I was looking for a company to remodel my shower. I needed a prefabricated shower enclosure removed and something new and more modern. S&K was one of the very few who returned my call for such a small project. We were very happy with the whole s&k experience. Everyone showed up when they said they would. Everyone was extremely professional and courteous they respected over home as if it was there own. The project had a slight delay due to some defective material. We were kept informed about the status. We are extremely happy with our new shower.If I need plumbing or remodeling services again they will be the first company we contact.

We have used S&K twice now, was referred to them by the prior homeowner who had used them for various projects. I have nothing bad to say about the firm as a whole, as they are very easy to get in touch with and Bruce has always been very quick to respond. That said, the two times we have used them for work we have not been super pleased. To avoid writing a novel I will simply mention the most recent project. We had new tile flooring installed and as a result had to have the flange for the toilet raised to accommodate the new flooring height. S&K came out did the work and all was good. Not a week later my wife was in the basement and saw water damage on the ceiling tile directly below it. We removed the ceiling tile and found the elbow-pipe right below the toilet snapped. Called them in and after inspecting was told it would all need to be replaced and was going to be charged for it. Just for the heck of it we had another plumber inspect it as he was doing a different job (the dates luckily aligned). Right away he told us it was a faulty install of the flange. He mentioned how the fact it snapped right after the new one was installed tells him it was not installed properly and the stress of the toilet being put back on was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Things happen and I am not complaining about that but being charged a pretty penny to fix their errors is not acceptable.NOTE: The owner called in and completely owned up to the error. As a result they waived the fee to fix the pipe. Of course we wish it was done right the first time but we were very appreciative to have them respond in the manner they did and as quickly as they did. Definitely made me open my mind to coming back for the next project.

Weve used S&K for several projects now. Incredibly professional, high quality work, and incredibly responsive. I called their office at 9am to request a new water heater installation, and within just a few hours, their tech was already busy performing the installation. In the current environment we find ourselves in with labor shortages, and supply chain issues, I was thoroughly impressed with S&Ks ability to respond to this project so quickly. Thank you!

S&K is 2 for 2. We had them out last year to roto-root our lateral all the way out to the road. This time the level of skill to update our piping before installing a dishwasher was over my head. Both times the professionals were polite enough to chat with me when I had questions, and otherwise did their work and got in and out. Im actually reaching out to them now to see if they want to be part of a networking group because Im planning to refer them to my insureds for plumbing issues moving forward!

I can’t say enough positive comments about S&K. I called and left a message at 7PM on my water heater, they researched the warranty on their own and were ready with a replacement plan at 7AM the next day when I called. They arrived earlier than expected and were done quickly. Installer was professional and knowledgeable and the workspace was completely cleaned after install. I’d give another star if I could!

I am so lucky to have found S+K. They were professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Another company told me I needed a new well. They replaced the pump for a fraction of the cost a new well would have been. Two companies tried to fix my outdoor water pressure with various methods. One told me I had two different wells. S+K figured it out in no time - my outside water was bypassing the pump. The price paid for their expertise was surprisingly low. Now I can water my gardens!! I wouldnt use anyone else for plumbing issues ever again. They are the BEST!!!

Rodrick from S&K came out this morning to address a leaking faucet in my garage. I was under the impression that he would have to cut out and replace the faucet and pipe from the basement. I was planning on a $500 - $1000 bill, and he was aware of my expectation. After inspecting he told me that I was doing something wrong and there was no need for work. He could have easily billed me for much more. Very honest. S&K just earned my business for my house AND my commercial office space.

S&K Pump & Plumbing is great. Weve had our drain back up a couple of times in the 10 years weve been in this house, and they were great both times they came out. They fixed the problem promptly, and did a wonderful job cleaning up after they were done. The guys that have come out to do the work were friendly and did great jobs. I will definitely use them again in the future.

That didnt work due to my schedule, so they were able to schedule me that afternoon. Their tech was courteous and professional and the work was done quickly and with no complications. I bought a house where S&K has done previous work. I’ve had them here a few times to address issues not related to the work they’ve done just clogged drains and landscaping by previous owners that put my well permit out of compliance. The technicians have been knowledgeable, professional, and got the job done. Not only recommended by the previous owners but my neighbors who have owned their houses for at least 20 years.

My well stopped working quite suddenly. I called S&K, they were out right away to diagnose the problem. They found a leak in the well somewhere. They were able to fix it within the week (I told them no rush because the home was vacant, they came back 2 days later with supplies). They replaced my entire well system. The home had a very old accumulator that we also decided to replace. They replaced the well pump, put in a constant pressure tank, and I believe replaced the pipes going down in to the well. The whole service cost $4,200 (which was below their initial quote!). Hopefully will not have to call them any time soon for any well problems, but if I run in to any, theyll be the first guys I reach out to!

