I wishI could give ten stars!!!I appreciate the honest, straightforward, to the point approach and workmanship of Tom and his team! Firstly, when Tom came to look at the job he did not come as a salesman with a whole bunch of pitchy antics. He listened to my concerns, looked at the problem areas I pointed out and then did some looking of his own at my foundation and crawl space. He then came back with what he saw the problem to be, what the best approach would be starting off and what it would take to get the job done. Let me say after contacting and receiving quotes from the other companies I was by far the most pleased and comfortable with Crawlspace Medic. The companies you’ve seen on commercials or billboards, I’ve called them and with each one it was sales pitch after sales pitch. I can not say enough about Tom’s expertise, knowledge and moral compass! They had the job done in two days and kept me informed on what was going on and provided before and after pictures. Please bring your crawlspace issues to this company if you want quality work, professionalism, no up sales, and great followup to make sure everything is done right. I have definitely been getting the word out about this company!!!

Will with Crawlspace Medic was absolutely amazing! We had standing water in our crawlspace and needed it removed. With all the rain coming we wanted to get it taken care of as soon as possible and also make sure we had a working pump. Tom from Crawlspace Medic is the real deal. I had him come over to my property to inspect and give an estimate on my crawlspace which needed some work (insulation removal, new vapor barrier, vents sealed and dehumidifier installed). Not only did he respond to my online request, almost immediately, the timeline between inspection, quote, hiring and work completion was incredibly efficient and professional (I think 1.5-2 weeks). The price was far below what I was expecting to pay for the work I asked him to do. The financing options fit my budget and were super easy to navigate. Furthermore, he was more than happy to have me periodically take a look and see how the project was progressing. His crew was polite and professional, he took care of everything. If you shop around to other places, thats fine....but youll be doing yourself a disservice because Tom is the man for your project. I feel safe knowing that the air quality is significantly improved and my home is protected from mold, moisture and rodents. I would not hesitate to hire Tom again for any crawlspace need after his superb work.

Tom and his team were fantastic! After a long search for a company that made me feel comfortable, my husband and I found crawlspace medic. Tom answered all of my questions very patiently and made sure I understood what was going on under my house. He consistently kept me informed every step of the way and was timely. I contacted Tom less than two weeks ago and him and his team came right out and installed two sump pumps, a humidifier, a moisture barrier, and treated the wood under my home. Tom provided me with a quote for things he only found necessary and went out of his way to share tips and tricks to protect my crawlspace. We have had a top-notch experience with both Tom Jackson and Crawl-Space Medic of Chesapeake. From inspection, careful review/explanation of findings, providing a detailed estimate of work, through punctual attentive installation, and subsequent warranty work and follow up.We knew we were in good hands since day one. Tom was punctual, very patient and explained what he had found during our crawl space inspection. He showed us pictures, humidity readings and was already going thru different recommendations on fixing our issue. Tom took so much time with us and made us feel like as if our own nephew was helping us. He provided a brochure and told us he will be providing an estimate later that day. Tom and his guys were outstanding! The price was very reasonable! Tom kept me informed of arrival time, what to expect, and what materials were to be used. My crawlspace is very difficult to access, but his team were true professionals! They did a fungal cleanup - Tom even checked to see if the cleaner odor was bothersome in the house, which it was not. They finished up with new moisture barrier and even repaired the already damaged crawlspace entry point. I cannot praise this group enough. Some of the best customer service Ive ever had!! Awesome experience with Crawlspace Medic! We had a huge issue with mold, gaps, and cleanup needed in our crawl space. We just bought the property and I was not able to walk in the house without getting immediate headaches and other respiratory issues. We found out the source was in our crawlspace. We got the space cleaned and encapsulated with a dehumidifier and new vapor barrier.Assessment:Thomas did an excellent job of assessing and explaining the issues and impact it was having on our air quality and home. Let us know what we needed for the current issues and future. After the job, I could immediately tell the difference!! No lie! I put in request for a crawlspace encapsulation estimate and within minutes they called me to setup an appointment and were even able to see me the same day. Everything was done professionally and they were able to show me pics and videos of the various issues with the crawlspace. Even better, they said I didnt need a full encapsulation and could instead provide a much more affordable quote for a vapor barrier that would resolve the issues. They easily could have tried to upsell me or exaggerate the problems to justify a larger estimate, but they didnt and were instead honest and gave a quote that addressed my concerns without breaking the bank.Ill update the review once the work has been completed, but given how smoothly everything went with the estimate, the integrity they showed and the great customer service, I dont anticipate there being anything but positive things to say about the work.So while I havent gotten the work done yet to review, based on my initial interactions I highly recommend Crawlspace Medic.

I went into my crawlspace to figure out what was going on with some of my HVAC ducts not blowing air, and discovered the metal duct work was exposed and falling apart, leading to severe moisture problems and fungal growth that needed to be addressed. Not sure what to do, I reached out to a few of the crawlspace foundation businesses in the area. Tom from Crawlspace Medic was the first inspector I met, and he was able to meet with me quickly and promptly to check out the issues in my crawlspace. He was thorough in his inspection and informed me of how severe the issues were, and gave me a pretty solid quote on repairs and an explanation on the hows and the whys of it all. I found crawlspace medics after reading reviews online about pipe repair in the crawlspace. I have a waterline leak in my crawlspace that im having a hard time getting repaired. I got a call Saturday morning from Tom, he came out and provided resolutions right away. While the company doesnt offer plumbing Tom did refer me to a plumber as well as an electrician. I need an electrician to install an outdoor outlet for a sump pump to keep the water from spilling over into my yard. Tom was prompt, professional, and very informative he provided me with some excellent contacts to try and get this leak repairedI would highly recommend crawlspace medics

So I called 4 different companies to get quotes and they were very very differently priced! $30k-$2k so I didn’t know what to do. One guy asked me how much cash I had to pay when I told him I would be paying cash but couldn’t afford that price 🤣 I asked my neighbors their opinion because they all used JES and said they paid what a brand new car would cost 😩 well I’m glad I called crawlspace medic before I made a final decision! They handled it all for 1/3 the price and did the same quality work that my neighbors had done! I went down that route, and then found Tom.
