    Im so happy with my experience with Southport Home Service. Three years ago they installed a new furnace/AC unit. The professionalism and competence of the installers was very apparent. Today Phil came to service my unit. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in addressing my problem and went above and beyond by explaining principles of how to get the best out of my unit. I thought the price was reasonable and the service far exceeded my expectations.

    Jackson and Jacob did a great job on informing me of potential issues, and educating me on heating system. They solved the issue I had with one of my bedrooms becoming extremely warm, and the other the opposite. Turns out there was a simple no cost fix, and they didn’t try to sell any unneeded services, outside of the previous service agreed on. They did inform me that a yearly checkup/tune up is a good habit to keep, and broke down what that entails and the cost. Their Tune up packaged saved me from paying for individual services needed to maintain my older boiler, and they even have a monthly low cost plan options, that lets me forget about a yearly service fee. They’ll contact me when the service is due, then perform the service at no additional cost, from the accumulated low monthly payment of $10-20 over the year. Overall they were friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, and fair. I definitely recommend using them for home heating services.

    One of the best experiences I’ve had with a repair company in a long time. The entire process was smooth and user friendly.1. The website was easy to use and the live chat feature to schedule a visit was smooth.2. The text notification when my plumber was on his way was very useful. It even included a photo which provides a very human element.3. The plumber was a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman. He wore covers on his shoes, talked through the whole process and provided great insights on my situation with all the possible outcomes.Overall, I was very impressed by the services provided. I will certainly be contacting them for any future needs.

    The employees are awesome from the folks answering the phones to the actual furnace technician. Phil, who was great at diagnosing my furnace with a non common issue.In the same appointment I had another issue with my other furnace that went out the day before he was showing up. He fixed that too.He explained and showed me what he was working on the whole time.Great company to get the job done right!

    Jacob was prompt, courteous, and professional. He completed the maintenance of my furnaces gave me immediate feedback as to the status of the units. When the flame sensor Reading was slightly abnormal, he went over this with me in detailed fashion and gave clear recommendations. He even swapped out another sensor. I’ve had to see if the unit changed. I am happy with the service he gave me today.

    Phil Lloyd arrived as soon as possible during an emergency failure of my furnace. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with ease. He was polite, professional, and down to earth, making it comfortable to have him in my home with my family while he fixed the furnace. The HVAC system in my home is working and there is heat now!     Our furnace died last Saturday and we called Southport that night. They answered immediately and had a tech out within two hours. The tech was very knowledgeable and friendly and diagnosed the problem immediately. Unfortunately, getting a new furnace was my best option. By noon on Monday the new furnace was in and working great. These techs were also knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I highly recommend Southport for your heating needs

    I had a leak under my kitchen sink. Called Southport and the total understanding and compassion and urgency I received on the phone was terrific! They scheduled a technician and communicated and updated me constantly. I truly appreciated the text from Justin which gave me his photo on who I would be expecting.     Max and Mauricio were very professional and very nice! They did a phenomenal job and we are really pleased with how everything turned out. It always sucks to have to replace expensive items for your home but they both made it a very positive experience.     The heat stopped working in my rental property, and Southport Home Services was able to send a technician out the same day. They were accommodating with the tenants availability and contacted us both when the technician was on his way. Upon arrival, Mike (sorry if this isnt who it was; its who the email said was on the way!) inspected, diagnosed the problem, and called me to get verbal approval to proceed. Once he completed the work, he notified me and answered all my questions. I will recommend and be using Southport for future needs.

    Nathan was on time, knowledgeable and courteous. He was able to come to the house promptly for an estimate on a new A/C. We ended up not going with Southport. They did make an attempt to match the estimate I decided to go with and brought their price down by $700 switching out a duct cleaning promo for the money off. As a customer, I would have appreciated this option up front and not only after I informed them I was going a different direction.

