Saved the day!!!! We called Lucas because we were told by Evergy they could not turn on power for the house we just bought until an electrician fixed our box. Luckily, Lucas was in the area when we called and was able to stop by and help us out right away! Very thankful for his help and the awesome service he provided for us.

TLDR AT BOTTOMThis company is truly exceptional. I called Lucas initially to check a main panel grounding issue and install some new outlets for laundry. It was discovered that our panel was also too small to add large circuits since it was original to the home (early 80s) and discontinued. We were given easy to understand options that didnt force us to replace the whole panel and didnt pressure for an immediate response. As for the actual work I couldnt be happier. Lucas got our entire panel replaced along with the mentioned laundry room work all in one day! He finished ahead of schedule, didnt cut any corners, and did everything the proper way with no shady handyman fixes. He was also very respectful of my home. The entire time Lucas was here, he wore shoe covers as Id asked and made sure no drywall got on my carpet when cutting into walls. Ive had him over a couple of times since then and I would recommend his company for any electrical work youd need done.TLDR; Lucas is an honest, clean, tradesman who knows what hes doing, and will give you a good price.

We wanted to replace and put up some outdoor light fixtures and not only was Lucas able to come to our house within an hour and do the work but he also was able to help us with other light fixtures and give us professional advice. We will definitely be calling him again for our other projects.

I had Lucas install an EV charger for me. I had no idea on what I needed. He came out and said these are your options but I wouldnt do anything less than this. He told me his reasoning behind it and then suggested brands of chargers to look at and which ones to stay away from. While at my home, he also noticed I had a battery operated door bell due to some issues a few years ago with the electric one. He told me he had an electric one in his van and got me squared away. He was just a great guy to do business with and would definitely recommend him for EV chargers and any of your electrical needs. He is knowledgeable and does quality work.

Highly recommend Lucas Electric. Weve had them out twice for different projects and we found them to be affordable, honest, prompt, and clean. Also offers electrical tips and advice, which is appreciated.The first job was for replacing a light switch, but it turned out to be a bad light fixture. He had the right supplies on the truck and fixed us right up with a replaced can light. The second job was replacing 4 exterior lights on our home.

If your looking for a highly skilled, honest electrician. Look no further.Let me tell you about Lucas, I meet Lucas on a house flipping project about 3 years ago. We had used another electrician to complete a partial rewire of the project. Their work was sloppy and they were taking much longer than expected (charging by the hour). After the second time they screwed the wiring up causing shorts in the house and being on a dead line to list the house, we did an internet search. We found Lucas and gave him a call.He struck like lightning! Was at the job quick and left a standing impression! He assessed the situation and gave us a quote ( it was clear the hacks before had done more harm than good). We agreed to his extremely fair price and he got to work that day. He fixed all of their mistakes and improved the system overall… A hero.. He truly saved the day.After that project we have used him for several remodeling projects, panel replacements, and even solar/generator installs.As a business owner, I see every day homeowners struggling to find honest, reliable contractors. I hesitate to give out other contractors info in fear of the customer needing upset with me if something bad happens. But not with Lucas, I give his info out every chance I get and have received only the best compliments about Lucas and his work.

Lucas is the guy you want to do your electrical. Yesterday he put in a transfer switch so I can run a portion of my house off of a gas generator. He was very informative in answering the questions I had, and helped me decided on what items in my house to power in a situation of loss of grid power. The other thing that impressed me was he discovered and fixed wiring mistakes that previous electricians had made in our breaker box. Will definitely use for ALL future electrical needs. Great Service! I contacted Lucas Electric on Friday about a light fixture that had come off the outside of my 1920s home and the wiring was old and frayed. Lucas came first this this AM and was able to replace/repair the old wiring and re-install my fixture. Will definitely use again and highly recommend!