We had a pump go out on us in the middle of the night, which caused standing water in our basement. Matt was able to diagnose the issue over the phone (after midnight) and came out & replaced the pump first thing in the morning. We will definitely be calling S&K again for future plumbing needs.

I would not hesitate, if you need pump or plumbing related services in Waukesha County, to RELY on S & K!

Chris is an awesome plumber! I had PJs plumbing come out originally to fix the check value noise of which they said nothing could be done. I sent Chris a couple pictures via text, he came in three days later and added another check valve and the noise is non existent! S&K did it cheaper and quicker than PJs could! Would recommend these guys to anyone!

Standard Disclaimer: I am a real, Real, REAL customer of S & K Pump and Plumbing. My reviews tend to run a bit long, as I try to give useful tips or warn homeowners of issues they might run into, as my wife and I have run into them all. I do not solicit, nor would I accept, anything of value in return for writing a review, much less a positive one.Around 2 1/2 years ago, my ever increasingly environmentally minded wife decided she wanted higher toilets in the house and they should have the low-volume flush on them, like around 1.5 or 1.6 gallon flushes. We never had any problem with drain lines backing up when we had the larger-volume flush toilet. Once we converted to the low volume flush, we had nothing but trouble.Our home has 2 drain lines that combine near the front of the house and exit to the city sewer line. One end of the house serves the half-bathroom sink and toilet, the kitchen, the dishwasher, and reverse-osmosis waste water made in the production of the purified water. The other end of the house serves an upstairs bathroom, main floor bathroom tub, shower, sinks, and toilet, and the laundry room sink and washing machine drain lines. Weve never had problems on this end of the house.The clogged drain line runs around 12 feet and then exits under the garage slab, curves slightly, and runs underneath our front cement slab and back into the house hooking into the other end line and out of the house. The drain line run is around 50 feet. The clogged end was plugged 18 months ago. Using the half-bathroom sink or the kitchen sink, Id hear gurgling in the toilet and the water level would rise in the bowl. It got to the point where the water pressure in the bowl was such that I had water seeping out from under the toilet and onto the floor. The reverse-osmosis system wastes 40% or more than the water it creates causing gurgling in the half-bathroom toilet and raised the water level in the bowl. This is now the second time we have had this problem.The half-bathroom toilet is a Kohler and it may have a proprietary fill valve and flush valve. I dont believe this toilet has flushed all that well and I dont believe we even get the 1.6 gallon flush. Well, the system got plugged up again a couple days ago. I dont use caustic drain cleaners and I tried Bio-Clean, an enzymatic cleaner, and that didnt alleviate the problem. If I flushed the toilet, the water dropped from the tank into the bowl and nothing drained. Water again seeped out from under the toilet and went farther on the half-bathroom floor than it ever did before. I decided to bail out the toilet and the tank and stop the toilet from filling by closing the water supply shut-off valve. That didnt really stop the problem, as I had water filling up in the tank again. I stuffed old towels in to sop up the water in the tank.I called S & K Pump and Plumbing on Thursday, April 4 and was told given the nuances of our house/plumbing, Brett would be the guy getting the assignment. He wouldnt be free until Tuesday, April 9. I took the appointment, and was told if that wouldnt work, S & K could get someone to me sooner, just call. Unfortunately, the problem accelerated during the evening Friday. I put in a call this morning to the S & K emergency services line. The only way Id likely stop the toilet from filling would be to shut off the main water line in the house. We already couldnt use the kitchen or half-bathroom, and I was also getting ready to shut down the reverse-osmosis water system. That would mean no drinking water. Nick got the call and came out. The line needed power snaking and felt he got the clog at the 47-48 foot mark. Clog was gone and the line drained. He turned on the kitchen sink and bathroom sink and could hear the water running down the drain. Problem solved.Here is a tip for you homeowners. Low-volume toilets dont work well on long drain runs. Clogs will happen, and itll cost to clear them out. S & K is great to work with and are always there when we needed them. Now I have a low-volume toilet to get rid of.

S&K answered, checked to see if they could move people around to come out before end of day, responded back to me with someone and was there within the hour. When my husband and I first started looking into replacing the tub in our daughter’s bathroom we were told by many contractors, that job is just too small for us or its a small job and we can’t get to it until next spring.After S&K Plumbing came out to fix our water pressure tank we decided to get a quote from them. When I called I was told that S&K Remodeling would handle that for us. I set up an appointment with Peggy and the rest is history. When she came out she listened to what we wanted and not once tried to suggest something other than that (like other contractors had). Not once were we made to feel that our almost $12K project was too small for S&K Remodeling. At the start of this project I told Peggy how skeptical my husband was of contractors. He was very impressed with S&K and said he had NEVER worked with a better one. From the scheduling (LOVED the provided worksite calendar), craftsmanship, subcontractors, and staying on quote (actually coming in under budget was a big bonus). Everyone that entered our house was very professional and treated our home with respect.