    The intake customer customer service was AAA+ with setting up a quick appointment. Then, Mike DAlie the Technician, he was even excellent in explaining and putting the furnace back together and confirmed it was safe to use. Mike was understanding on what I needed to know about the furnace. He ensured the furnace was running and pointed out potential issues. I am happy 😊. Five Star customer service on this super cold Day I look forward to call this business in the future. I wish I called them first before the other business who seemed inexperienced.

    Our water heater failed unexpectedly and flooded the basement. We called Southport Home Services on a Friday at 1:30 and by 4:30 our brand new water heater was installed. We are very appreciative of their fast service and professionalism!

    We were having issues with our sewer drain clogging for quite some time. Andrew, our technician came out to help us resolve this issue and was very knowledgeable, kind, and efficient!     We have used Southport for years for both our heating and air conditioning needs. They are a class act all the way. The staff answering the phone lines is always pleasant and knowledgeable; someone calls or texts when the technician is on the way, with the techs name and approximate arrival time. If its a text, a picture of the tech accompanies the text message. The technicians are always polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. On the rare occasion when a reading or something might stump them, they get immediate support with a phone call to a colleague. They always wear shoe coverings so they dont track anything into the house, they are happy to explain what they are seeing and finding, and what it means to your system -- for both good and bad! And, they have all your account information handy on their iPad so they can go over the charges with you and then email them to you immediately after you sign. Southport is highly professional, very reliable, and trustworthy. We recommend them highly, and without reservation.

    So heres my story: a 22 year old furnace expires at 10PM and not worth fixing. I call Southport at 7:30 am the next day and ask for a price (installed) of a specific Carrier model. They call me back 20 minutes with a rough estimate, then followed up with an exact price at my house one hour later. (and the original estimate nearly matched the quote, hence these guys know what they are doing !!!) Then the hard part, I ask for installation the same day because of the weather forecast. Somehow they did it and really I like this new Carrier furnace. They will be my go to HVAC company going forward. Bill J.

    Great experience start to finish with Southport. Jacob did a great job diagnosing the problem. Nate was a pleasure to work with to get a new furnace system picked out. Max and Geo installed the furnace and were professional and polite. Had one small snafu with the blower speed, but Southport made sure to have someone out the next day and Mike quickly remedied the problem.Another issue arose outside of anyones control, but Southport stood behind their quotes and gave me a customer focused offer. Would use southport again if the need arose.

    I needed a plumber in an emergency situation. I made several calls to plumbers I had used previously but none of them were willing or able to help me. Out of frustration, I called Southport. They sent a plumber to my home in less than an hour. The young man quickly diagnosed my problem, and the needed repair was performed quickly. Honestly, I was not thrilled with the product he installed, as the same brand failed and caused my problem. However, from a customer service standpoint, Southport did an excellent job!     Air conditioner quit cooling. Phil Lloyd the repairman from Southport arrived on time. He had an idea of what the problem was from the info I gave him before he arrived. He explained everything he was doing, what he was testing and even showed me the readings on his testing equipment and what it all meant. He put in a new capacitor that wasnt working and had us back in business in less than an hour. He even adjusted the blower fan speed on the furnace that was running a bit higher than needed.Fantastic friendly service!!! Thanks Phil.

    I wasnt here when Alex came, he got here earlier than we anticipated which was ok, he fixed the problem under the kitchen sink explained to my husband what the problem could be and if theres any problem call and they will have to put a longer piece in which is fine I wasnt ready for any major work to be done.     Our air conditioner stopped working so we called Southport first thing in the morning, and they sent Tyler H. to run a diagnostic on our unit that afternoon. We could not have had a better customer service experience working with Tyler. He was great! Explained everything that needed to be done and fully disclosed all costs before proceeding with any work. Additionally, he recommended a Southport project manager contact us to give us options and prices on a unit replacement as our unit is quite old.I would highly recommend Southport to friends and neighbors and will definitely buy our next unit from them.

    Andrew was professional and knowledgeable. He offered estimates on services before repairing, which allowed me to choose what I could afford. He replaced the strainer assembly and piping under the sink, tightened the faucet, hooked up the dishwasher, and removed the garbage disposal. He also replaced the basement sink faucet and provided an estimate on additional work. All work was done quickly and everything is in working order. He also cleaned up the areas and removed all garbage from the job. Thank you for great service!

