    My indirect hot water tank split at the seam and exploded overnight. NJR came out within 2 days (on Christmas Eve no less), replaced my tank, updated the plumbing to and from the tank to bring it to current code, and left the workspace cleaner than when they arrived. All this in about 2 hours’ time. Pricing was fair with financing available, if needed, and the on-site staff were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They literally saved Christmas for my family and me.

    It’s 29 degrees and the heat goes out. I called NJR to repair it. I called Saturday night after Thanksgiving at about 8:30. The repairman was here 12 hours later , 8:30am Sunday morning. I had a technician by the name of Mike. He was a very pleasant and knew exactly what he was doing. I highly recommend NJR.Mike, thanks for everything! You deserve 6 stars!

    My Water Alarm went off last night in the attic and I verified a leak. I called NJR for service and a technician named Morris was dispatched the next day and he analyzed the water leak and found a leak at the Collector Box, which he said that he has to order the parts.Morris is a highly qualified technician and has been at my home before and I trust him with my equipment, he is highly recommended, 20 Stars.Hats off to you Morris.

    NJR Home Services is 100% worth a call! I have a 30+ year old gas boiler that stopped working and I called a local HVAC company out to take a look. He was too nervous to take anything apart and said he would give me a quote on a new unit. So I did some research through NJ Gas and found NJR Home Services. WOW! They set me up with a monthly service plan over the phone and had a tech out the same day! He was amazing! Super knowledgeable, explaining everything along the way. He was able to replace multiple parts on my boiler and had it back up and running in the same visit. Life savor! I highly recommend calling NJR Home Services for any of you gas appliance needs in New Jersey.

    I was very pleased with the representative that came to my house to do maintenance on my natural gas generator. He came to the door initially asking if I had any issues then again after the maintenance was complete. He was knowledgeable and very pleasant. He answered my questions.     First of all customer service was very accommodating with the day. Just wish it was a smaller window time wise. A 10 hr. Window is a waste of day. They do give u a 20 min. Warning they are on there way. The technician was very professional and a very nice man. He got the furnace to temporarily work while they ordered a new part. The new part came in and my furnace was fixed within a week by the same technician, which I was glad it was all handled by the same nice man. I am very pleased with NJ worry free program. Well worth the monthly payment.

    Excellent experience overall. I requested water heater service on Saturday and received a phone call while I was finishing up the call with the scheduler. Technicians came out a couple hours after that, identified that the water heater needed to be replaced, and told me that I’d receive a call early in the week to arrange for installation of a new unit. After a little bit of phone tag with their salesperson, I managed to finalize scheduling on Wednesday, and less than 24 hours later, my new water heater was installed. Excellent service at a price that was reasonable. Thank you NJR!

    Great service for the price! If you don’t have any service plans on your equipment, especially heating and AC, the you owe it to the overall cost of ownership to get one here.My units are older and this year had a couple of needs that far outweigh the annual cost and they don’t automatically try to sell you a new one.I recommend a plan to begin with but have had great success here and appointments were easy and they try to accommodate as fast as possible. This last visit I waited only a few days.

Jury still outDrain pump failed. Circuit board fried. New pump and circuit board replaced a second time.Everything working...Decision made to replace furnace, ac and associated equipment.Cory and team arrived 9/13 830a. New Ruud furnace and ac installed. Done by 4pm.Very neat. Covered floor and carpeting. Removed all old equipment. You would never know they were here cept for the shiny new equipment.     Jason did an amazing job, was extremely through and took great care with the servicing of our boiler. He fixed the problem that I had call about and while performing his service had identified and replaced several other components that had failed! Afterwards, he performed the annual routine maintenance to the burners and replaced the thermocouple as a preventative measure!He work long and hard but did a great job! He wiped down all of the panels leaving our boiler ready for the upcoming heating season!Thanks Jason for your professionalism, fine work and your attention to detail!     Had a new HVAc system installed. Service was great! Installation was seamless. Workers friendly and cleaned up after themselves, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The only complaint I had was the timeline. My system went down in June and I couldn’t have the work scheduled till August 16th. It was a long hot summer otherwise I would strongly recommend NJR

    After being scammed buy two companies in my area of Toms River. I decided to look at alternatives solutions. I started doing some research and realized that Nj Home was a union company and they don’t price gouge. for my first repair I didn’t have a contract, but I was very pleased with the price they gave me versus thousands more reputable companies in the area of Toms River.so now I’m the proud owner of a contract with Nj Home and I couldn’t be happier this past weekend. I had them at my house for leaking valve. They replaced two of them and there was no additional charge. for anyone that’s interested in getting repairs done without price gouging and have peace of mind with the contract. I highly recommend NJhome. they do not disappoint. Their staff is polite. The employees that come out to do. The repairs are knowledgeable and clean up after themselves. I called them peace of mind.

