My parents needed a new electrical line added to their bedroom for a ceiling light. We called Ryan and he came to provide a thorough inspection and reasonable quote. We were able to book a time with him very soon without a long wait. He was kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and simply pleasant to work with. The work was done in 1.5 hours, and my parents now have a beautiful light fixture. Thank you, Ryan! We will recommend him to all of our other family and friends.

I had a fantastic experience with Ryan from Mallard Electrical Services, he was very knowledgeable and professional. I had a panel swap and EV charger installed in my garage. Ryan was very transparent about the pricing of the job and the scope of work, with no hidden fees. Scheduling the work was a delight, he sent reminders about the upcoming work and showed up on time. Ryan took his time doing the work, you can really see his pride for his tradecraft and doing things correctly. When he cut out the drywall to put the EV charger wire, he did so in a way that it is easy to patch! Ryan also was patient in answering all my questions. The electrical inspection went off without a hitch.Would recommend Ryan and Mallard Electrical Services to my friends and family. This is a good electrician that you want to save in your contacts for life.

Ryan did the electrical work for our garage conversion to living space. We cannot speak highly enough of him and his work, which included upgrading our panel and installing an EV circuit, a new dryer circuit and new wiring, lighting and outlets throughout the conversion. Ryan’s rates were extremely reasonable and his work of the highest quality. He let us know our options without ever upselling us on any extras. He is honest and reliable, and he also stands out as an excellent and prompt communicator. He listened carefully to our plan and had really helpful recommendations for changes that would make our lives easier (e.g., to stay compliant with local code, and for best functional use of the space). He was also really great at coordinating with LNI and helping us interface with the public utility district. Ryan is fantastic - a gem, even!- and I highly recommend him for anyone looking for top quality electrical work!

I had a great experience with Ryan at Mallard Electrical. I had an EV charger installed in my garage; the project was somewhat challenging, with my breaker box being located far away on the second floor. Firstly, he gave me a transparent quote without any hidden fees. After scheduling the install time, he showed up exactly at the appointment time, got to work, and did a great job in not only installing the charger, but making the cable runs look great as well. Throughout the entire process, Ryan was thorough and efficient.I highly recommend working with Mallard Electrical!

We love it when we find a vendor that is a keeper! Had an urgent issue where our kitchen appliances, including our refrigerator, kept turning off but could not be resolved anymore by simply flipping un-tripped circuit breakers - Ryan was able to come on short notice, and found multiple panel issues with wires having been over-tightened from previous vendors causing both arcing and poor current (and possible extra GFCI trippings).Clearly a master electrician, he was able to clearly explain our various issues all while easily repairing mashed wires ends, lengthening & connecting as needed, & unfurling overly taut wires, immediately solving the problem, and it looked like likely many future ones - couldnt be happier! Thank you Ryan :)

Ryan is very knowledgeable, which shows in his work, and when providing advice. He took the time to help me customize the house lighting to accommodate how I use it. He installed recessed can lights, dimmers, timers, and wireless 3-way switches. He is professional and tidy. He provided multiple budget conscious options, and didn’t try to up-sell me. He addressed multiple electrical issues that came with the house. He replaced the main panel, and added a sub-panel for future expansion and a car charger. I am very happy with all the work he has done.I highly recommend Mallard Electrical Services !
