Cool Ray installed a dedicated 120V-30A circuit with conduit and a NEMA 5-30 outlet for a sauna. They were fast, professional, and did a great job. We have also had them do various smaller electrical work over the years. We are very happy with their service, and will definitely call upon them again when we have more electrical work.

Marty, James, and Chase from Cool Ray Electric recently upgraded our homes electrical system, including installing a new 200A breaker panel, EATON home surge protector, pulling permits, and running multiple new electrical drops for our gas to electric appliance conversion.We also had a few small electrical jobs taken care of a few months after. They were professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and understanding of any of our concerns.I highly recommend Cool Ray Electric for any of your residential electric or electrical repair needs.

Hire this business! Friendly, affordable, honest, know their stuff. They were 15 min early to appointment and responded quickly. They could have easily charged me so much more and I would have paid and never known better. Their focus is on the job and honesty. It’s refreshing to see a business with great morality and honest work. I cannot express how amazing their service was - been in CP for 20 years - I’ve never seen better service.

Just moved to Georgetown from out of state a few weeks ago and we loved our previous electrician. We were nervous to have to find a new honest and reliable company. Luckily we called Cool Ray and will never do business with anyone else ever again. James has come out for a few projects now and is like the nicest guy ever. He helped install our Tesla charger and it cost us over $1000 less than some of the other quotes we got. Requesting an appointment is easy and the service is timely. Highly recommended 11/10. I highly recommend Cool Ray Electric! Cool Ray did some extensive work at my house, including 2 full panel replacements and replacing all 240 aluminum circuits with new copper wiring, proper disconnects, and outlets where needed. All I can say is wow, these guys really exceeded my expectations.James and Chase are friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and respectful. James paid extra attention to the details for me and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was installed nicely, up to code, and up to my standards. James was happy to answer any questions that I had and never made me feel like I was bothering him.Finding good contractors like this is hard! I moved from Houston last year where I had a list of contractors that I loved, so finding a company that I trust is important to me. I google searched for hours, probably talked to 6 different companies, and got 3 different quotes. Some guys never called back, one was outrageously priced, and one guy I just didn’t get a good feeling from.Cool Ray checks all the boxes: reasonably priced, great work, and friendly, honest employees! The team from Cool Ray was awesome - they installed 3 lights and repaired my doorbell. One (probably two) of the lights was a pain to install and they were so helpful in identifying what would make it look the best and getting the job done all in one day. They were so fun to be around and they genuinely liked what they were doing and I will definitely be using them again. They showed up promptly, got everything done quickly, and were very professional!

At a time when I was receiving steep four figure quotes for some emergency repairs following the 2023 winter storm, Cool Ray came through in a big way.Scheduling the assessment was easy. Marty was incredibly accommodating of my availability and his repair estimate was so affordable, I hardly believed it was possible - but sure enough, James and his brother were out here the next day and the work permitted and inspected before they took off just a couple hours later. Big thanks for helping to get the power turned back on at my house. Yall were the light at the end of a long and very dark tunnel.

I needed a 240V outlet added to my kitchen for a new electric range/oven and got quotes from 6 different electicians. Marty was willing to come out and evaluate the situation, came up with a great solution to minimize the amount of sheetrock repair needed, and explained exactly how they would do it. On top of a great first impression they also ended up having the 2nd lowest quote out of the 6 (slightly more than the lowest but a lot less than the 4 higher quotes). I decided to give them a shot and was not dissappointed! James and Chase came out to do the work and were friendly, professional, and did a great job! Based on my experience and research I will use Cool Ray for all future electrical work and will recommend them to anyone else who needs electrical work done!

We had cool ray install recess lighting throughout our main floor as well as add a few lights, outlets and eventually even did an entire home refresh package updating all of our switches and outlets throughout our newly purchased and newly renovated home. They worked efficiently and provided high quality service. We honestly couldn’t ask for better service. We hired several contractors the last several months, and the one we most recommend to all our friends is cool ray. We started as their customer and became their friend. I am very happy with the service received by Cool Ray Electric. They are professional, polite and personable. The owner, Marty contacted me quickly to schedule service and the service team arrived as promised (wearing masks).They worked efficiently to track down the issue that caused three rooms in my house to be without power and in the process corrected an unsafe connection in the attic that was made during a old remodel that was not part of my current electrical problem. Cool Ray Electric also gave me a warranty on the work done! I will definitely use them in the future. Thank you James and Chase for doing such a great job!

I subsequently revised the scope of it, he was quick to revise the quote. And he quickly got me on the schedule.Wes and his associate (regrettably did not get his name... nice guy) came out and did the job in short order with excellent results.Im extremely satisfied. Cool Ray is my go-to electrician henceforth. Theyre great people who do great work.

I cannot say enough positive things about Cool Ray Electric. They answered their phone, got me scheduled for 30 minutes later and actually showed up on time. He ran a diagnostic, confirmed what the issue was and told us what next steps are (it was a power company issue, not one he could repair) and was extremely professional, friendly, cordial and just all around wonderful. I cannot recommend them enough for their amazing, professional and reliable service!

I respect this company so much. I had ADT come out and one of their technicians messed up a few things in my home. I called this company to see if they can get it fixed. They came out and did a run through and got things going. They came back out the second time and had it fixed right away. Loved how experienced they are and how passionate they are at getting me problem fixed!! I will definitely call them back for future electrical work.

Installed power to my shed and installed an outside shed light. Check flickering of Kitchen LED. Changed out front door light fixture. James and Chase did an awesome job.