Home services did not call me on Sunday to prepare me for when the installation would occur. However, it was a minor oversight compared to the excellence of the workmanship. The workmen were also very courteous of My Home made sure to cover all wood flooring and any furniture that might be exposed. The level of service above my expectations.

    Update: 2/5/23 NJR Home Services sent out a project manager after reading my post. The project manager was over my house to view the damage in less than an hour. The project manager stated that the damage left after the install was unacceptable and needed to be fixed.The handyman that they sent out was nice and accommodating.INITIAL POST: Simple and easy support. Our normal technician is positive and helpful.When we got a new HVAC system installed by them. The technicians damaged my sheetrock in my laundry room during the install. The technicians only said sorry to rectify the issue. We paid a lot of money for the new system and I thought I wouldnt have to do my own work to clean up after they left especially when it was $12,000.

    NJR did a fantastic job starting with our consultation all the way to our HVAC installation. They were super professional and worked really well considering the amount of space we have in our home, which isnt a lot. we were put on a wait list, which I didnt mind, but they were able to get us in sooner, which was fantastic. We called Arctic Air first, who provided an estimate of $1,400 to replace the inducer motor and hot surface igniter. NJR replaced the blower and cleaned the existing igniter for less than $400 - all of which was covered under the Comfort Service plan from NJ Natural Gas. From our experience, NJR provided an honest price. We are happy and satisfied.

    I had no heat, I called njr home services to come look at it. They were here first thing in the morning. My technician joe, tech number 1119518 went down and diagnosed it immediately. Changed a circuit board and blower in the motor. And within an hour I had heat blowing through my house. He was very knowledgeable and quick and efficient. I recommend everyone sign up for njr home.     Our 13.5 year old AO Smith Vertex hot water heater developed a leak and needed to be replaced. Weve seen NJR trucks in our development and decided to give them a call. Replacing it with another Vertex made no sense due to the very high up front cost vs savings/expected lifespan. Bridgette gave us options that made sense considering water heaters have an expected 10 year lifespan, so we chose an AO Smith ProLine XE/GPVT-50. With that being said, she offered next day install and we took it. 2 technicians and 2 trucks arrived at exactly 11am on the dot the next day. The old unit was removed and the new unit installed in 90 minutes. The workmanship was extremely neat, clean, and detailed, the best ever. Shout out to tech Joe C and his apprentice. So quality and reliability is an absolute 5 stars. As for pricing, it seems fair but we have no comparisons. Sadly we tried shopping around with other installers with zero success. If you want quality, reliability and peace of mind, or just want to get the job done and done right, NJR is the way to go.

    I have owned service contacts with NJR over the last 20+years. It was one of my best decisions and I need to emphasize I am not a customer who doesnt speak their mind. They are an extremely reputable company, responsive, competent, knowledgeable, and personable when ever they had to do a service call and best of all over those many years have not had to put out much if any additional money other than my monthly service contract amount which is very reasonable. My heating system, air conditioner, hot water tank and generator are all covered under my contract. Plus, after 20 years I also used them when I decided to install a new heating system and air conditioner. Once again they were on time, system installed without issue and have not had anything major over the last 12 years with that system. I will always continue using NJR and highly recommend them.

    Overall I am happy. The turnaround time from calling for service last Saturday to getting a repairman here was one day, which is great! Similarly, the turn around time from scheduling an installation of the part until the repairman came to do it was one day. My only issue was that I was told it would take two days to get the part in, but it took almost a week. That made for a lot of very cold nights and mornings in the house, but we made it through. Both repairmen and everyone I spoke with on the phone were friendly, professional and great to work with. I am very satisfied overall.
