Weve used Cedar Park Electric several times and have always had a great experience. Recently, the employee that was assigned to our job ended up leaving the company after he finished our lighting but before he finished the drywall. It was difficult communicating with this ex employee but when I contacted Johnny, my project was completed immediately. I really appreciate him and Cedar Park Electric. Fast, efficient, professional, courteous, friendly. I called to have them come out and diagnose/fix a breaker that kept tripping, and to install an outlet in my pantry. After talking it over with Blake, I ended up having him install a whole-house surge protector at the main supply breaker box as well. Blake did everything super-efficiently, and effectively. Such a great experience. I had a different company with a fancy commercial come out to fix a doorbell. They charged me an outrageous fee and then a few months later my doorbell was again not working. Called another company to come out and do the same and also change a light in the kitchen. They asked me to send a pic of the kitchen light and never got back. Then I found Cedar Park Electric and the reviews were great so I called and they came out the next day, fixed my doorbell, installed a dimmer and a ceiling fan all for half the price of the non-fixed doorbell from the original company. I called them back out again this week to replace the kitchen light that didnt work (David had told me what to buy on the original trip). And now Im back up and running. Would definitely recommend and will use in the future.

After a fiber internet installation gone wrong, Cedar Park Electric was there for me in a pinch. I work from home, so having internet was an utmost emergency. I called on a Sunday without realizing they were closed. Johnny, the owner, promptly called me back and scheduled an emergency visit. I was blown away. You just dont see that level of attention for customers nowadays.Blake was out within 10 minutes to fix the issue and even troubleshot a few other issues I was having around the house, all within an hour. You could really tell he was an expert and passionate about the craft. I mean, the guy used to work on wiring up rockets lol! He quickly and efficiently addressed the concerns I was having around the house, and quoted me a more than fair price to get them fixed, should I decide to hire them again. I think I definitely will.All in all, I highly recommend Cedar Park Electric to anyone needing any handyman electrical work done. Nowadays it is so hard to find down-to-earth businesses that prioritize customers over profit. Give these guys your business and you will not be disappointed.

I ended up calling them because 5 outlets in my master bathroom stopped working suddenly and nothing I did, including replacing two of them fixed the problem. Blake saved me the cost of coming over by explaining the possible reasons for the malfunction and ultimately helped me fix the problem over the phone. I couldnt be happier. Very Professional experience from Johnny Morris. Does good honest work. Used him again for my door bell not working. I have Ring and it stopped working. I spent hours speaking to Ring. Johnny sent a guy out the next day. Replaced my transformer and door bell chime. Now it all works perfectly! Was not working for a month. Wasted time talking to handy men who said it was a 2-3 hour job. CP Electric did it in one hour.

Owner Johnny came out with his team and they checked all our breakers and wires and tightened them, checked our attic for wire issues, and put in a outdoor house surge protector. The cost was reasonable, especially since we came out same day. They were also very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend CPE for any work you need to have done, or for a second opinion since he was very honest and open about what we needed to do and what could wait and what was unnecessary.

If I could give CPE six stars I would. I needed the source of a short traced and six outlets replaced. A company Id used previously handed me an estimate SIX times the amount CPE charged--and they were done in an hour.Terry and David were not only extremely competent, but they were friendly and professional. I want to hang out with these guys.If you go elsewhere, even some of those other highly rated companies, do yourself a favor and get an estimate from Cedar Park Electric, too. Youll be shocked at the difference.

Johnny solved an urgent problem other electricians could not. It was a $225, same-day fix. That may sound pricey, but Im all set. The problem is I ordered a wall microwave/oven combo for my kitchen after my oven died. The new oven requires 32 amps and my oven only has 30. The Best Buy guy assured me that it would only trip the breaker if I was using both at full power. Hello holiday troubles. The oven was being delivered this afternoon and I started calling electricians first thing in the morning to see how I could get more amps. Johnny responded and offered to come look at the breaker box right away. He was able to get me to 35 amps with a new breaker, within code and very safe. Three other electricians told me over the phone that the job would require tearing out sheetrock and labor would be a minimum of $1000.

Our old stove used 30 amps, so We needed a 50Amp installed in our Braker Box and all that entails and he put in a whole Home Surge Protector. He was at my House 90min after I first called him! He was reasonably priced which I appreciated very much! I was so struck by how He explained everything throughly..so professional and nice! Do Yourself a Favor... I have had Cedar Park Electric out to the house multiple times. The house has Aluminum wiring which requires special handling. The issues were mainly driven by screw ups by previous do it yourself owners. Johnny and Terry were great to work with. They are highly responsive, often available the same or next day. The are willing to work with you. The quality of the work seems excellent And Terry and Johnny are fun to listen to while working, they clearly have been working together for many years and have a fun banter. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Didnt seem to be the breakers, so I called around desperate for someone to fix before the weekend. Johnny told me what to do myself and it was so easy and worked! I needed some work done in my garage (add and move outlets, move light switch, bring previous work up to code). Johnny and David came out the same day I called to take a look and give me an estimate at no charge, and was able to schedule an appointment for the following week to complete the work. Other places I called wanted to charge me something like $80-100 just to give an estimate and were not available to actually start the work until at least a couple weeks out.David came out the following week on time and was very knowledgeable and explained to me all the work he was doing and how everything was wired. It turned out that there were two breakers controlling different parts of the garage (I previously thought there was only one), and the previous wiring had not included GFCI protection for all outlets, which is a requirement for garages now. David was able to complete all the work in one day, and everything looks and works great now!The price also seemed very reasonable considering the amount of changes I wanted done, and there was no upcharge on materials. I would definitely recommend Cedar Park Electric and will likely be using them again in the future.
