I contacted Frye Electric for a quote for an electric vehicle charging station. The visit for a quote was scheduled quickly. The technician Chris was thorough and explained options for the installation and asked about the other quotes I received. Frye was the most cost effective provider and scheduled the install quickly. The install was also quick and looks great. Everyone throughout the process was kind and helpful!

So weve had frye out 2x in the last year for my moms aging condo. They were prompt, courteous and patiently explained everything to my 78yo mom. The were able to quickly identify and fix the issue both times. They are reasonably priced and communicate well with customers, my mom requested the same tech for the second visit since he was so patient and pleasant the first time, although they intended to send him he was busy longer than anticipated so before the appointment time they called and asked if it would be ok to send a supervisor as he was available at the appointment time. The supervisor arrived with an apprentice in toe and quickly fixed the issue even troubleshooting the rest of the line to prevent further issues. They completed quickly and explained everything to mom. I cannot speak highly enough of them.

Outstanding!! We had an emergency fire hazard with our breaker box sparking and needed it to be replaced last night (friday) they sent someone out so quick and he did a fantastic job of putting in a new box with in a few hours and they did not charge us an arm and a leg either!! Would highly recommend. I did not catch the guys name as my husband was the one that meet him cause we needed to leave the house, but who ever you are..bravo and thank you for your hard work on a late Friday night!!

Had an issue with my dishwasher acting funny. A crew came out the first time and didn’t fix the problem but after making a quick call they fit me in and had someone at my house soon after. They fixed the problem and it’s working great. The professionalism and customer service are second to none. I’ll definitely be using Frye in the future.

I had an outlet and a ceiling light fixture moved, and it was so convenient! Frye showed up and estimated the job in about 10 minutes, then got to work. They had to get into a tight space in my attic and did so without complaint or issue. Then, when the electric boxes were moved, they reinstalled my fixtures and even put in a dimmer switch for me. And they cleaned up any trace of their work. All in all, it took under two hours and they were very professional the entire time. They even gave my cat a little love. Highly recommend!

I cant say enough to express how happy we are with the service we received from Frye Electric. We needed some new fixtures installed, a doorbell wire re-ran and a light post removed. Javier and Jazz were FANTASTIC to work with. They worked great together as a team, communicated well with us and even had a positive sense of humor. The work was done efficiently and effectively. This day and age, its very hard to find a contractor who will respond to your calls, let alone show up on time and do great work for a fair price. Frye Electric is doing it right!

Very happy with the work completed. Ive dealt with Peterman Brothers and Mister Sparky, and Jon and Ben from Frye were more knowledgeable and better to work with than either of those two. Also a fair price and they held to the estimate I got by email. If I need work done in the future, I know who to call.

Man where to start. I have issues with my circuits for months. I broke down and called Frye electric and they got me together right before Xmas. They were punctual and professional. I had to have them come twice because they needed a tracer they didnt have but then kinda waived some fees for the 2nd time, so that was really cool. I know electricap work is expensive but it was much less than I expected. When I have new projects coming in the spring, I will definitely be giving Frye electric a call!!! My go to electricians now.

They deserve 6 stars !!! The two technicians that can to my house to wire a sauna heater to a 30 amp breaker were courteous, professional, and treated my dog Jack with love.. I have owned 3 homes in Indiana. One was a foreclosure. I have delt with Ashpaugh Electric, Mr Sparkey, and one thats not even in business anymore. I will need a upgraded breaker panel eventually. Frye Electrics work quality and reasonable pricing will get them back to my home.

Frye Electric did a great job for us on a Saturday emergency call!I had a red hot connection coming in from line side to the top of our house load center (breaker panel). This was on the verge of being a house fire if went further! I shut off the mains and starting looking for emergency help (on a SATURDAY no less). Contacted a competitor first (who shall be un-named), immediate answer service, but indicated they couldnt be out until July 6th!! WOW, so much for emergency service.Then I contacted Frye Electric. Emergency service operator was just as friendly. However, I got a phone call from Hal within minutes to ask for details of my issue. He said he would make a couple of calls and call right back. Within minutes, he said Cody was on his way.Cody arrived, did the inspection, was able to come up with a safe & effective solution! He was kind, courteous, and diligent to help us out! Cody expressed he wasnt leaving until we had power no matter what it took!Power was back up within a few hours! Very impressed especially for a late afternoon Saturday!Job well done and appreciated!Thank you Frye Electric!! Thank you Hal and definitely thank you Cody!

