I reached out to Barry back in the summer to inquire about doing some work and he came out within a few days to assess the project. He was very honest and upfront about the work and the price and we agreed on a date about two months out. He reach out sooner than the agreed upon date and asked if he could start the project the following week. I said absolutely and he was out at the house the following Monday. The project went very smooth and as it was winding down, he asked about gutters in the area of the egress windows. I told him I was going to dig out and bury a drain line for the gutters. He offered to dig the trench with his excavator on site and helped install the pipe and make the connections (all while it started pouring out).I couldn’t be happier with the work that he did, how honest he was and kept me in the loop every step of the way.I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking to have egress windows installled.

Top notch experience working with Barry and his team at Ballard and Son Construction. We had an egress window installed in our basement, and from the start Barry was responsive, timely, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He made some great suggestions for our project and we could not be happier with how it turned out. We had decided up front that we would do some of the finish work ourselves, and when the project got to that point, Barry offered advice and was even kind enough to offer up the use of some of his tools/equipment. I cannot recommend this team enough. Work is of the highest quality, prices are fair, and Barry is just a great person to work with.

Ballard and Son Construction installed an egress window in my basement apartment last week and I couldnt be happier with it! Initially, I was only putting it in to meet legal requirements for a livable space. But their meticulous installation and hand finishing work adds so much beauty and light to the apartment. The window can be opened in two ways. Like a door to escape but also angled back from the top for ventilation. The owner and installer Barry and his assistant Brian are just downright good people and a pleasure to deal with. They were even kind enough to help me finish up a couple other things at the house. And they installed the egress window as it should be done with all the necessary precautions to avoid any problems down the road. Im grateful to have found Ballard Construction as I didnt like other options out there. Highly recommend them and their expertise.

Let me first say, that I had a lot of work done at my house, and Barry is the real deal! He starts when he says, keeps to a timeline, keeps you informed, and is reasonably priced. His work is neat, and the finished product is top notch.I usually dont leave reviews, but something as involved as an egress window, potential clients need to know Barry will do a top notch job. We are beyond happy with our egress window and now safer too. If you are even considering an egress window, you should do yourself a favor and give this company a call.

I’m building a medical facility in which I am owning and operating with partners. It was imperative that the 7 egress windows we were having installed be properly installed.Ballard and Son’s came out and saved the day. They fixed another sub contractors poor installation of the 7 egress windows. These guys are worth every penny you will get a solid sound product and beautiful finish. They are experts in there field. We were on a strict time line they met that time line even though we had some hang ups. They were extra clean. In the egress window world the sub contractors are usually not clean during this application. I didn’t even have to ask these guys to be clean. Barry the owner is a man of his word and trust worthy. I will without a doubt be using them again on my next project.
