Very pleased with Jackson. We had various projects, including installation of track lighting, ceiling fan, replacement and relocation of several outlets/switches. The initial consultation was very valuable in identifying the scope of the work and most appropriate parts, lights and fixtures. Could not have been more pleased with the on site team that did the work. Everything was done on time exactly as scheduled and there was flexibility to add a few odds and ends identified after initial appointment. The guys were very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful in offering solutions/options on the fly. Very easy to work with and will readily use their services again. Thanks Jackson.

Great experience with this company! We have used them twice for planned home repairs and improvements. Both times they were responsive in terms of scheduling and the electricians who came out were punctual, professional, and courteous. We are happy to have found a company we trust to use for projects like these! This is an update: their company helped us do planned updates on the electrical system in our older house over several visits in a 6 month period. We found ourselves with a sudden emergency a few days ago when we noticed water dripping down from a light fixture (!!!). Our plumber came out right away and fixed that issue (a leaky toilet on the floor above) but recommended we call an electrician to make sure there was no fire hazard since the electrical box was involved. When we asked for a recommendation they suggested Jackson Electric, and since we use a top notch plumbing company we knew they wouldn’t steer us wrong.A friendly and pleasant lady answered the phone, and even though it was at the end of the day she was sympathetic and eager to help. Britt was here almost immediately. He took the light fixture apart, checked all the wiring, drained the water out that had accumulated and was able to assure us that we were safe. He was super professional, calm, courteous, and knowledgeable with a great attitude and sense of humor, and so happy to be able to help us and put our minds at ease even at that late hour. Not once did he seem put out or resentful, and by the time he left our frazzled nerves had been calmed. We learned later that Britt was actually the sales manager, which made an even bigger impression on us. This company was willing to do everything possible to help even a brand new customer, and at a very reasonable price.We can’t recommend Jackson Electric highly enough. One good thing came out of our household emergency.....now we have a great electrical company to add to our list of trusted professionals! We will definitely use them for all our electrical needs from now on. Thank you, Britt and Jackson Electric!!!

Very Honest and Professional.....I owe Jackson Electrical a debt of gratitude. I was a first time customer obtaining quotes to replace my Briggs and Stratton home generator. The generator was deemed unrepairable by my prior service company. Following a short assessment, Britt with Jackson informed me the generator could be repaired along with annual service for just a few hundred dollars.Runs like a top.....Its refreshing to know there are still honest / competent companies out there.Many Thanks ! !

I had a great experience with Jackson Electrical Co.. I wanted electric in my horse stalls and lights put in stall and tack room. Joe came and gave me a price, and at the end it was less than the quote! His employees were totally efficient and professional. They arrived on time and cleaned up all excess wires and took the boxes to discard of what they installed. Great service and super friendly!! JEC was very professional, and timely. I had them replace my old fuse box with a breaker panel, and a couple of other electrical odds and ends. They met all of my expectations, as well as changing out an old light switch while they had the panel off, which I had not asked for, but was very happy to find when I came home. I had expected that they would do some damage to the drywall with the work I needed done, but they managed to work around it all ,putting no more holes in my walls!

Not sure where to begin. Lets start with incompetent. I had a simple job that required a 22 line to allowed be switched between 2 different appliances. (A hot tub or a patio heater) The job was completed and a switch installed a year earlier by a different electrician at a different company. After a year, things stopped working and only one appliance was being fed power. I called Jackson electric. The sent out tow men to come and look at things. They opened the box holding the switch and saw that it had burnt out, actually melted some of the plastic housing. They then proceeded to look for a replacement switch. I showed them what was originally used and they went on Amazon and also called their boss, looked at the switch and proceeded to tell me the switch to buy (which was th same as what they were removing.. their explanation being it was a bad switch initially). The new switch arrived and they came back to install it, which they did. They could not get he switch to switch between devices. They thought perhaps it was a problem with the hot tub. They then went to the hot tub and removed the front panel and checked all the electronics. They could not find anything. They then went back to the switch and continued to try to figure out why it was not working. They called their manager again and then told me that they believed that it was the wire coming from my electrical panel on the other side of the house that must have burned out... it was going to need to be replaced. They said my options were to either rip out my ceiling in the lower level and re-run the wire or to feed a 220 line from the opposite side of the house where a connection was and bury the line outside. That would require digging a 120 foot long trench 15 inches deep. I offered to do that to save on cost.They left and I proceeded to start digging a ditch. I dug about 45 feet of the 120 all 15 deep. The next visit was from their boss and he came and looked at things. He then told me the switch they ordered was a 220 switch but the line feeding that switch was only 110..and that is why it burned out. He told me to order a 110 switch which he pointed out, and he would come back and install it. I ordered the switch, he came back and installed it (took about 10 minutes) and everything worked fine.Jackson Electric the proceeded to send me a bill for $1,600 (with a discount reducing it to $1,200. When I informed them the bill was obviously incorrect and explained it was due to incompetence, because they were charing me for labor to visit and installation efforts of the incorrect switch they selected, they said OK, then $600. (Conveniently in half) When I asked them for a breakdown of the visits and time, they simply took the $600 and broke it down to their number of visits stating that was the cost to conveniently equal $600. I then told them I would only pay for the initial call and visit on the first day (when the faulty switch was identified and the correct one to buy should have been identified and the time on the last to install that correct switch. I was not going to pay for their time and multiple visits to install the incorrect switch they selected.I told them, by calculating their rates, the first visit and the last would total no more than $270. They had no contract, no actual log of time/spent/work done.. it was just a guessing game on their part. I sent them a check for $270 which was more than generous as their boss, on the last visit told me he would not charge for the service call, but I offered to pay fo the time he spent installing the switch.So, my advice is stay away.. they are inexperienced and use a dart board for pricing. I offered them $270 and they said OK. from their original $1600 invoice - which is further proof they have no record keeping or any system to assess their jobs or pricing and most importantly, very poor experience in electrical work. They are clueless and I would not, especially with electrical work, put my life in their hands and then pay them their made up invoice.

My realtor recommended JEC, Inc. I called them to my new house in Hendersonville to trouble shoot an attic fan, install a GFCI for a dehumidifier, install a light timer in the basement, and trace an electrical wire. After meeting with a gentleman from the gas company the same day of Joe Jacksons visit, I also had him install a ground wire to the gas line inside our house for a future gas line run. Joe is exceptionally friendly, honest, prompt, and professional. It is hard to find all of these attributes in one individual in any trade or customer service position these days. Cannot recommend JEC enough.

The guys at Jackson Electric were great to work with. We had recessed lights installed in the kitchen and it looks great. They were on time courteous and professional. We ran into an problem when installing one of the lights. There was a support bean in the way but they got creative and solved the issue. We had a slight miscommunication on the location of one of the lights and ended up getting an extra light installed and they didn’t charged us for it. Now that’s service.If you have any lighting or electrical needs I would definitely recommend Jackson Electric.
