We needed electric work done at the last minute, and CK Electric was here for us. They initially didn’t have any availability, but we asked them to call if anything changed. Not even an hour later they called back and sent Drew and Freddie over right away. They addressed our issue in addition to a few extra items in one trip. They were courteous, professional and efficient, and we’ll definitely be calling them back for any future electrical needs.

Called CK Electric to fix an issue my refrigerator was having tripping my GFI outlets and converting a dryer outlet from a 3-prong to a 4-prong. Drew and Freddie solved both of them in a timely and professional manner. Highly suggest using CK Electric and Drew/Freddie!2024/07/26 Update:Drew/Freddie came out again to troubleshoot an open neutral issue as well as perform other miscellaneous tasks. I cant say enough good things about them! The staff is great as well! Some of the pricing and offerings have changed so Id call ahead to make sure youre not surprised when you get your bill if youre a repeat customer. I still highly recommend CK Electric and I will continue to use them in the future.

We had such a positive experience with the recent work. Drew and Connor answered the call about a kitchen light repair. We now have a beautiful new light that was efficiently installed and looks gorgeous. While here we talked about installing three ceiling fans. Drew and Connor were able to get that done same day! And being in an older home it wasn’t just a quick deal. Plus, they left everything clean. Thank you so much for your hard work and eye for detail.

Our house settled so much that the underground power lines pulled out of the meter box. There was shorting and arcing and could have started a fire. This happened at 8:00 PM. I called Chris at 7:00 AM. By 8:AM, Chris and Mark were here, hard at work. Our house was built in 1972. It has a mix of aluminum and copper wiring. Due to the extent of bringing the house up to code, the meter box and two breaker panels had to be replaced. An external emergency cut off had to be installed and whole house surge protection system had to be installed. They had to install 8 foot grounding rods as well. I asked for a third ground to be installed in my workshop also.All this work was done by 6:00 PM. More importantly, for the exact amount of the quote. Other electrical companies would have charged $100, just to come out to estimate the job. Then work would not start fo another week. Or so. And, the work would take two days or more.After the work was completed, Chris and Mark cleaned the work areas to perfection.I am an aircraft mechanic and as such, have the highest standards for any work performed. Chris and Mark exceed aviation standards. I have asked them to install a whole house standby generator. I know the bid will be fair, so whatever it is, we will have CK Electrical do the deal.Thanks to Chris and Mark, as well as the helpers!!!

We needed to a 200-240 VAC Dedicated Circuit, 50/60 Hz, 30 Amp, Single-PhaseReceptacle Type: NEMA L6-30R/Hubbell 2620-A, 3 wire, two pole twist lock receptacle at our warehouse(PakSouth Dallas). Mark came in and mapped out the area and gave us a very reasonable quote without trying to complicate things unlike the other guys we had come in. Once I accepted the quote, he showed up and executed what he promised! Had me test everything to make sure I was satisfied. Made the entire experience easy and accompanied with great customer service. I will highly recommend CK Electric and will most definitely use them again. 5 stars all the way! Thanks again Mark!

I called them at about 1:30PM about an issue with my dryer that I’ve had since moving in and they were out by 4PM same day. When I tell you this company is amazing, trust me on this. I decided to go with them based on all the great reviews. I called, left a message and got a text not too long later (I much prefer a company text me as I’m usually on work calls and have a hard time calling back during business hours). The person texting me was so nice and informative. The guys showed up right on time and immediately started working. They were informative and so kind. The price was extremely reasonable and they even when above and beyond to help out with other things I needed, like adequate grounding, without an additional fee. It is so hard to find a good, honest company these days but I will absolutely be a returning customer. Do yourself a favor and don’t go with any other company for your electrical needs. I cannot recommend them enough.

I needed some electrical work done and asked my AC guy (who is amazing) for a recommendation. They did not hesitate: CK Electric was their immediate answer. I contacted the company, and they came out the next day to estimate. They scheduled the work and were prompt and professional, but that is only half the story.The mark of true professionals is how they respond when there are problems. Given that my home is almost 50 years old, there were some irregularities in the way one of my circuits was wired. When they put everything back together, there was an issue that I did not discover until they had already left. I texted them, and they turned right around and came back.They could not fix the issue that day, but worked quickly to get us back on the schedule, and they just buttoned everything up this morning. A good contractor performs well under ideal conditions, but a GREAT contractor rises to the occasion when unexpected (and arent there always with these older homes?) issue comes up. I could not recommend them more strongly!

We had multiple problems due to a lightning strike across the street that cause numerous problems in the house. We have used CK Electric for many years. The two men who came out were helpful, courteous, and explained what they were looking for a doing all along the way. The costs associated with the work was reasonable and in line with similar work by others. We will continue to use CK Electric in the future.
