    Dallin at SCR Northern just saved the day for us!! Saturday at 4am the sump pump that pumps the water to the septic system alarm starts going off. And yes. There is water all over the basement floor. And yes. Its a weekend. And yes. we need a plumber now. Called a handful of places that wouldnt answer or didnt call back. Then called SCR. Someone picked up. Dallin called back about 30 min later and was over an hour or so after that.  Of course it wasnt a completely straight forward job but he had everything he needed with him and got it all sorted out and we can once again run water.  And when he was giving us the run down on what he did, he told us some stuff about the plumbing in the house we were aware of. Excellent experience.

    5 star service all around! Placed a call with the service rep, she set us up with a technician, (Jerry) he diagnosed the problem, and replaced the part, and had us back up and running, all in about 2 hours! Thanks a million!

    We needed help with our furnace. I called another local company the night before but the on call person was rude and unhelpful. One of our neighbors, works/worked for SCR and I recall seeing his truck driving around. I was extremely impressed from start to finish. From the call I placed to get service to our house to the tech (Shane) coming out for repairs. Professional, kind, honest, helpful, efficient and upfront about costs. We will definitely use them again!

    The $30 trip charge and $92 an hour that includes drive time is super spendy, but I was desperate. The service cost was still exorbitant, but Shane didnt mess around. He was professional and quick. He had to repeatedly go up and down my stairs & he always stepped lively. Not a second was wasted in an attempt to pad my bill. Id give him 7 stars if I could. If I need a plumber again, I will go with SCR again--but only if it is with Shane.

    I broke my shower on a Sunday. I called SCR Monday morning. They were incredibly helpful and had someone come over that morning. Jesse called me when he arrived at my house and went over what needed to be done. He then called a couple hours later and said everything was done. When I arrived home, the new shower valve was expertly installed and everything was perfect. Very professional, very reasonable, and very thankful for Jesse and SCR.

    SCR Northern is an absolute fantastic company to work with. I have been having issues with my furnace dating back February, 2019. Each time I called they came out to address the issues ASAP.All of the techs are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Tammy, who handles the majority of the calls, is also amazing to work with. From helping with payments to staying on top of handling our furnace issues, I am very pleased and impressed.Our furnace ended up needing to be replaced, which they were able to send an employee to give us a quote immediately on a Monday and per request I needed the furnace installed immediately. They were out two days later to install. Both techs were very polite, clean and did an excellent job. They explained our new thermostat to us and even helped us get the app on our phones for carrier and walked us through it. We are very happy! Keep up the great work. I would absolutely recommend SCR Northern for all heating and cooling issues and installs at your home!

    We had some toilet issues and called for a potential fix. As it wasnt an emergency we were scheduled for the following week. Derek was right on time in our scheduled window and was friendly, polite and did a great job. He tried a repair and determined wed need a replacement. He gave me such great knowledge on what to look for, stay away from and gave my non-plumber self full confidence to purchase a replacement toilet without any issue. We came back for the new install and was right on time, polite as always and did a great job. He made sure all was straight and even gave me tips as our particular toilet can be finicky so he made sure I understood why it was different and how to mitigate any of the usual issues with it. Price was nothing unexpected and for the service and and quality well definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

    We had our furnace replaced by SCR. They were responsible and timely. They took care to place drop cloths on our carpeted steps. Before they left Mike made sure we knew how to operate the new thermostat, and made sure we were happy with his service.     We had an issue with leaking refrigerant in our home A/C system installed just 2 1/2 years ago by a different HVAC company and caused water leaking all over our furnace, but the installing HVAC company said that would they not guarantee their work despite telling us different at the point of sale and they were a month out before could get a tech to our house. We called SCR as they had installed our hot water heater years ago and our SCR tech, Matt, was very kind, informative and professional and he was out to our house that same day and stayed until 7pm that evening fixing our A/C system. He found the issue to be caused by poor quality installation by the other HVAC company. We are very happy with SCR going above and beyond to fix another HVAC companys mistake and take care of us!

