    I had a plumbing emergency the day after Christmas, and was SO grateful for the quick response from this wonderful company. The customer service offered was great - I received update texts and emails each step of the way with very reasonable pricing and time estimates. Technician Jerry Johnson was truly fantastic, and I could not be more pleased with the repairs made.

    You really cant go wrong by hiring these guys. Weve used them since it was just John and an apprentice and the level of service, kindness and integrity has not changed. We recently met Bill for a dishwasher install and then Ray when our boiler stopped functioning. These guys are both just as kind and helpful as they can be. Really informative and want to make sure you understand the problem and can make an informed decision. Theyre super pleasant to chat with and respectful of the house and animals within. I think our cat would have been happy to go home with either of them! Weve always recommended John and now we will happily and confidently recommend Sureway.

    We’ve had numerous interactions with John Wilcox and Sureway Comfort over the past few years. The latest happened in November 2024 when our old hot water heater broke. What a disaster in the basement. Sureway was at our house within the hour with a new water heater and provided guidance with the best way to clean up. The peace of mind we have from working with John over the years is invaluable. They are always available when we need them. Five stars every time.

    Bill, from Sureway, did an excellent job repairing our Delta faucet and fixing a drain issue with our vessel sink. He diagnosed the problem and fixed both issues in no time. He also helped correct the low water flow issue on another faucet. We let both issues go for awhile and it’s amazing how well things are working. Reasonably priced, great work, helpful maintenance tips—-highest recommendation!

    Jerry and Mark from John Wilcox plumbing and heating were professional, prepared, cordial and very helpful. This was especially important since the sink top that was delivered with our new vanity did not fit. They were Very helpful in making sure the problem was quickly corrected when the new sink top was ordered and came up with a temporary solution that met my wife’s needs. I highly recommend them and will be using them again.

    I needed a new hot water heater so I called at 9:30 and they arrived at my house before 11 o’clock. I received a text with a picture of the tech that was going to be arriving at my home. Bill was very friendly, explained everything, and did a wonderful job. A great experience and I would highly recommend.

    I’ve been a real estate business for over 30 years. I’m also investor and several times a year. I need a plumber. It’s really hard to find good plumbers today. They’re all be Being purchased by large corporate companies, and in my opinion trying to charge as much as they can quite frankly ripping off the public. I called John Wilcox, plumbing on a Saturday and they were at my property on a Monday. They sent one of their best technicians Jerry Johnson. Jerry was punctual and thorough and took care of our sewer problem within an hour or so. These are my go to guys now and it’s comforting knowing there’s some honest plumbers out there.

    My last heating and AC company told me that I needed a new central AC unit. $5000-$6000.. I called the JOHN WILCOX company last February for a for a second opinion and they told me the system was fine, but they should come back in the summer when it is fully stressed. They came today, and even in today’s heat the AC unit is fine. I saved a lot of money by calling JOHN WILCOX. I am an extremely happy customer.

    Our hot water heater quit working on a Thursday, and we were desperate to get it replaced before the weekend. Our long time plumber had recently retired, so I was left to search for unknown companies that service our area and had good reviews. John Wilcox Plumbing stood out based upon their excellent reviews. I have to admit I am very particular about work on our house, cars, etc. and was a little nervous about a previously unknown company being retained for this job. I neednt have worried. My phone calls and questions were answered promptly and courteously and they were able to replace the water tank on Friday afternoon. Mark, whose positive reviews proceeded him, showed up with a new tank. He was courteous and professional and able to answer any remaining questions we had. He went to work, completed the job promptly, cleaned up, and briefed us on the new tank, making sure that we contact him if we have any additional questions or issues. We could not be happier with John Wilcox and now have a new plumber should we have further needs in the future.

    I couldnt find where/how to write a new review so Im editing an old review from 9 months ago. Simply put, these guys and girls are the best in customer service. Sherri at the office was amazing at scheduling to accommodate my limited availability. Jerry contacted immediately after scheduling to introduce himself, contacted me the day of the scheduled service and asked if he could come early. I accommodated him and he showed up promptly on time and even notified me that he was on his way. He fixed an easy problem within minutes and even offered to look at a water meter issue that Im having while he was here. This was my third time using them. They are always professional and courteous throughout, they do an excellent job going above and beyond, and theyre priced reasonably. You canr go wrong in trusting your heating or plumbing issues with them.

