that they will make the installation a smooth process. I sincerely appreciate how much they helped educate me on other maintenance services they provide, beyond just the water heater, and even offered to help change the water filter in my refrigerator while they were there! Because of their due diligence they ALSO discovered and remedied an issue with my circuit for the water heater, and made another extra trip to Lowe’s to get the right fuse I needed! I couldn’t believe it! The new water tank and new copper piping is a serious upgrade from what I had before! Such a pristine job! Jared and Blue are the real deal. These gentlemen are the type of people you can trust with your home service repairs, done the right way, and they have the knowledge and personality to make you feel at ease about every step. I’m so very grateful for everything they did and please recognize them for their exceptional work! They deserve it! They say first impressions count and I was very impressed with how Connor placed a doormat at the entrance and put booties over his shoes before entering the house. He walked me through all the work that would be done and answered all my questions.Within 36 hrs of signing our contract , our new boiler was installed.Installation techs James and Ryan were both very professional and courteous. They were also very understanding with the barking of our puppy and our little old man each time they needed to come into the house!We did have a little hiccup after they left but one phone call and another technician was here to help. When our central air started acting up we called Grasshopper to see if they could come take a look. Tech Christian came and thoroughly and professionally explained his findings. We knew it was an older model and we had to replace it. Christian also took a look over the furnace, and there were grave issues to the point it would likely break down this coming winter. Christian was never pushy to try and make a sale. He showed us the physical issues proving this was necessary for us to get it all done.Christian was wonderful, stayed right through helping with the financing process which didn’t take long, and 2 days later, tech John C. and company showed up promptly as promised and did an excellent job completing it in one day! He and his techs were very pleasant, professional, and efficient. The a/c was set up looking aesthetically pleasing as shown in the photos. The most professional and polite.Uncovered the problem initially caused by another company, Schwarz. Schwarz fixed the minimum amount to leave me hanging until winter cold.Grasshopper respectfully explained that the Schwarz never touched the Navien gas system that suffered severe corrosion due to the schematic of pipes by Schwarz. Therefore Schwarz caused the corrosion and could not make a claim with Navien.I truly appreciate the clarity and sensitivity that Grasshopper techs demonstrated.

I was in the market for a new boiler for my 1950s ranch home. Karen, the technician that came to my home was excellent. She spent literally hours with me. She answered all of my questions and helped troubleshoot unique solutions for some issues I was having with the way my current system was set up.I’ve had other companies come by to give quotes and the sales rep was unable to answer any, even mildly technical questions. Everyone rep from grasshopper Ive spoken to has been very knowledgable in their equipment offerings in addition to technical expertise.I can’t speak to the installation or equipment yet, but based on my experience with the company so far, I’m highly optimistic.

Alex, the technician was absolutely wonderful! He was very friendly and very professional. He took the time out to explain what he was doing and he gave me a high five for changing my filters regularly. He explained to me the issues with my furnace even though he was doing the maintenance on the air conditioning unit. He used the outdoor water hose, and even watered my plants! Alex and I talked about my 32 year old furnace which you can no longer get parts for and explained to me what Grasshopper could offer to me. I knew I would need to replace the furnace so I decided to arrange to do it. I was scheduled for the very next day! Right this minute the guys from Grasshopper are working on it. These guys were great. The salesman (Christian) was very thorough walking me through everything. Unfortunately we needed a whole new unit and it needed to be placed on the other side of the house. Grasshopper was not only able to come the next day for the install, but they called me back later to provide a window unit so my kids were comfortable that night.While the install took longer than was originally estimated, these guys busted their tails all day to ensure that we were up and running by dinner time. Once I reached out, Connor Gifford who showed up & gave me a full run down on the options I had when I inquired about installation was the best. I reached out to family danz & the initial meeting was very quick & i felt as if they just wanted to get in & out quick. When I called grasshopper & Connor showed up, he stayed for as long as we had questions & made sure we were comfortable with our answers to our questions before he left. It was a no brainer to go with Grasshopper!Once we locked in our date for installation the company reached out MULTIPLE times to make sure we were sure on what we wanted & was ready to answer any questions we had.On the day of installation, Justin Flores & Alex Pepicelli showed up & went right to work. They even took care of a bee problem that stood in their way. They stayed for as longggg as the sun would allow & we’re very dedicated to their craft & not to mention VERY nice to my wife & kids. On April 15, 2022, I had my boiler replaced by Grasshopper. I was aware that my old boiler was getting up there in age and had a very limited time left. Alex came on a Saturday two weeks ago and diagnosed the issue. It could be fixed for a substantial amount of money(due to the part cost which was well over $1000). He was incredibly professional and personable. He did an excellent job of diagnosis and showed me issues the would inevitably be the end of my boiler in short order. Long story short, I needed a new unit. He couldn’t have been nicer delivering the sad news.Upon my recovering from sticker shock for a new unit, he and someone who works on the office side helped me with pricing and partial financing on a Saturday. The woman who I spoke to in the office couldn’t have been nicer.Today was my installation date and Aaron and Dylon came and spent well over 9 hours here with another technician Kevin, whom arrived shortly after. All three were great! They did superb work. Very clean. All three of them couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. They were here all day working. Only a very short break to stuff some food in their bellies for a quick lunch which I believe they did in shifts to expedite the installation.I will use Grasshopper again for sure. Prices are what they are right now. They did everything they could to work with me and do a quality job. These guys really like the company they work for and it shows. I can’t express enough how nice everyone I dealt with was.

I had a brand new central AC unit and hot water tank installed on June 17th and could not be more happy with the service, especially with it being the beginning of a long heat wave. Ryan & Dustin were prompt and arrived at the beginning of the time window that was provided. I was told exactly what would be done before they started. They worked extremely hard all day long and were quiet on the noise aspect (which is helpful for someone who works from home). All work was completed the same day with everything 100% cleaned up. Ryan explained everything that he did inside and how it works. Dustin did the same for the outdoor work/equipment (that he worked on all day in the sun, heat, and humidity) as well as pointed out other things that would be helpful/beneficial. Their (and Grasshoppers) hard work is so very appreciated.

This was an emergency job. I accidentally dropped a deodorant in the toilet as it was flushing, causing the toilet to plug up. They came in the AM and assessed the job giving me quotes. The gentleman was so nice. The best quote included a new toilet which I would need to purchase. I am recovering from spinal surgery and cannot lift so I did not know what to do. They not only offered to pick up the toilet, but had it installed it by 3pm the same day with no extra charge! So The installers were also great and had were so professional. They left no mess at all and took the old toilet away.

Most service guys assume women aren’t interested in how things work, but I always want to know, just don’t want to get in the way.