    Had a new system installed in late 2022 and finished in early 2023. We were assured our new system would not need to be zoned. We battled through the summer of 23 with multiple visits to make our upper level cool. Each time, we were told, Its normal to be a few degrees warmer than lower level. Last week, we had hot and humidity and turned the AC on. We had our t-stat set to 72° and our upper level was at 85°. Way higher than a few degrees. I have messaged and called numerous times asking what Southport is going to do to make things right for us with NO response or action. I dont want to spend 1000s more to upgrade to a zoned system when weve already spent 14k on a system we were told would already satisfy our needs. Southport, the ball is in your court to make things right.Update: A few weeks ago, we came to an agreement we could all work with. A zoned system was installed, and the entire HVAC system was dialed in. During the last heat wave, we started the system up. Within 45 minutes, the entire home was at a very comfortable level. Southport Home Services did make things right

    This is the first time using Southport Home Services. I was impressed that it was less than 24hrs from time I called to have a repair done to the time that they showed up. The plumber was transparent about the repair and cost. Was able to quickly fix and very friendly. Will continue working with them.

    Due to a failing AC, I contacted Southport to get an estimate to replace that and my older furnace. Alex came by and gave me an acceptable quote. Southport installed a new Carrier AC and furnace. Alex claimed to be the project manager and would stop by during the installation, which he did not. He also noted that he would stop after the install with a thank you gift, which he did not. The Southport technicians did a good job on their one day install. We immediately needed the AC, which works fine. The furnace was never tested and when it was needed on a cold day, did not work. I called Southport the next day and a technician came out to fix a connection that was missed in the furnace.Southport installed an Ecobee thermostat and left no user documentation.The Carrier blower motor is very loud. I was not informed about that from Alex. I would not recommend the Carrier because of that.Southport has supported their installation to my standards and I would recommend them.

    We recently contacted Southport to look at our 11-yr water heater which had started to leak. I requested a service call to provide a quote on Sunday via their easy to use website and received a call at 7 am the very next morning to let me know that a technician would be here within an hour! Andrew was very knowledgeable and provided us with estimates for a new water heater and a tankless option. We opted to go with the tankless option which will save water & energy - plus we can take advantage of a tax credit. Southport had installed a tankless system in our prior house 15 years ago which we loved! There was always hot water even after multiple showers, laundry and dishwashing. Southport showed up early a few days later to remove our old tank and install the new tankless system. The installation, plumbing and venting was done efficiently and professionally. I am certain that we will be enjoying the benefits of “on-demand” hot water for many years! There will be no more complaining that someone got stuck with a lukewarm shower because all the hot water was used up in this house! Thank you, Southport!

    Brandon came to the house to give a quote on a new furnace and a/c. He was very knowledgeable of his product and answered all my questions. I made an appointment for a few days later. The crew showed up on time. Explained everything they were going to do. They were very professional. After installing Dylan explained how everything worked. Helped set up the app on my phone and made sure I was comfortable with everything before he left.

    Furnace went out. Had the guys come out and look at it. Tech support for the furnace manufacturer kept telling them it was due to a bad ground. Unit turned back on somehow. A week later it went out again for the same bad ground. Re-ran a ground from the breaker box didn’t fix the issue. Ended up being a bad circuit board. Both techs that came out were great. Would recommend.

    For reference: I got a new water heater and some duct work done.Service: Absolutely impeccable. I was not sure what I would get as this was my first time working with Southport but all the technicians were polite and friendly. They went above and beyond and left the area better than when they arrived. They even worked around my two cats and made sure none of them made the great escape.The products: Southport stands by their products and recommended the best water heater for my situation and installed the ductwork to last and fit my house. I was speechless when I went down stairs and saw the work they did. I couldn’t believe it. Everything was brought up to code and done with care. If anyone were to ever ask me who they should go to for HVAC or Plumbing work I would confidently tell them southport!
