This review is long over due! Da’LaRose Carpentry is FREAKING AWESOME!! After I brought my home, I did an extensive re-model. I had issues with contracting the work out to a family member, which turned out to be a nightmare. With that said I had to start over, and reached out to a friend in March for David’s contact information since David had previously done his coffered ceilings. I asked David for a quote and not only was the quote fair, he actually sent me it via email. Up until then all the quotes I received were verbally.His work on my coffered ceiling was so amazing I extended several other contracts; moldings (ceiling, baseboards and above kitchen cabinets ), trim work (all doors and windows), and installation of all 21 doors.The before and after pictures attached shows how he transformed my home that had all builder grade molding, baseboards and trim to a truly custom home at a fair price.As previously stated by other customers, David is a professional from beginning to end and is very meticulous with his work. He made my home look amazing.Da’LaRose Carpentry is definitely the way to go!! I would definitely refer Da’LaRose Carpentry. I look forward to working with him on other future projects!!

Updated:After the amazing experience we had with David and his team we called him back to do some additional carpenty work in our house, he did door frames, all the crown molding but the master piece was the wall by the stairway. I had the an idea on my head, he let me dese a few boxes and then one of his guys “co-created the wall with me” It’s unique and just beautiful 🌟Turn out just SPECTACULAR and it looks just like a piece of art on my wall. I found DaLaRose through Angies List and Dave was very prompt in responding to my inquiry. He was professional and provided references and his professionalism is why we hired him! Beyond this, he also did outstanding work in our home! He did wainscoting in two rooms as well as our two story stairwell and he also installed a coffered ceiling in our two story living room. He was easy to work with as we looked through pictures of design ideas I had and he was fantastic when making those ideas a reality. I cant say enough about Dave, we are so pleased with our experience and our house looks phenomenal!

My husband and I are extremely happy with the results. David came out and gave us a quote right away. He showed up as he said he would to do the work and left our home clean, as well as moved all of our furniture back in its original place. David and his assistant are professional and pleasant to work with. I already got quotes on the next projects that they will be doing for our home. After calling out several companies to do a full wainscoting and trim work project, David had impressed me because he was the only one who when looking at the project - thought about how he would piece together the molding pieces and took his time planning out how the wood pieces would work with the space. DaLaRose carpentry is an excellent company. David showed up and finished the work on time. Pricing was very reasonable and David was highly responsive to communications. David did 7 in baseboard moulding on a 1300 sq ft renovation. He also did trim work for 5 large windows, and 6 doors, hung 2 doors and built 5 custom transom windows above the doors in the renovation. He does not do painting or caulking and can recommend someone if your looking for this. The materials used were primed for paint. The work is high quality and you can see the perfection in the cuts because it is not caulked. If your looking for someone to do high end moulding work or light carpentry I would definitely recommend this company.

Over the past 6 months Dave and his crew have completed 3 separate projects in our house. The first is associated with the installation of wainscoting in a dinning room, front foyer, staircase and long hallway. The second and third projects were for the installation of bead board and chair rail in a bedroom, bathroom and second floor landing area. In each project the planning, layout, installation grade of materials and quality of work was outstanding. Daves labor and material pricing charges along with the time required to do the work are very accurate and extremely reasonable. Dave and his team are easy to work with, very dependable, careful to protect household items and clean up after each work day. In addition to our projects, Dave has completed similar projects with other family members. Id recommend Dave to anyone interested in finish carpentry projects.

Spend the money to get the work done right and the way you want it the first time. For the quality, I feel like I got a steal. I also got a referral for an amazing painter! I couldnt be more satisfied and ready to enjoy my master custom closet. Not to mention the value add for resale. By the way, my drawer doors would not open b/c how far the closet came out, Dave quickly solved for this and even added an extra something in the design. Im getting mid-century vibes, which I love!
