Call them at 1pm and got the great quote right away and they did in the same day. Pasha finished the work in an hour by 6pm. I got so many quote and Merv was half of others with much higher quality instead of wasting time for admin and other processing.They are Honest, Professional, and caring to deliver a good quality job. I was extremely satisfied with their quality and cost. I saved his number and would use and recommend them 100%.

I hired Merv Electric to install recess lighting for my basement and install GFCI outlets in the garage. Pasha was able to give me an estimate very quickly and came out the next day to do the job. He even pointed out some danger issues and removed unnecessary wiring and completed the job very quickly at a reasonable price. He is very knowledgeable, responsive and I could not ask for more. I would definitely call him for my next project.

When I needed new bathroom fans installed to combat mold and dampness, I found Merv Electric recommended by people I knew on Nextdoor and contacted them. They responded immediately, had me send photos of my existing fans and switches, and sent me a reasonable estimate that same day. They also fit me into their schedule within a few days, and the work is done! Pasha is very friendly, punctual, and professional. We are very pleased with the work theyve done and would certainly use them again in the future.

We had an outlet spark and knock out the power to several others. I called Merv Electric on a holiday weekend, not expecting to hear back from anyone until Monday. Alex called me back within 20 minutes and was at our house in about an hour. Everything was fixed quickly for a reasonable rate. Alex even gave me a hand moving a heavy piece of furniture that I was struggling with. He was polite, nice, and very competent. Would recommend Alex and this company any day! Definitely who my family will be calling from now on.

These guys are fantastic! I had a problem with a heater not working in one of the rooms. These guys gave me an appointment right away for the afternoon. Showed up exactly on time, wearing a mask, wearing the shoe covers. Diagnosed the problem in about 5 mins to be because of a thermostat, had a new thermostat equipped with him. Fixed that and the heater was working right away. The best part was it only took half an hour to diagnose and finish the whole job! The price was reasonable, i had called around multiple folks and these guys did offered a price that bet most of the professional folks. And the best part was for this particular job, they guy absolutely knew what he was doing and for once did not shutdown the main power of the house or even the room etc! They guy who did the work was even funny and told me a story about that!I would absolutely first call these folks again for any electrical needs and recommend to all my friends as well.

Merv Electric is a very competent, reliable company. I remodeled my entire house and was my own contractor, so I appreciate a good subcontractor. This week I needed help with an electrical issue on a kitchen pendant light. After checking reviews on YELP and Google, I hired Merv Electric in Bellevue. The owner communicated clearly ahead of time with a bid and answered my questions completely regarding that bid. The owner sent out Pasha, who has 14 years of experience. Pasha is intelligent, fast, knowledgeable, has a broad base of experience, took photos as he worked in the attic crawlspace with the transformer, and explained the issue clearly. I would highly recommend Merv Electric to anyone needing a competent electrician.

I was extremely satisfied with my end-to-end experience with Merv Electric. I had, what I would consider, a large project to modernize a 30-year old, 6000+ sq ft home. We wanted to: 1) wire a new home theater with a 7.2 configuration, 2) add 7 wall mounted TV locations throughout the house, 3) hard wire smoke detectors up to current code, 4) network a home office, 5) neatly organize the central networking cabinet and 5) new lines out to the utility. At the last minute, we also decided to add new can lights to 3 of our bedrooms. Pasha and his team took care of everything and I would hire them again in a heartbeat!As others have noted, when you call, you get a prompt response from an electrician. Pasha came over, met with me to discuss the details, and sent me an itemized estimate with detailed descriptions. This was great because it ensured we were aligned on the scope. For a project with as many action items as mine, this was extremely useful. Once we were able to come to an agreement on the scope, price, and materials I would provide, he was able to get me on the schedule.The work was phenomenal. They were able to run all the wiring through the attic to each of the locations. Some of it was a bit tricky because of the complex roof structure with lots of cables, but they were still able to make all the runs clean end-to-end. They ran new networking, new speaker wires, and new power runs separately to minimize interference.In retrospect, I valued the conversations about which materials (e.g. smoke detectors, lights, networking cabinet hardware, etc.) would be better for me to provide instead of Pasha picking them out for me. These are often up to personal taste and preferences, so it not only reduced cost, but it also made it easier for me to get what I wanted.I was also very particular about what I was expecting. I had a vision of what I wanted everything to look like once it was done. In addition, the existing low-voltage wiring in the house was a mess (some through the attic, some through the crawlspace, it was a maze...) and I definitely was looking for something much better. Pasha communicated well, providing status updates and discussed with me how they were handling particularly challenging runs. Pasha also responded well to questions and feedback and started to anticipate my questions and adjusted his execution plan according. Pasha and his whole team definitely delivered! They were hard working, detail-oriented, and delivered great customer service, which was visible every step of the way.If youre looking for a solid electrician, I think youd be hard pressed to find one better than Pasha and his team!

Firstly, this is the only review of anything I have written in 4 years. This is not something I do. And I’m not being incentivized to do so now.We had a great experience with Merv Electric! They provided a timely bid, we explained our lighting vision and they were instantly comfortable with the plan. Other companies we talked to did a lot of hedging and indicated that they would have to lease special equipment, bring in separate contractors, etc. These guys were like “yeah, that’s no problem. We’ve done a lot of projects with this. No, we have all the equipment - this is our job”. We ended up needing to be away from the house during the project for an emergency medical situation and so the final positioning decisions I left up to their good judgement and they put things exactly how I wanted them. They texted us pictures along the way. It was an excellent experience, I would HIGHLY recommend them and will use them again for any lighting or electric needs that arise. I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism, the process and the outcome.

These days it is challenging to find someone to do jobs that dont want an arm and a leg as compensation. Pasha is that person who delivers fast, good AND at a fair price. He stuck to his estimate, identified and fixed other risks (with permission) and was done in no time. We liked him so much that his number is now in my phone and Ive already inquired about another project. Thats rare. But hes that good.

Pasha replaced and updated the panel in our home when we added a new addition. His price was the best I found after calling a number of electricians. He was courteous and professional. He fit us into his busy schedule and even finished the job on a weekend to make sure we completed sooner. Hes even stopped by a number of times since to evaluate a couple electrical issues we had during our kitchen remodel. He saved us money when we thought we needed to replace a wire. He found the wire was fine and that an outlet simply needed to be cleaned up inside. We trust his opinion and pricing over other electricians we consulted. TLDR: Quick appointment right before the holidays, and kind + friendly service. Clearly knowledgeable.Called two days before thanksgiving to get a GFCI outlet installed in the bathroom for a bidet, and they were able to set an appointment for the next day (the day before thanksgiving) which was great. They showed up about 20 minutes early to appointment, and finished installing the outlet in about an hour. Was very understanding about limited parking in the area, had no issues with the pets in the house, and was kind enough to explain the process and quick to find the best solution without cutting too much into the drywall (clearly experienced). Also showed up wearing a mask and the shoe covers without prompting. Thanks Merv Electric!
