    I recently had the pleasure of working with Don from Mac Masonry for a chimney repointing job, and I cant say enough about the outstanding experience. With a tight timeline due to an upcoming roof replacement and solar installation, I needed a reliable and efficient solution for my small chimney. After receiving exorbitant quotes from other companies that seemed more like a rip-off than a fair estimate, Don stood out with his reasonable and transparent pricing.Despite being incredibly busy with multiple projects—Don handles everything himself—he managed to fit my job into his schedule just days before my deadline on July 5th. True to his word, he arrived punctually and completed the job in just half a day. His professionalism was evident throughout, and he was even able to address an additional concern regarding the chimney cap. Don arranged to custom-order a replacement cap, which he installed a few days later at a very fair price.Don’s work was impeccable—clean, efficient, and executed with a level of skill that reflects his deep expertise in masonry.     I recently hired MAC Masonry to repoint leaking fieldstone foundation walls and disintegrated bricks at the base of the chimney in our basement. Don is responsive, hard-working, and a craftsman that pays attention to details. He keeps the work area clean as the project progresses. As important, he communicates realistic schedules. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

    Don did a superb job on my front steps. He was extremely patient while I was deciding what I wanted, and I couldnt be happier with the results. So many people who walked by commented on how great it looked. In fact, a neighbor on another block (no one I knew) was so impressed that she hired him for a major job of steps and a retaining wall. Don is a craftsman!

    MacMasonry is absolutely the BEST. Quality work, fast. Sure in what he is doing, well thought out project with outstanding results. I had the access steps repaired coming off the driveway apron, a limestone cap applied to finish a stone wall and a threshold step installed in the potting shed to replace crumbling cement. Amazing workmanship, dependable service all done with a ready smile and willing ear. Easily worth twice what he charges. This is my new favorite mason. A. Procopio, Sudbury , work done Fall2023.
