After putting together most of a floor lamp Id ordered, when I got to the very last step, it dealt with wiring that seemed too thick and long for the lamp design, but, also, it required threading the wires into a very tight lightbulb socket. It was recommended by the company who sold me the lamp to hire an electrician to handle this task since it was a bit too complicated for the layman. After compiling a list of around 10 highly-rated electricians around Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, I called/emailed each one to see about dealing with my lamp. Out of all of them, I felt the most trust with Earl and Tara at Westrise Electric. They were prompt, kind, and I felt like we had the best, most communicative conversation out of everyone I spoke with. Their quote was also very reasonable; some other competitors tried to charge me three times what Westrise did, which would have cost more than the lamp itself lol. Im very happy with Earls work and would definitely use the services of Westrise again! Thank you, again, Tara and Earl!

My 90 year old mother had a heater on, and we thought it blew the circuit breaker, leaving her with no power. We called Westrise Electric at 4 pm, and by 6 pm, Earl Franklyn was working on the problem. It turn out to be a much complicated problem than the fuses. All the wires were burned in the electrical box. He made sure he left my mom with power for the night and came back the next day to install new electrical box and rewired cables to the electrical box. He prevented what it could have been a fire due to the terrible conditions of the burned wires. Earl was very professional and did a great job solving the problem.

Westrise installed 3 ceiling fans for me. They were extremely professional, courteous and prompt. They provided a very reasonable estimate of the work beforehand. Earl Franklyn has a very positive, upbeat attitude. The work was done expertly, with attention towards trying not to disturb neighbors. They were very clean and careful, and left no residual mess to clean up. They adhere to all regulations and even corrected some previous work that was not done to code. It was a pleasure working with them and I would recommend them very highly to anyone who needs excellent electrical work.

We called Westrise Electric to discuss wiring and power upgrades for a storage/utility room at our house. Were happy to give Westrise 5 and Earl, the master Electrician, 5 stars based on all aspects of their work, including:Assessment and Cost Estimate: Earl did a top-to-bottom evaluation of the existing electrical service and offered us a realistic analysis of what could and could not be done from the houses elect panels. The assessment included two site visits (at no cost), prior to presenting a detailed estimate of material and labor costs, impact on walls and ceilings, etc., as well as the anticipated project duration. The proposed cost was reasonable considering the scope and we agreed to proceed.The work started on time and was completed in 3 days. Earl and his assistant arrived on time every day, were careful working around the house and always left the areas clean and free of debris. The results were exactly as described in our contract, and were extremely happy with the added electric service. Earl is a true professional and we hope to work with him again on future projects.

In five hours, Westrise upgraded six outlets, took out a ceiling fan, installed a new overhead light, put in two new sconces AND created a new lightswitch for the sconces.
