We had an incredible experience with Regency from start to finish. They were very knowledgeable about all aspects of the project from financing to construction, and we could tell that Norm took a personal interest in making sure the project was complete to specification and our satisfaction. Craftsmanship was phenomenal, and we couldnt be happier with the final result.We used them for a major remodel of our bathroom; they started by generating a design which was ours to use, even to obtain competitive quotes. Our project was complicated, and involved tearing down walls, ripping up floors, the whole nine yards. They were able to complete the job quickly, professionally, and even helped out with some unrelated repairs around the house!We would absolutely use them again without hesitation, and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor to complete a remodel.

Love the results! I had an old porch that Norm and his team at Regency turned into a beautiful, spa-like bathroom. They also remodeled my 1950s kitchen. Im thrilled with my new cabinets, countertops and flooring. Everyone who entered my home to work was friendly and professional, and the work was completed in a timely manner. I was nervous about such a large project, but Norm made himself available to answer questions and solve problems. I am grateful to have had such a positive experience.

We hired Regency to do a full tear-down and remodel of our kitchen, and they handled it expertly. Ruth in the office made sure communication was constant throughout the entire process, including through a central website where we could track selections, costs, etc., which was a big plus. The team showed up when they were scheduled and did a nice job with all the small details that add up to make the project look great. Norm handled the few surprises that popped up here or there, and made sure our vision was well executed. If you are looking for quality work, Regency is a great choice for your project.

I found Regency Design and Build on Angies list and based on my discussions with Norm and the detailed quality of the proposal he gave me, I decided to hire them for the major upgrades at my home in Solon. I live out of state, so it was important to hire a company that knew what they were doing, is ethical, honest, and loved my home as much as I did. The crew including Eli, Nicole, Mo, Charlie, and Lisa were incredibly generous with their time and TLC. Norm did a number of video calls with me to show me the status of my work and Eli took lots of pictures and loaded them to their Buildertrend website so I could view them. Nicole was phenomenal with the calendar, scheduling, follow-ups, and keeping me apprised of the job completion status and the team overall ESPECIALLY NORM went above and beyond to address my concerns and needs. Norm was also fair and honest in the pricing of change orders or unforeseen items. He took full responsibility for the performance and quality of the job his team did, addressing gaps immediately without complaining. My project was over $100k and Norm and team delivered an excellent quality job for my investment.I very rarely do reviews of companies and typically only do them when I am really unhappy with the quality of a companys job. This was different. I felt compelled to share my truth about Norm and Regency Design and Builds quality and professionalism. I will likely use them again for a future project.

Norm and the team at Regency Developers did a tremendous job remodeling the kitchen of our 95-year-old home. We did a complete renovation down to the studs which included electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, cabinets, countertops, flooring, and more. From demolition to punch-list the project lasted approximately three months. The expertise and regular communication from Norm and his team was very important to us, and we could not be more pleased with their work. We would highly recommend Regency Developers to others.

We had a fantastic experience with Regency Developers from start to finish. We used them for a complete kitchen remodel and install of new flooring throughout the first floor of our house. This was our first major renovation we had ever done so we went into it not knowing anything. We meet with three different contractors and received quotes from all of them but what Norm Muskal brought to the table was a genuine concern for our thoughts on the project and a patience with our decision on when we were ready to start it.When we decided to move forward and pick a date things happened fast and efficiently. The sub contractors that Norm hired have all worked with him before. They worked clean and were all pleasant to have in our house. Throughout the project any concerns we had were addressed fast and solutions were made to keep moving forward. We had only one hiccup with the countertops but the problem was fixed to our liking and we continued onto finish.Like any major renovation after it’s all done things will come up after the dust has settled. Norm and his team was on top of that and made a point to check in and take care of those issue fast and efficiently like usual. I would highly recommend Regency Developers for any home improvement project and use them again in the future.

