    My elderly father broke his femur, so we wanted to get a walk-in shower installed on the first floor of his home before he returned there from a rehabilitation facility. I contacted Rausch plumbing to get an estimate on this fast-track project for which I would do the carpentry work and supply some materials. Although they were booked out farther than the date we hoped to have the project completed, Eric Rausch was able to provide a detailed proposal and squeeze the work into their schedule to complete on our timeline.     Our first time using Tim Rausch and it wont be our last. We are very impressed by their promptness and communication. Our hot water heater went out. I called 3 plumbing businesses, and Rausch was the first to return my call. We had an appointment scheduled immediately and didnt hear from the other plumbers until the following day.     Have used these guys for 3 separate house calls (including a late night holiday emergency call), and always amazing craftsmanship and customer service. Tim’s son, Eric, was even able to save me a service call just now by helping to troubleshoot a sump pump issue via their text service. Great customer service like this isn’t common these days, but is much appreciated. Look no further when looking for your next plumber in the Fox Valley.

    I would recommend this company to anyone I know. I had some issues with a stubborn toilet that didn’t want to be fixed. Tim Rausch restored my faith completely and sent Ben out to resolve all of my problems. What makes me love this company even more is that at first it wasn’t working out but in the end the owner himself made sure everything was taken care of.     Ben and Eric were so great to work with! Very organized and paid close attention to detail. They put in new shower/tub fixtures as well as faucet fixtures. To say they go above and beyond is an understatement! After they left, a shower head was leaking. Turned out to be a bad carriage gasket. Not anything to do with the work they did. They promptly came back to fix it (on a Friday afternoon, none the less). There service and positive attitude should be commended. I HIGHLY recommend Tim and his team!!!

    Our toilet broke and we only have one. I called around 8:45, Tim, Jr was here by 9 and it was all fixed by 10. He worked quickly and was very careful not to leave a mess. We have called them before and I will call them again.

    We have used Rausch twice now. Initially, we hired them in an emergency situation when our water heater broke. They provided same day service and did a great job. Since we had such a good experience, we decided to hire them again when we wanted to add a half bath into a previous hall/closet space. Everyone I worked with in the process was great. The whole crew was very professional and friendly. They listened to what I wanted. They even went as far as replacing one of my outdoor solar lights that got broken in the midst of the job. The whole job turned out great. I love my new bathroom! I wouldnt hesitate to hire them again!

We use Tim for all plumbing needs. Always excellent customer service and quality work. Are they the cheapest? Nope, but water can destroy your home so I choose a quality plumber with fair pricing over “cheap”.

    I cannot say enough good things about my bathroom remodel experience. Doug and Luke were there all week and Mitch for half the week.     This review goes out to Tim Rausch plumbing and Tim Rausch Jr.My mom called them on Tuesday or Wednesday and they had appointments opened today, Friday. Tim Rausch Jr. came and was on time.     Eric and the Tim Rausch Plumbing team delivered again! My second time getting work done with them and Im just as happy as the first time. They were very professional and efficient, and did a very high quality job. They also explained things to me and answered all of my questions. I got a new hot water heater installed, as well as a new kitchen sink and faucet installed and all of the plumbing underneath the kitchen sink and into the basement was replaced.     Exceptional service. We first used Rausch Plumbing to install a new sump pump. Eric was fast, professional, and courteous. Great experience overall. Most recently, my sump pump starting leaking and ended up shooting water up in the air. I called after hours and the owner, Tim, was at my house in 20 minutes (my fault). The issue was quickly resolved. The work ethic and professionalism really can’t be matched. We can’t recommend them enough.

    We’ve used this company twice and I refuse to use anyone else. They are prompt, super polite, and very affordable. A different plumber had quoted me a ton of expensive repairs and the plumber from Tim Rausch, Jared, did a great job of explaining why certain repairs weren’t needed. They saved me a ton of money and remodeling headaches. This morning I got a check in the mail for $19 because of an accidental overcharge on a leak repair. I hadn’t asked for an estimate ahead of time and wasn’t aware of being overcharged in the first place. Very honest, very affordable, and very friendly.