    I dont usually provide reviews, but I had to for our tankless water heater replacement project.The salesman (Brian Doucette) provided great information, answered all of our questions and returned our phone calls promptly even a few weeks later to answer more questions while we were still making our decision. We were very happy with that part of the experience.We were even happier with the installation team (Mike and Bo) and the experience. showed up on-time and did a GREAT job. They were obviously very knowledgeable and concerned that the job got done efficiently and correctly. It was also very apparent that they wanted us to be happy with not only the water heater, but also with the way the installation looked both inside and outside of the house. They also were able to answer all of our questions and took the time to do so.This is the first time doing business with SCR, but I wont hesitate to call them again when and if needed. My only concern is that perhaps nobody else can live up to the reputation and high bar set by Mike, and Bo!Thanks SCR!

    Our air conditioners compressor quit during one of the hottest weeks of summer. We placed a call to Brian at SCR. He gave us a quote right away, and had a new a.c. unit on order for us.I have very high standards when it comes to the quality of work being done in my home. I prefer to do most things myself when possible, but sometimes you need to call in the professionals. Even though I dont expect needing them to return, I will gladly welcome Mike and Andrew back in the future. They were a great team and did an amazing job for us.

    On 1/7/2022 we woke up to -33 degrees. We had an installation of a split system air conditioning/heat pump system at our home scheduled as we were looking for a second heating source. I had every intention of canceling due to the weather but shortly before 8a.m. the installation team of Mike and Chris showed up at our home. They stated they wanted to go ahead and do the I installation regardless of the weather. I told them they could come in as much as they needed to keep warm. Mike and Chris were two very personable men, very professional and did a great installation job in horribly cold weather. I am very satisfied with the product they installed after the first week. Mike and Chris get an A+ in my book and thanks to Brian for figuring out what we needed at a reasonable price.

    What great service here. I did a repair to my shower and found it was leaking through the wall like crazy on Sunday. They called bright and early as promised and had someone to me in minutes. Not even this crazy snowstorm slowed them down. He got right to work and made a change on the fly per our request. Tremendous service at a great rate.

    Our furnace installation guys were courteous and worked diligently from the start of the day until the end. They worked through the obstacles that came up with removing our 41 year old furnace and replacing the outdated technology. They were great to work with and made sure the apps we’re working before they left. We chose SCR Northern because they have always responded to furnace cleanings and repairs, as well as plumbing repairs, in a timely manner, with knowledgeable professionals.

    SCR North installed my new Carrier furnace today. They were on time and did a great job installing it like true-professionals. I had a related plumbing issue after they left.     Mike and Chris came out and replaced my water heater and downstairs toilet and were timely and professional and very friendly. I am retired and tend to chatter on a bit and they didnt mind that so hurray to them for putting up with me. Anyway they are a great crew who do a very good job for all your plumbing needs.

    We have struggled with our heating and cooling system since our home was built 25 years ago. We have had four different HVAC contractors prior to contacting SCR with no success. We had areas of our home that heated/ cooled very unevenly. At one point one of the contractors switched out our thermostat four times and had our furnace short cycling. To say we were frustrated would be an understatement. Then we contacted SCR. They very thoroughly checked our entire system and found our ductwork looked like a bowl of spaghetti for starters, and clearly explained our issues. SCR came in and reconstructed our ductwork, and installed a new system for us. I cannot begin to explain how thrilled we are...and amazed...at how well our home heats and cools now. It honestly took us a long time to adjust to living with a perfectly working system! How sad we had lived with such a mess for years before we discovered SCR. Thankfully we did, and now have confidence in our heating and cooling system. We cannot thank them enough!

    Cant say enough about the service we got, we were a small job, installing 2 new mini-split systems at our cabins in Nisswa.The crew that showed up and did the work was friendly and spent the time and the energy making sure everything was working properly and even took our suggestions into account, without being know-it-alls.One of the compressors was bad, but the one Technician, Dalton, spent 2 hours on the phone with the Tech Support for the compressor manufacturer to find out is was bad. Then when the new compressor came in, they seemed to drop everything else to come out and install the new compressor.I would definitely use them again, contact Brian and request Dalton to do the work, great people that do what they say they are going to do, and are truly concerned about the finished product. Hallelujah, every once in a while you find people that care and are great to work with.Thank You guys for making it work and putting the extra effort in to make us feel like we were important clients, even though we were a small job.Bill Bivens and Larissa Luhrs

    Our furnace stopped working yesterday so I called SCR for assistance. They were very prompt in sending a technician to our home. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem and supplied us with portable heaters to get us through the night. At the same time, Brian, the SCR Sales Director, went above and beyond what we could have hoped in working with the manufacturer to secure us a new unit, which the technicians installed the following day.
