I called Gilbert electric because I had a problem with the kitchen fixture that wasnt working properly. They scheduled the work to be done and showed up exactly when they said they would. Chris, the main technician, and his helper Matt were very personable, professional, and skilled. They recognize the problem, fixed it promptly, cleaned up after themselves, and presented a very reasonable bill. I asked them if I could take advantage of their 10% senior discount, and they promptly applied it to the charge. I highly recommend Gilbert electric based on the excellent experience that I had with them.

I visited Gilbert Electric early Friday morning regarding a loss of power to my A/C in my home. Since it was unusually hot weather for late-September and the power loss occurred just at the end of the week before the weekend, I knew I was in dire straits and needed professional assistance ASAP. As it turned out, I arrived before the business was open for the day.My first encounter with an employee was with a very pleasant young female who, as it turned out, was a Journeyman Apprentice. Patiently and with interest, she listened as I described my situation before going to a gathering of her fellow electricians who were gathered in the parking lot. One of the electricians came over to me to ascertain additional details about my situation, then invited me inside the office to meet the Supervisor.The Supervisor was courteous, friendly and very much in control of operations. I provided my contact information and a map for directions to my home.In less than an hour later, two electricians - Chris and Max - were at my front door. They diagnosed the cause of the power loss (bad breaker in the outside breaker box) and repaired/replaced the faulty breaker in less time than it took to type this review.Heartily recommend Gilbert Electric if you need professional, efficient, and courteous electrical service. Customer Service like this is rare nowadays.

Marco incredibly nice, very professional. Checked my problem gave an estimate and got it repaired all in 4.5 hours. I will definitely use them again if needed. Good to have a local company with such great workmanship and experience.

Communication and scheduling between myself and this company was very professional and convenient for me. The technicians called me just before they arrived to let me know they were coming, and they arrive precisely on time. They offered me a senior discount for being over 65, which I didn’t even realize it was available. They came in and began working on my problem, finishing quickly and efficiently. They were courteous, clean, and professional. I would definitely recommend this company for any electrical work I needed done on my home or business.

If you are looking for a company that stands by their work, has a store front that you can walk into, and always shows up on time with a call letting you know they are on their way, this is the company. This is my go-to electricians. I, for one, am tired of all the handyman or fly by night electricians in this area and am forever grateful for Gilbert Electrician. I had a lot of issues with the wiring in my home and the crew practically had to rewire my kitchen. They didnt stop until they got everything done right and the bill was very reasonable. The receptionist, Karina was exceptionally kind and professional at all times. Finally, I can sleep well knowing I wont have an electrical fire from faulty wiring. Guys, just call them. They are the best in town. You wont regret it.

I found this company in the yellow book. Company is located in Athen and they serve Henderson and Van Zandt county. My business is in Wills Point, it is within the Van Zandt county. I had a faulty ballast in my commercial building that needed to be replaced and the job was executed within 20 minutes on site. They did an exceptional job. I was expecting to pay for their labor, however they charge travel fees too. My bill was $456. Took my breathe away. This company may be great for the locals of Athens but a little awareness for anyone out-skirt of Athens seeking them for a simple service as mine.

Gilbert was an absolut godsend They were able to help me out more than any other place that I called. They were fast and expedient and helped me out on the payment plan. They were able to get me back into my home within a day. And I would recommend them to everyone.

They were at my house well ahead of schedule and did an excellent job diagnosing my problems, replacing outdated and dangerous outlets, and fixing a fan that had been improperly installed by a general contractor. Very friendly people who put up with my extremely inquisitive and talkative children.