    Our neighbor recommended this company when I mentioned how much I HATED having an electric stove. I called and they were able to quote me right away on installing a gas line/connect so I could switch from an electric stove to gas stove.They were here (early) this morning and had it done within an hr!     Tim Rausch plumbing came to fix a variety of issues with several toilets one running after flushing, one leaking, another not flushing properly. Plus an outdoor faucet that was dripping. We decided two toilets needed replacing, they made a recommendation on what to replace them with and got it all done in one afternoon. We are very happy with their recommended toilet. In addition we wanted a disposal added to a sink but first needed an electrician to add power. They discussed the plan with us and gave us a better solution. They are our go to plumber. We have used them several times and have always been happy

    We have a Richmond water heater. The gas valve went out on a Saturday night. I was able to call after hours to get assistance. After a few quick text message pictures of my water heater he had a plan.A technician was out on Sunday with a replacement part. Luckily everything is covered under warranty. Tim Rausch Plumbing is listed as an approved plumber for Richmond water heaters too for warranty work. So if you wind up calling the warranty number to get help, instead of reading Google reviews, hes listed with Richmond/Rheem to help.

    Broke our shower faucet last weekend and had to shut off the main water valve. Called other plumbers, but they didnt have anyone to help on the weekend or couldnt give me an estimate over the phone. Called Tim, and he didnt have a skilled plumber to do the job that day, but he gave me advice through pictures and texts on what to do to cut out the old faucet valve and cap the water lines so that I could turn the water back on. He came out on Monday and got the shower faucet replaced and did a small job as well with no extra charge! Great service, reasonable price - highly recommend him as your go-to plumber!

    This is a review to just share my gratitude for Greg & Rausch Plumbing going above and beyond with a phone consult to help deal with a water heater issue:The plumber that had installed a tankless water heater in our home had been helping with an issue, but when the issue continued, that plumber just told me to contact the manufacturer.     They came out on a weekend to replace a valve in a approximately 1 year old Rheem water heater. They were fast and efficient. I was told they would check for warranty on the part and never heard back from them. They did cash my check 3 weeks later so Im guessing no warranty. My landlord said I was excessively over charged for the repair. Over $600.1-31-22 I am updating my review to be fair. Today I did receive re-imbursement for the part. They were just waiting for the warranty to process the claim. Kudos to Tim Rausch Plumbing.

    Eric came out the first time to remove the plumbing for my sink install. When he came back out to install the new faucet and plumbing he did an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in the process. He even went above and beyond by helping me fix my dishwasher, which he did not charge me for. If anyone is looking for a plumber I would rate them 10/10.

    Exceptional customer service! We had one of two water heaters go out-- sent an email overnight and by 8 a.m. I received a call. They were able to get us in during the afternoon--- the plumber called to check in before coming over as a courtesy. There were a few updates needed to make our system work more efficiently (since we had two heaters)...he explained how it would work, installed everything perfectly, and cleaned up so there was no sign they were even here! Before Rausch arrived we did have one other plumber over to give us a quote-- they were certainly not as professional, did not call prior to showing up early, and they charged $300 more for a lower quality, poorly reviewed water heater. We now have a great, quality water heater in place and a new plumber we will use for all of our plumbing needs in the future!

