I was visiting my 94 year old mother. Half the house was not draining. The company she call told her she had a collapsed line under the slab and it would be $7,000 to fix. Ted Hardenburgh came and fixed the issue used his camera system found no collapsed pipe for 1/8 the price. He is honest, knowledgeable and prompt. Thank you Ted, I would recommend you without any hesitation.

I live in the Acreage in West Palm Beach, FL. My well pump stopped working yesterday, April 8, 2024. I did not have the much funding to purchase a new system. My water has been off since yesterday, and we had to buy a lot of water to maintain cleanest. I contacted Hardenburgh Plumbing today and spoke with the owner. I told him our problem, and he provided instructions over the phone as to what to do to get the pump back running. My husband followed his instructions and now the pump is working. The owner not only provided helpful information and save us money, he also followed up with a phone call and asked me did the pump started back working. I was happy to let him know that his instructions worked and i am so grateful that i called his company. Ted was excellent. Responded immediately to my inquiry and was at my house 30 min later to provide an estimate/scope of work. I needed a water heater to be replaced in a very tight, elevated platform area. Ted was great at tackling the task and getting my new water heater installed correctly and with some upgrades to existing valves that needed to be replaced. I felt the price he quoted me was very fair/reasonable given the difficulty of the job. I will be working with Ted in the future for some other projects I have planned, and recommend him to anyone in the area looking for a good plumber.

I was out of the country when my neighbor called to let me know that water was leaking out of my garage. Being thousands of miles away from home, and at 1 am eastern time, I frantically called as many plumbing companies as possible to get help. Ted at Hardenburgh Plumbing was the ONLY plumber to pick up the phone, as opposed to the many answering services I spoke to for other plumbing companies. Without out any delay, and with a sense of urgency, Ted arrived at my property within 30 minutes, met with my neighbor to get access to the property and proceeded to diagnose the issue. As it turns out, my hot water heater had an internal leak due to rust which was a result of it being set directly on my concrete garage floor as opposed to sitting in a pan. That same night, Ted mitigated the flood and installed a new 60 gallon water tank. As if that was not enough, Ted showed up first thing, 8 am the next morning, with one of his employees who fully replaced the sheet rock in my garage and painted it as well. To say I am lucky to have found Hardenburgh Plumbing would be a massive understatement. Thank you Ted for being a true professional in every sense of the word.

Not only did he show up and on-time (always difficult to find good folks) but he was able to immediately diagnose the issue and fix our plumbing under the sink. He also worked on our outside disposal and rerouted some piping to make everything work perfectly. I hired him again to put a shut off valve on outside main to ensure we never have a flood again. He has been in business for over 40 years and is a true professional. Had a main water line leak that needed to be fixed ASAP. Ted was very responsive and professional. The leak was surrounded by gas & electrical lines, as well as cable fiber optics. Ted was extremely careful not to damage any other lines as he located the source of the leak and fixed it. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Ted for any of your plumbing needs!!

Best plumbing service is Boca! I live in another state and have property in Boca. We visit the property once or twice a year and found that there has been a plumbing issue that cause damage to the the first floor. Hardenburgh plumbing was able to get out there quickly and resolve the issue with no one being home. He spent several hours, located all the damaged piping, and repaired them all the same day. I confirmed that my residential hot water heater failed on late morning of Friday 14 February 2020, of course. Read lots of reviews & Hardenburgh Plumbing was well reviewed, so I decided to contact them along with 2 other well top-reviewed competitors; Ted was the only 1 who provided a fixed quote that Friday based on my description and photos of the installation. The other 2 competitors had quotes STARTING at least 50% more than Teds fixed quote. Ted tried to fit me on late Friday afternoon; however, he could not find the same brand, size, & capacity available until Monday. Looking at a weekend without hot water, I allowed 1 competitor to quote the project on a Saturday, and of course, they charged me after hours for the visit at 10:00 am on Saturday. After they quoted, I took my losses and did not select them, and so decided to go through the weekend without hot water. Had another quote Monday 17 February. Even more expensive than Saturdays quote! Confirmed Hardenburgh Plumbing for that afternoon.While its a 2-man job to remove a shorty 40-gallon hot water heater from the shelf over 5 high in my garage (cramped further by a fixed shelf that I installed on 1 of 2 available side accesses in the corner), Ted allowed me to help him with some of the logistics (mostly lifting) to save the cost of bringing in a 2nd worker, to which I readily agreed. Ted knows his business, and was systematic & efficient in his procedure. And he stuck to his very fair quote! Easy to speak with and affable, I would highly recommend Hardenburgh Plumbing for any work for which his company is qualified.

Efficient, Fair and Friendly.Being newer to the Boca area Im careful about the contractors I use. After doing some research I called Ted Hardenburgh and Im glad I did.I had a leaky kitchen sink trap, a toilet that ran for five minutes each time I flushed (with an atypical mechanism in the tank) and a shower that drizzled when turned off.Ted came over around 6:30 pm and took care of each job quickly and easily. He knows his stuff and he charged a very fair price for everything. My judgment tells me that hes not the type of guy to try to sell you something you dont need or tell you somethings broke when its not.Highly recommended.
