Mister Mike, who was communicative and very courteous, let me know what’s wrong in about 10 minutes. Like any other random machine, be it BMW or LG, it’s a technical part issue under warrantee. It happens. Next week, he’ll install the new part. Thank you, Mister Mike Gingerbeard. Complainers: Watch this video for perspective. Mind the volume and unmute.

What a pleasure it has been to deal with Emerald Home Services. Both my neighbor and I were having pool heater problems at the same time They were able to schedule an appointment to come check out both pool heaters within days of my initial call. Chad quickly made the assessment and was honest enough to tell me that it didn’t make sense to put any money into my 15 year old heater. He worked with, me and my neighbor to give us a really good price for a replacement. Chad and Mike were here exactly on time to install the new heaters. And to show us how to run them. I would highly recommend this company.

First time using Rome Aire. Had an emergency call last night. Very impressed. Fast response for after 8pm. Kestone, their mechanic was very professional, knowledgeable & really nice guy. He figured out the issue almost immediately and had the part needed in his van to fix the problem. A little pricey, but thats expected for an emergency call at 8pm. $165 just to show up, then the labor and parts, capacitor, with a warranty for a 3 year old unit, total cost was $345. Cant complain tho, great service, seem honest and were upfront about price. And, I didnt have to sleep in 80 degree heat! Ill be signing up for a yearly maintenance plan with Rome. I would recommend.

Service person was very polite. Unfortunately I was not in town when my A/C thermostat broke. I think the fee was reasonable but was surprised when the $85 service fee was not deducted from the overall price as is often the case (at least in my experience) with other home repair services. But they repaired it quickly and fingers crossed the job was done well.

Chris was excellent— fast, efficient, good communication, helpful tip on delaying an $800 repair down the road (spray paint a metal “canister” so it won’t rust so quickly).Feb 2020Barrington and Miguel were excellent. They arrived on time to replace our air conditioner. And this was on a holiday, presidents day. They were excellent at listening, and knew what we wanted from the repair persons communication.. They left no mess and even wore shoe coverings in the house to avoid tracking dirt.Best of all, they got it done in one day.

We appreciated the quick service from the technicians who came out within hours of our call to check our AC unit. My family has used for Rome Aire for their AC needs since the 1980s, and my wife and I still use them today. Their service and professionalism are exceptional, and they are always responsive and quick to come out. When our AC unit died completely over a July 4th weekend a few years ago, they came out immediately and had us up and running in 24 hours with an entirely new unit. We just had our biannual preventative service today (a service I highly recommend), and Dan was fantastic. He took the time to take care of everything we needed quickly, professionally, and at a very fair price! Hire this company - you wont be disappointed!

Technician Dan was prompt to arrive, professional and quick to find the problem—installed a new motor and had our AC cooling in no time! While I agreed with Dan’s observation that our indoor unit was reaching end-of-life, I appreciated that Dan provided a repair for the outdoor unit that should allow us a bit more time before we replace the system. We’ve been Rome Aire customers for more than 15 years; they’ve always provided great service and fair pricing for our two AC systems and our pool heat pump.

And after my pool guy said Id likely need a new heat pump (to the tune of thousands of dollars), Rome was able to determine it was just a capacitor issue and got the unit up and running in under $300. Recommended by a friend, we took a shot with Rome. Chris came out and diagnosed the problem quickly. We agreed on a price (much less expensive than a competitor) and scheduled immediately for a full replacement of the existing system.Some modifications were required that made for a LONG day and some additional help needed to be brought in.All said and done it works perfectly and we are happy with the results. No surprises with the quoted price which is always a treat.

Two technicians installed a new A/C system (air handler in the apartment and compressor in the roof) requiring a full day. We had a challenging experience with our AC unit, that took 2 weeks to troubleshoot, and mind you, was definitely frustrating. This company was hired by our property manager to correct our AC issues, and unfortunately 3 visits from various team members could not resolve the issue. We were beyond over it, but on the 4th visit, John Vandine came to troubleshoot and within minutes he saw the problem and corrected it immediately. He went above and beyond by organizing the wires that the company who installed the unit never did. He couldn’t thank him enough, being in Florida in July with no AC for two weeks is BRUTAL. When he left, he told us to give him a call if we had any issues, after about 5 hours we were still concerned about the unit not functioning properly because at this point we had PTSD, lol, but he assured us everything was working perfectly in the unit. He was right, and he was kind to have called us back after on second concern. Thanks John for being so knowledgeable and thorough!

Rarely have I had a contractor to my home where i was completely satisfied. Today I was. I had two central ac systems replaced along with all of the copper refrigerant lines that were extremely challenging to remove and replace. These guys did an awesome job. I called Rome air about repairing our pool heater. They had to order a new compressor which they did right away in spite of the fact that there wasn’t much profit involved. As soon as the compressor came in they called me to let me know the part was defective. Subsequently a new part came in and they called me right away to setup the installation. In spite of pouring rain they fixed the pool heater on a Friday and I was back in the pool on Saturday. I am very happy with Rome AIr.and will call them if I am ever in need of their services

Great experience from start to finish. Had a mini split a/c installed and all of the work they did looks clean and tidy. Scott came out to give me the quote and he was on time, professional and just a nice guy. The quote they gave came in almost $1500 less than another place we called, and they removed the old a/c (broken wall unit), when the other place was going to leave it and make me deal with it. All the guys that came out to do the work were friendly and professional as well, and they left the place cleaner than they found it—literally had to do some yard work to get the slab in.
