Woke up to no power on a hot summer day and called Lewis Electric. Got immediate emergency service same day to diagnose issue. Jesus came out and installed a new breaker panel and was very courteous, friendly and highly professional. Can’t beat trustworthy, transparent, reliable service like Lewis Electric. Have used their service for years and highly recommend as a trusted, relationship-driven, high integrity company.

Lewis Electric & Contracting came to our aide on an emergency call. A tree branch had fallen wipe out all Electricy. They worked with on it fast and we were up and running smoothly. Very good workers! Will reference their name anytime needed. Polite workers and know what their doing!! Great job.

Lewis Electric was the hero of the day. We started a service upgrade for the house we want to sell and quickly got in over our head. The power was cut on the hottest day of the year due to poor planning on my part and Lewis Electric not only went to the supply depot to find the parts needed to bring the home up to code they came out, rebuilt the raceway, ran the upgrade wires, dealt with the city code inspector, and got the correct permits finishing it all in one day. They responded quickly to calls and texts throughout the day and did an excellent job communicating. I never thought Id have a go to electrician but we do now. Lewis Electrical will be our go to for any electrical needs in the future. 5 STARS

I can’t thank Jeremy and Jesus enough;we were without power in more than half of our second floor for close to two months. Many local electricians wouldn’t even come out; “jobs too big”, the ones that did either didn’t come back with an estimate or had me on an almost 2 month waiting list for an itemized estimate.Then I found Lewis Electric, Jeremy and Jesus save the day!I reached out to Lewis Electric on Wednesday afternoon and spoke with Jeremy. He was able to come out the next morning and within 30 minutes he had diagnosed the issue, and by that afternoon he emailed me an estimate to restore the power to the majority of my 2nd floor that had gone out. By that Friday afternoon, he and Jesus upgraded and restored the all power to my second floor and attick. I can’t begin to tell you how thrilled I was to turn on that bedroom light!Not only did they do an amazing job repairing my electrical issue, they are very pleasant, courteous and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of an electrician.

I was looking for an electrician to help me with an issue at my home… everyone I contacted never showed up. Lewis electric came highly recommended so I gave him a call. He came out right away to check out the problem and fixed it on the spot. Turned out to be something minor he fixed for no charge. I will definitely be using him in the future and referring him out as well. Very professional and timely with communication. I needed a chandelier installed at my old place. Got online and found Lewis Electric. Called and got a fast response from Jeremey. He put me in touch with his co worker, Jeff. Agreed on a date and he was very professional and fast. Chandelier was installed in 30 minutes. Great price too. I will be using them for future projects.

I recently moved to Illinois from another state and the house we purchased had a pool in the backyard. The pool was powered by a green extension cord that blended in with the grass just laying in the middle of the yard.I called a great number of electricians and various electric companies to see if I could get an estimate for the cost of running an outlet to the pool so I could get rid of the green extension cord.Lewis Electric was the ONLY one (of the dozen or so companies that I called) that was prompt in answering my call and providing me with an estimate for the job. Other companies came out, looked at it and said theyd email me back with the dollar amount and I never heard back or theyd ask for pictures of the job and never reply. Lewis Electric quoted me out and even followed up with me the next day to see what I thought of the quote and let me know how far out he would be in getting it scheduled. I didnt have to keep asking for the quote or ask if he wanted the job. Im also just a bit outside of his normal work area but he said it wouldnt be a problem since I had found his company on Google when searching for electricians near me and it popped up.They were able to come out within a few weeks of quoting me the job and spent the better portion of the morning getting everything installed and cleaned up and were able to complete it by early afternoon. I was able to get quotes from a couple of other companies and Lewis Electric was right in the middle as far as pricing goes so I was happy to have them do my job due to the communication and professionalism in their response times.If their company were closer Id have no issues in contacting them for more work I may need done and still may do so in the future if the price is right, knowing that they still need to operate on profit. If I lived in their service area theyd be my first and only call for electric work needing done in my house.

We have used Lewis Electric twice over the past 3 years. They are very professional, courteous, prompt, and they stand by their work. They installed an outdoor outlet, installed light timer switches, and fixed an improperly wired two-way switch. I highly recommend them and I would use them again.

I worked with Jeremy on a bunch of projects around my house. After I first called, he was there within 2 days to start the job. I walked through the long list of things I was hoping to get done, expecting it to take weeks. He finished everything up in a single day and stayed all day to make sure I was happy and satisfied with the work. He’s a great guy and very knowledgeable and efficient. He was able to crawl up in the attic to run some wires without making too many holes in the walls. A few days later, I noticed an issue with an outlet that he did not work on and he came and fixed it and installed my Nest thermostat for no charge. All around fantastic experience and I highly recommend Lewis Electric for anyone trying to get some electrical work taken care of at home!

Not only was he able to install a dozen canned lights in my kitchen, he was also able to rewire my finished basement lights to accommodate easier access to the switches. I had some very sporadic light flickering especially with bathroom lights. Jeremy started at electrical panel and various load tests throughout the house and outside. Nothing out of code or due to damage was present but arc fault breakers where generating more heat than other panel breakers according to thermal camera. He swapped out arc fault breakers and suggested that bathroom flickering was most likely due to bulbs. I changed out the low quality led bulbs with garage door opener interference resistant LEDs and sure enough most of the flickering went away. Although no real problems were found, I am confident that Jeremy did a through evaluation. It seems that Failing circuit breakers and cheap LEDs can cause alot of problems. I would recommend Lewis electric to anyone in need of a honest, knowledgeable and experienced electrician as I will be using them again.

We thought we had a big problem with our ceiling fan - turns out someone put the wrong size/kind of bulb in, resulting in an explosion! The plumber came out next day, explained the problem, changed the bulb for us AT NO CHARGE! So, obviously a fair and kind company.