We are still in love with our new and more spacious bathroom that Norm and his team completed in July 2015! And we greatly enjoyed working with Norm, Ruth, and all the rest at Regency Developers. Rather than being a big hassle, which many home projects can turn into, it was actually a fun and rewarding experience. Our bathroom was the original pink and black tile version from when the house was built in 1941. There was a small 40x40in stall shower behind the door when you entered, a toilet by the window, a vanity to the right of the door, and an old tub beside the vanity on the opposite wall of the shower. Not only did we want to refresh our bathroom, we wanted to add functionality and storage space. Norm and his team were by far the most responsive and helpful while walking us through all of our options. And they were also very patient while we obtained and compared multiple quotes from other contractors. Furthermore, they were quick to clarify any questions we had during the quoting process. Once comparing all of our options, Regency Developers was the easy choice - the quote was competitive, they were able to begin the job quickly, and we felt we could trust them to perform the work we requested. They more than lived up to our initial perception. Selecting our new bathroom pieces was a clear and straightforward process. Ruth is a pleasure to work with and keeps track of the details! The demo of the old bathroom was clean and efficient. Once the demo was complete, it was easier to see what we had to work with. The old bathroom was definitely at the end of its time. There were leaks and plumbing issues that we did not anticipate before the job began. Always open and honest, Norm worked with us to come up with a plan to resolve these issues as well as give us the additional storage space and functionality we were seeking - and all at the originally quoted cost. Along the way there were some other little surprises, but Norm and the Regency Developers team always went above and beyond to address them properly. We were always informed of the status and the next steps, and never felt like our requests were an annoyance to the team. And it was easy to incorporate any change order requests we made, with quick and clear cost updates broken out per item. Regency Developers is a group of really good people that we completely trusted to be in our home, even when we were away at work or on vacation. Our new bathroom is amazing! The quality and craftsmanship is clear. We have a new larger vanity and sink with a beautiful granite top where the old shower stall used to be. A new toilet was able to be installed 10in further back, opening up the space in the bathroom significantly. A recessed linen cabinet was installed in the wall above the toilet giving us space for towels that we never had before. A new pedestal sink was installed in the place of the old vanity. The shower was combined with the tub. We opted to refinish the existing tub and it turned out beautifully. The team installed beautiful ceramic tile around the entire tub to the ceiling and we also have a newly tiled floor. All of the plumbing hardware, shower niches, accent tile, and other bathroom accessories were installed flawlessly. Norm and his team are a delight to work with. Going into this project we knew we wanted a new bathroom, but to be honest we had no idea of the level of work and attention to detail that it would take. Norm guided us along the way entirely and provided helpful suggestions, but was never pushy or impatient with us. It is clear that he and his team take pride in what they do and realize that they are improving a family’s home, not just doing a job to make a quick dollar.

From help with the design and advice along the way communication and follow up were excellent.Everyone who worked on our basement was pleasant, professional, tidy and did a great job. We would highly recommend this company.

We had extensive storm damage to our 100+ year old 4 car garage (that was built into the side of an embankment with attic space on top and a small living space on the bottom). We had other contractors that wanted to level the whole structure and start new or just did not want to take on the project. Norm was great. He did not push for unnecessary work and thoroughly explained what needed to be done. The whole project went as planned and we were very pleased with the results. Norm and his crew were professional, clean, and responsive. We would not hesitate to use him in the future.

Regency Design + Build just finished remodeling 2 bathrooms and creating a master closet for us. We are very happy with the results of the project. The owner is honest and truly did everything he could to make sure we were happy with the results. They guided us through the design phase, which was extremely helpful and saved us from having to hire an architect. The people who came to our house were professional and respectful of our property. Even with the delays caused by the COVID shut downs, they kept the project moving along and made sure that all of our requests were met. I would hire them again, and I will recommend them to friends.

Our experience with Regency was amazing. I cant even remember if they had the best quote, but Norm from Regency struck me as the most straightforward and honest, which paid off in spades through my entire bathroom renovation.To start with, he made the executive decision to upgrade several things. One was a fan for the bath/shower and the other was increasing the height the tile went up on the walls. Neither of these upgrades cost me any money (although I would have gladly paid extra for them at his suggestion), and they must have come at quite a cost to Norms bottom line as my bathroom is gigantic. He had no reason to just hand us these upgrades, but he did anyway because, as he put it, he doesnt like to put these decisions on the customer.Another way his straightforward nature was much appreciated was the few times mistakes occurred. In one instance, the vanity was placed in the wrong spot on the wall (which, honestly, was my fault because I approved the spot), and this was fixed without any question or issue. Another way was that a cabinet came in slightly broken (several different times -- a manufacturing error and not a mistake on Regencys part) in ways I probably wouldnt have noticed unless they were pointed out to me. But Regency did point out the places where the cabinet was damaged and made sure we got a 100% undamaged cabinet. It didnt matter to them that the damage was something I may have never noticed. They wanted the job done right.When we do another renovation down the line, I plan on going with Regency again. I already told them so several times. Great work -- better than I ever expected.