    Our home warranty failed us by sending someone who should never have touched out gas lines. After 10 days I gave up on them and called John.Mark and X came out, same day and gave us a reasonable bid to fix the leak, and undo all the damage the other plumber did to our system.Mark quickly showed me his certifications for gas line work.He expected a 6 hour workday.He fought valiantly for 11 hours, not leaving until 10pm. Came back at 8am on Saturday to finish. He even waited an hour for the gas company, after he pressure tested the lines.After 13 hours of work, everything was sealed up and cleaned up, and they didnt charge a penny extra. John even stopping in late the first day to talk with us, and check in on his guys.Mark and X were polite, professional, exceptional hard working and knowledgeable. I could as for a better crew, and I will never deal with a different plumbing company, now that we have John Wilcox and crew.Thanks guys!!!Bill Jack

    Weve had Bill from Wilcox Plumbing work on emergency issues 3 times at our home, and also one routine installation job. Each time hes friendly, fast, and tidy. He obviously knows his craft very well. This most recent time I even called in the late evening just to try to get in line for the answering machine call back the next day, and their evening call service picked up the phone!They really seem to value existing / repeat customers, which is refreshing these days.     They were very friendly and easy to deal with when I made my initial call to them. I had to have a water heater replaced and they had someone out to my house next day to assess my needs and to answer any of my questions about the replacement. I had a quote in my inbox early the next morning and by the afternoon they had a new water heater installed and hot water flowing.     The 2 guys from JohnWilcox arrived on time. At the time I booked the appointment (Monday Afternoon) the office asked me to take pictures of where the leak was coming from. So, when the guys got to my house, they knew exactly what they needed to fix the problem. There was a good bit of work since they had to cutout the leaking old trap (installed when the house was built in 1949. Using PVC pipe they created a new trap. No more leak!!They did an excellent job cleaning up and they were good guys who explained what they were doing. Price was very fair

    I recently had a 25+ year old furnace and ac unit replaced. I cannot stress enough on how professional, diligent, and friendly the technicians from John Wilcox were.     Ive used Wilcox for two projects; one major (replacing sewage lines in basement that were filled with roots which took several days) and one minor (pinhole leak in copper pipe and replacing line and spigot outside the house.) This is a top-notch company on all levels; from Gretchen in the office (just super nice, helpful and professional) to the plumbing crews that did the work... the plumbers explained what they found, gave options and worked quickly and efficiently. The large project required the crews to hand carry dozens of buckets of concrete and dirt up and out of the basement- each day it disappeared and never was an eyesore in the yard - this was tough work and they did a great job. Same with the leak and spigot job. I felt their pricing was fair (the big project was in thousands; the small one hundreds.) I will continue to use Wilcox plumbing as I have a lot of trust in them.

    We recently had a great experience with John Wilcox Plumbing and Heating. During an annual inspection, another HVAC contractor came up with an extensive list of repairs for our air conditioning system that prompted us to consider a replacement. When John came out to quote a new unit, he visually inspected the equipment and stated that he felt that the required repairs may have been inflated. He scheduled a tech to come out to do a more thorough test and inspection and validated that the unit only needed minor repairs, saving us thousands of dollars. Its great to find such an honest company and well definitely be using them again as well as recommending them to others.

So you arent waiting for big chunks of the day. They also have the techs text you/call you when they are on their way and how far out they are so you know when they are coming. I thought that was very helpful._____We had Mike (one of the technicians) come and repair a gas shut-off valve to our dryer that was leaking. Scheduling the appointment was easy, they let us know when to expect Mike (2hr window) and he called us when he was on his way. Mike was very professional and patient with us.     Can’t say enough good things about Wilcox. A few years ago they installed a combination water heater and house boiler that has saved us on heating bills and it’s also much smaller. We got their name from a neighbor we trust.First, I needed to replace an old 40gallon water heater. We were interested in a tankless water heater. John called me to talk through pros and cons as well as costs. Ultimately it didn’t make sense for us and they came out to install a standard water heater in the same location as the old one about a week later.The second job was the replacement of an old drum trap and old pipes behind my tub that were causing my tub to drain slowly.For both jobs the communication was great. I got a text confirming the date and rough time. The plumbers called that morning to confirm their arrival time and parking situation. Before they started they reviewed what they were planning to do.     I had a mystery leak on a Sunday morning coming from the light fixture in my kitchen - in a 90 year old house. I called another service and they were unable to find the source on Sunday. Monday morning, I called John Wilcox and they sent Ryan out within 2 hours to investigate. He did a great job finding the source of the leak and coming up with a solution that caused the least amount of tear up and replacement.     Weve been using John Wilcox for a couple of years now. However, they came to the rescue when our home boiler went down and it was 6 degrees outside. They came in a few hours, assessed the problem, and ordered the part (which took a day and a half to come from the mid-west) They kept us up to date will texts and calls. They offered space heaters, and with the ones we made due. Ray, the service person, was polite and knowledgeable. We will continue to call on them for our heating concerns.

    I selected John Wilcox to install a new furnace and condenser, I had four companies bid on the project and selected John because he spent the most time reviewing the entire HVAC system and seeking specific solutions to my problem, exploring beyond just the units and following the duct work and flow through the house while educating me, never trying to sell me. The project occurred back in January and I purposely waited until I had both winter and summer to determine the full results before writing a review. John Wilcox and team were extremely professional through the entire experience and made sure the project met their standards and my satisfaction. The new system has had a tremendous positive impact, saving substantial money on our utility bills and a more consistent temperature and quiet system.
