Rahmann is simply excellent. They do great work in all areas, especially sensitive to older homes that need major work like repointing, new windows, and roofing but they have wonderful specialist craftsmen like iron work repair and carpentry. Only the most wonderful things to say about the quality of their work, the incredibly good pricing and the curtesy of all their workers. A joy to work with and how often do you hear that about contractors in NYC??? Rahmann is the real deal!

We first hired Rahmann Contracting in 2015, to repoint and repaint our four-story townhouse façade, windows, doors and ironwork, front and back. They did a professional job (with hanging scaffolding). Many years later, it still looks great.After that job, we asked them to excavate and replace a long drain pipe in our back yard and resurface the yard with bluestone and a granite perimeter curb. Once again, the job turned out great and still looks wonderful.We also needed our stone cellar walls repointed and waterproofed, with additional waterproofing and support on the foundation walls. Structural support of the cellar columns was also required. Again, a thorough, professional job.Rahmann also did interior site preparation in connection with our recent installation of new furnace/air-conditioning units.We also had them remove, repaint and re-mount the exterior shutters on three floors and do additional exterior painting.We always find all the company’s workers to be friendly and professional. They work to a high standard and there is always active supervision and frequent on-site management by Mohammed Hye. He aims to please. We would definitely hire Rahmann again.

Rahmann Contracting has done several major jobs on our home, (4 story old brick townhouse with one free-standing wall) starting with repair of the front cornice using a hanging scaffold in 2012, and then repair of the rear cornice in 2013. In 2017—2018 they did a structural repair involving the joists in the basement, and then complete renovation of the bathroom in the floor above where the joist repair was done. We have been very happy with the result. Recently they did a repainting of the rear cornice and also successful waterproofing of front area in our basement when water was coming through the foundation wall. Mohammed Nye always responds quickly by phone and email. His team has also been great to work with. I recommend him very highly and will definitely call on him again next time we need work to be done.

Rahmann Contracting did work on our home in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. They repaired brick work, pointed the side our our building, and redid a kitchen and bathroom.We were very satisfied with their work which was done in a timely and efficient manner. Mohammed Hey is responsive and responsible. His crew were the same. We would recommend them.
