MAD Energy NW was amazing to work with! I hired them on behalf of my clients who were interested in getting a backup solar battery for their property near Mount Rainier. While solar ended up not being a good option because of the surrounding trees, MAD Energy put together a solution for backup Enphase batteries. From the business manager to the project manager to the project engineer, their diligent communication and company-wide professionalism made a months-long project smooth and organized. If I have any solar or backup power or electrical needs in the near future, I will definitely be using them again!

The owner and Master Electrician of MAD Energy NW, Mike Dalton, is now our go to guy for all things electrical and also for general contracting. He came to our newly purchased but dated home and helped us design a lighting set up that worked well for us and updated our 1970’s condo electrical to current standards. His work is beautiful and he is both professional and efficient. He was willing to work with me to get every part of the job right the first time and walked me through each step of the process, answering any questions I had along the way. I wish every contractor out there was like Mike; his attention to detail sets him apart. I am so glad we hired him and we will both used him again in the future and recommend him to all our friends! When it comes to electrical work, Mike from Mad Energy is one of the best contractors Ive worked with . He provided a comprehensive 15-page report detailing the problems and subsequently fixed everything. The transformation was remarkable - he cleaned up the octopus of conduits, realigned the panels for better aesthetics, and concealed wiring so well that my neighbor couldnt even tell the system was operational.Beyond his technical skills, Mike is trustworthy and reputable. Many thanks to MAD Energy for the installation of a solar energy system best suited for my needs. Paul was able to easily present several scenarios online, discussing the pros and cons. Of the five bids procured, some companies were out simply to sell a finance package. Not so with MAD. Electricians Jesse and Lenne were a wealth of information and worked tirelessly to get things done right and with aesthetics in mind. At one point, some questionable materials were replaced. They were able to work around our inconvenient schedule. My only regret was not embarking on this adventure three years ago when I was first looking into it.

I have recently just got an EV charger installed by MAD Energy NW.I had 5-star experiences with all the services they provided, from Online/Onsite Consultation to EV Charger Install and Inspector scheduling. Everyone that I have worked with is super nice and easy to work with. (Hailey, Craig, Dickson, Lenne, and Jesse)I live in a condo, the breaker panel is located in the 2nd bedroom on the 2nd floor. The garage is right below a neighbor and the unit downstairs next to the garage is also another neighbor, so the installation is not simple like most people with a Breaker Panel in the garage. However, the MAD Energy NW team took care of it! (With a very fair price!)The team (Lenne and Jesse) came to do the install knew the breaker panel was located in my kid’s room and they did their best to get the job done without even cutting the drywall near the breaker panel. They are very polite and professional, and by talking to them (Including Craig during onsite consultation) I have learned that they all love their company, and the company has been training the staff not to cut corners, get the job done right, quantity over quality, respect customer/customer property just like how they would be treated.Even when the inspector came, he commented that the installers did an amazing job!Honestly, I do not see many companies and employees with such high standards these days.I would highly recommend MAD Energy NW if you need to have any electrical work done. I know I will be contacting them once I have a house and looking at Solar Panels/Wall Battery installation because they already earned my trust.Thank you MAD Energy NW! Mad Energy came out to check the electrical panel, outlets, and switches in the house we just purchased. Originally scheduled for half a day, they discovered some issues that we did not know about that we needed to have fixed for our safety. We are very pleased with the work they did, communicating with us all along the way, solving issues, repairing them with cats and quality, and cleaning up afterwards. Highly recommend!

They were backed up 3 months out but they showed up the exact week they had planned to be. They had the most cost-effective and flexible approach to their quote meeting my needs to get the shortest payback time by focusing on the best roof pitches. Theyve been very responsive and timely and I havent had a utility bill over $7 for all summer and I banked over $500 in energy credits to use in the winter. I had estimated a 10 to 12-year payback period And it looks like we might beat that. I am very glad that I went ahead with it now while all the tax credits are still applying the promise to buy back power at the same rate that they charge us. Ours was a particularly attractive location because our house is oriented east west and our neighbor to the South cut down all his big trees and were an electric only household cuz gas was too expensive to get here and we have one fully electric car a Nissan leaf that uses about 5% of our annual power.I compared to two other vendors and their quote was much more cost-effective. My neighbor used them before me and he was very happy with the outcome as well.

Mike, Hailey, Dickson, Josh, Chase, Austin...every team member we worked with at MAD Energy NW was absolutely fantastic and we cannot recommend them enough.In the recent storm the electrical mast was torn off of our house. We were suddenly without power and had to scramble to hire an electrician to get our mast fixed and inspected before the electrical company would restore power. After a few hours of Yelping, Googling and asking friends and neighbors for recommendations, we ended up only getting a few responses. The first quote sounded alright and the guy seemed reasonable. Luckily we waited to hear back from Mike (who himself was dealing with a power outage and property damage from the storm) because not only was his price almost half of the other companys, he also shifted his teams around so they could take care of us the next day.Their site team (Josh, Chase, and Austin) were very friendly, answered ALL of our many questions and cleaned up after themselves. They also avoided punching a bunch of holes in our walls and ceiling like the other company said they needed to do. Josh even stayed late to make sure the work was done that day when our house threw him a curveball. While the work was being completed, their team also coordinated with the utility company and somehow managed to get them on site that same evening to have our power restored.On top of all this, they also coordinated directly with our home insurance to ensure we were reimbursed for all the work. One less headache for us to handle! Best of all, they managed to convince our insurance agent that they should cover an upgrade to our electrical panel.MAD made an incredibly stressful situation go smoother, get resolved faster and cost less than we had dared to hope for. This is a team that clearly cares about the quality of their work and their clients. We are so grateful to have found MAD and wish that all contractors were as impressive as this team.

I had a bad experience with an electrical contractor so I reached out to Mad Energy NW to fix all the errors from the other guy. Mad Energy NW is so professional, they quickly identified the errors and remedied them. I was very frustrated with the other guys and just needed the job done with the minimum of stress possible. They charged less then the first guy, was easier to work with and the work was so professional when he was done. Organized conduit and properly labeled panels and switches. 1000% better. Dont make the mistake I did, just hire these guys first.

I got a few different quotes for solar on my home and Mad Energy NW is the only company that did not try to sell me solar. They educated me about what it could do for my energy bill. They explained the process to me and put together a plan to try to offset my energy costs. They showed up when they said they would (should be normal but sadly is not) and they got everything installed in 2 days! Inspection with the city was smooth, as expected and they have been there for any questions Ive had going forward. 100% recommend them for any project!