Great attitude and great customer service. Called for a problem at our rental late on Saturday night. Jeff came out and tracked down the problem and fixed it quickly. He was so friendly especially for such a late night call. In my opinion the fee was very reasonable for an after hours rate. I will definitely be using Frye for my future electrical needs and recommending them to others!

I had a great experience with Frye Electric. I called right when they opened on Monday morning and had an electrician (Zach) at my house an hour later. Zach was a knowledgeable and was able to explain exactly what he was doing and how it happened. We had our issues resolved that morning and know the exact steps of what to do if in a similar position. We will continue to use Frye Electric based on this experience.

Update 3/30:Frye Electric sent out a second technician to complete our original service call today. Javier was a superstar! He was friendly, efficient, and committed to making sure we were satisfied with his work. He brought the necessary equipment and identified the problem quickly. We couldnt be happier with this second chance experience! We would gladly give FIVE STARS for Javiers work!!!Original review for 3/27:Our oven and a few outlets were not receiving any power. My husband is pretty handy, but he couldnt figure out the problem. He made an appointment with Frye Electric and informed them of the issue and what he had already done in the way of investigating the problem. Unfortunately, he was unable to be home for the appointment.While I was entertaining and chasing after two little kids, our technician began looking into the problem. About 20 minutes in, he tells me he doesnt know whats wrong and my options are to schedule another appointment to trace the line with the line tester or open up drywall and re-run the line. I asked why he couldnt trace the line now and he informed me that the line tester is equipment that had to be specially requested (???!). On account of how Im not an electrician, how would I know to request it? But I digress...He then looked around for another hour. Then proceeded to reiterate that they would have to come back another day and my total was $233 (!!!!!!!!!!!). For what?! I asked. A $65 trip charge and an hour and a half of time charged in 30 minute increments. And now Ill be expected to shell out for another trip??I called a couple other electricians who confirmed that they bring line testers to every trip as its a basic tool. I believe the technician knew after 20 minutes that he wasnt able to complete my repair at that time, so it seems as though he burned up another hour to jack up the total cost.I did call the company, but was told that all supervisors were on vacation. My husband talked to someone the next morning and made another appointment with the agreement that the second trip charge would be waived and $55 refunded from the first appointment. Maybe Im being difficult, but I am still not satisfied with service, especially when we will end up paying over $200 BEFORE ANY ACTUAL REPAIRS. Who can afford to use this company at this rate?Will update after second appointment.

They replaced the main power line coming into the house to the box and have added several new circuits. Eric F. did fantastic work - very personable, intelligent, and explained everything he was doing. . Had 5 lights that wouldnt work. Had two single switches, a three-way, and a four-way. Told Eric the situation and he immediately began troubleshooting and had it figured out within 15 minutes. He replaced the bad switches and tested everything to make sure everything worked. Very reasonable price, excellent work, and definitely recommend.

Knowledgeable and reasonable in cost, too. Lets face it, a licensed electrician isnt going to work for nothing, but I dont want to be gouged, either. As they were wrapping up they found a gas leak I was able to have addressed the following morning. They went above and beyond their scope to point out the gas leak.

2 Years ago, we had an excellent experience with having our electrical service panel updated and our service pole raised.Today, I called for what I thought might be an emergency. Hal picked up and was incredibly courteous and professional, gave great advice and offered to have an electrician come by to personally check on the issue. It turns out it was actually an issue with our electric provider (IPL), but through and through both Hal and the service electrician (Chad) were understanding and thoughtful through the process to make use feel safe.We are grateful for their continued customer service.
