Curly’s Big Blade is our NUMBER ONE go to whenever we have plumbing issues. We use them for both business and residential. They are amazing and we can not say enough good things about them. Sorry my bad as I meant to post this a week ago Monday, Nov 20, 2023. On Sunday the 19th is when the sewer backed up, just as I was finishing laundry. (Timing is everything.) Two emergency calls to my local plumber here in Crowley went unanswered and first thing Monday morning I called a second plumber. Unfortunately they were not able to assist so they recommended Big Blade. I called them at 8:07 AM and they scheduled their plumber to be out within the hour. True to their word they arrived at 9:07 AM. (Security camera time stamp :) ) They ran that rotor thingy (gotta love these technical terms! LOL) all the way out to the city portion of the line, a good 60-75 feet. 30 minutes later they were done and on their way. What caused the clog? Dont know as nothing was caught in the claw. So its as much a puzzlement to them as it is to me. As this was 2 years 9 months after the last backup (I bought the house in Dec 2020 so that backup was during the big freeze of 2021), they recommended having the line cleaned every 2 1/2 years or so, as a preventative measure. Thank you Christopher and Charles!! I definitely recommend this company. Two thumbs up!!

I called Big Blades on Monday afternoon at 11:30 and by 12:15 they were here & to remedy my plumbing problem. Mason and Sebastian were quick, informative, & courteous. It only took them about 20 minutes to unclog the kitchen drain. They cleaned up behind themselves before they left. Big Blades Plumbing is awesome & I will call them every time I have a plumbing problem.

Our experience with Big Blade Plumbing has been top-notch. Customer service is excellent: professional, friendly, and responsive. We contacted them for a second opinion/estimate for an outdoor leak locate & repair after getting a hefty estimate from another company. The office reached out to me within the hour after I filled out the contact form on their website. Shortly thereafter, one of their supervisors, Ryan, called me to get an idea of the problem, and we scheduled a time for him to come by. He came out and quickly found the leak, gave us a very reasonable quote, and was able to do the repair on the spot. He literally saved us THOUSANDS of dollars. I called a company based on a coupon and they were not able to resolve it and wanted to charge me over $1,000 for a hydro jet service. So glad I didn’t get taken advantage of.I was referred to Big Blade by Platinum Plumbing. Called Saturday evening and was assured I didn’t need a hydro jet service and they would take care of me. They come out Monday and what do you know, they fixed my clogged sink without using hydro jet.So thankful for honest companies! Not long ago I had a totally clogged sink/sewer line. I called the plumber I usually call, and they didnt have the right equipment. Gave me Curlys phone number. I called and they were here on the double. It was thirty minutes, tops. It was a stubborn clog and it took them a while but they cleared the pipe and things have been fine since. Nice guys, clean, not the cheapest but not the most expensive, and they got the job done. I believe it was Anthony who came out. Hes a smart feller. I still like my normal plumber so the next time I need one it will not be easy to decide which to call.

Our foundation company dropped a house on us, literally. They cracked some of my plumbing and REFUSED to fix it. So we were down to 1 toilet. We called around to get different quotes. Most people were telling us they would have to tunnel in. 7+ thousand. We had big blade come out. And at the end of the day we paid closet to 3k. Yea it still hurt. But we have our bathroom back. They got there when they said they would. Cleaned up after themselves. It was much less painful then our other options.

Couldnt be happier. As it usually goes, Friday night I come home to hear a water leak under my house. I called another company, but per their policy, they would only replace the entire cold water system, not repair. We are talking the difference between $500 and $3700! It probably could be replaced, but I cant afford that right now.Anthony came to my house mid-day Saturday and worked until just about dark. We were flooded, so he set up a pump, and came back Sunday to finish. It didnt take him more than 1/2 an hour to make the repair. Thrilled with the repair at a cost I could afford, but mostly extremely happy with Anthony. He was very friendly, explained what needed to be done (and did it at the price quoted), professional and immediately put me at ease.I will definitely be calling Curlys Big Blade next time I have plumbing needs! My house 3br 2ba was built on a slab in 63, the entire cast iron sewer system was rusted out, falling apart and just plain broken. Chase and his Alvin came out and bid the job well under the three other bids that received for the work which involved a 42-foot tunnel! Blade Plumbing replaced my entire sewer system under my slab, start to finish they did an outstanding job on time without a hitch.. I have called this service twice on an emergency basis. Both times they were at my home within 2 hours, after hours. They caped of the leak and had water to the rest of the house for the night. Both times work was completed quickly and professionally within a few days. The second time I had a small issue with how they finished the work. They were very responsive in sending a supervisor to remedy the problem. I recommend Big Blade 100%.