Everything went well, a couple minor problems were fixed promptly. You can tell Norm is a good guy just trying to make a honest living, and Ruth keeps on top of the project like a pro! They were very helpful through the entire project, from the design to completion. Everything stayed on schedule and the work was done well and efficiently. Throughout the entire process we were kept informed of the progress and what was coming next. They were also very accommodating to changes we wanted mid project. We completely remodeled the kitchen and are very happy with the results. In addition, as a plus everyone from the staff at Regency and all of the workers in our home we’re friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Ive been going exclusively to Norm for years ever since I had a water leak in my den. He was one of three companies that I brought over for a quote and happened to walk in when a new leak had burst. He calmly helped me stem the new leak, I hired him for the rehab job, and he put that room back together exactly as it had been along with a very thorough cleanup.I call Norm and Ruth for any big jobs now because I trust them, they are excellent communicators, and they always do a top notch job.

I met with Yomo today at a house I was considering and he provided some excellent feedback and information. I want you to know that I’m very impressed with the integrity and open communication that Yomo demonstrated, and he said that honesty and commitment to the customer is what Regency Developers stands for. I want to let you know that although this house is not the right fit for me, any house that is within my budget to purchase will 99% likely need remodeling in some way (bathroom, kitchen). I would like to use Regency Developers for that remodel when I find the right house for me. I feel that I can trust your company and I am very grateful for Yomo’s analysis. It took much longer than anticipated, but not by any fault of Regency. Some cabinets were damaged on arrival and had to be reordered. It was much more important to me that I was comfortable with all theindividuals traipsing in and out of my house. They were personable and considerate. They were very conscientious about everything being done well and completely. Anything that wasnt perfect was corrected without my having to say anything. They made every effort to accommodate my preferences and concerns. Communication was easy and timely. I liked the way the finances were handled--very transparent and uncomplicated. They were careful with my money, steering me toward suppliers that would be reasonable. Overall, there was a feeling of trust that they were looking out for my interests and they knew what they were doing.

Doing a remodel during a pandemic could have been a nightmare but it was not thanks to the professional contractors that worked here. Each one arrived on time, was totally prepared and very hardworking. They cleaned up the work area daily when the job was completed. The entire staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. They worked with me from the smallest details like grout color to major decisions like cabinets, floors counters and backslash. Norm came nearly everyday to be sure all was well and I was happy. I wanted a wine rack but didnt have room for one. Norm suggested a custom build which Brett was able to construct in the pantry. How clever. I feel like Norm is a new friend who happens to be a contractor, designer and problem solver. I had a plumbing problem which was not related to the remodel. Norm solved and had it repaired which saved me lots of money. When you hire and work with Regency you become a part of a new extended family. Although my remodel is complete and beautiful I called Norm for advice on an audio installation he was so helpful. You cant go wrong hiring Regency.

Regency Design and Build is seriously the most amazing remodeling company I have ever worked with! As someone who has done several kitchen remodels in different homes, as well as bathroom and basement re-designing and remodeling, I can honestly say that I have never dealt with such an efficient and conscientious group of people. From start to finish, I knew exactly what was happening. Every day, Ruth would email me and let me know WHO was coming out, WHEN they were coming out and WHAT they would be doing the next day. The work they did for me (a complete basement demo and remodel) was phenomenal! I could not be more pleased. Norms estimate was extremely fair and did not change throughout the project, unless I wanted to add on something. I will definitely work with Regency again for any remodeling or updating needs I may have. You guys are AWESOME! Thank you!

I call the Regency team a PROtractor - because when you deal with Norm, Lisa, and their family, there is NO downside!! You feel like a part of the family - they wildly exceeded our expectations when they renovated our kitchen (during the pandemic conditions, mind you!) - and as happens with older homes like we have in the 216, there was settling and some separation which resulted in small cracks - no sooner had I mentioned it to Norm than he sent his team out to rectify everything - done cheerfully and done right!! It looked like it never happened!! We love our older homes in Cleveland Heights - as you evaluate builders and designers, be sure to call Regency Design and Build - All PRO no CON!!