    I recently called Tim Rausch Plumbing to get an estimate to replace a bathroom sink. I received two estimates: one if they just did the standard work and the other if they had to do any cutting. After getting several other estimates I decided to go with them. They were on time, introduced themselves, asked questions and got right to work. Very professional. They put the new sink in and it looks wonderful. They did have to do some cutting and the estimate that they gave me was exactly what it cost. I called frantically looking for help as we were having our first Thanksgiving at our new house the next day.     Id recommend Tim Rausch plumbing in a heartbeat. We had Eric come out to troubleshoot a faucet. He first tried the inexpensive fix, replacing a cartridge, and only after that failed did he suggest replacing the unit.     My experience with Tim Rausch Plumbing goes back to almost 6 years ago when we bought a new house and there were some tweaks that were needed with the master toilet and a new technology hot water heater that was having problems and we had several calls to fix it. The customer service was superb as they tried to trouble shoot this new hot water heater. They had to come on the weekend one of the times to fix it and found out it was actually defective, and replaced it and weve had no issues since. Fast forward 6 years later, we had Tony and Ryan visit us today to fix a toilet that was running and a leaky garbage disposal. They were prompt for the appointment time, very respectful and efficient. Literally had both issues fixed within minutes it seemed and the garbage disposal had to be replaced. Tony did a great job explaining the options to us so we could pick out a new one.     My water heater stopped working in the midst of the biggest snow storm of the year (4/14/18) with a sick wife and two sick kids. All my wife wanted to do was take a hot shower after being sick for two days. Of course, the hot water heater had stopped working. It was 7 PM on a Saturday night and I was expecting to get a voice mail....boy was I surprised when Tim answered the phone.     I don’t do a lot of reviews for anything, but I cannot recall a better experience than what Rausch Plumbing provided me and my family. I hired them to do an install of a water heater that seemed to be leaking natural gas (WE Energies has been to our house 3 times in the last 2 years to investigate the smell, but never found the source of any leak).How they stood out from others I have hired in the past:1) They had me immediately call the utility company to check for a leak, and said that they would be able to find the source of the leak (which they were sure wasn’t the water heater). Safety was abundant.2) They found the leak which has been eluding us for a year! They found a copper gas pipe which had been punctured by a staple coming out of the subfloor of the first floor above. With enough movement, we could hear the gas hiss out of the pipe.3) They also helped me get a crew (at the end of a day) out to replace the gas pipe so we could turn our heat and new water heater on.4) They identified power vent pipe for the water heater installed previously was made for water and not very hot exhaust from the heater.While I spent more than I had planned on for the day, I would pay the same and more for the service, quality and advice they provided. Do not hesitate to hire them.

    My husband and I noticed a leak that was coming from our water heater, that had apparently been leaking ALL day. It was bad. After trying everything we could to stop it, we contacted Rausch Plumbing, and instead of charging us an after hours call, they instructed my husband how to stop the leak for the mean time and told us they would contact us in the morning.     We called Rausch Plumbing because they had the best reviews on Google and we had a clogged shower drain that needed fixing. I was very pleased to see that their reviews were spot on. Not only were they extremely helpful and fixed our clogged drain, they really went above and beyond to correct the underlying issue. He gave us an estimate before he did any work to make sure we were okay with the price. I felt that for the work they did, the price was very reasonable! He also explained to me what was wrong in the first place and how he fixed it.     I had Tim Rausch move some plumbing into an adjacent wall and install a new bathtub. When their quote came in it was so much lower than every other plumber I called I was almost nervous to hire them (sometimes the cheapest is not the best). I decided to anyway and I do not regret it. The two plumbers he sent out did a great job and the tub looks great. The greatest part of hiring them came after the fact. I had some problems with the tub after they installed it. It was nothing they did wrong but instead with the way the tub was made. Tim took the time to trouble shoot and plan solutions that went above and beyond what I had hired him for, even offering to send one of his guys out at a reduced price despite the fact that he was not obligated to help me at all. I didnt end up needing to bring the plumber back but the offer spoke volumes. Finally when the bill came in the mail it was CHEAPER than they had quoted. Apparently they figured the quote wrong and even though I never would have been the wiser they charged me the right amount.

There were two issues to contend with that werent expected at least by me, but Eric just handled it all. Wonderful young man.     Tony and Ryan came to our home to evaluate a plumbing problem with our toilet and to check another toilet in the house. They were very professional and knowledgeable. We decided the toilet needed replacing (it is very old). Our options were thoroughly explained to us. Once we made a decision, the work done was done well and they even cleaned up afterwards. These two gentlemen were very courteous, professional, acted like the great team they are, and were a pleasure to have in our home.     A few months ago we had a clogged kitchen sink that required professional service and I called Tim to help me out. He spent about an hour trying to clear the clog with various methods and just didnt have a long enough tool. He recommended a local router specialist and did not charge me for his time and effort... Subsequently we called Tim to help with a bathroom remodel and cooktop replacement ~ the bathroom went without a hitch, but the cooktop did not fit into our granite hole (which we suspected might be the case). Tim recommended a stainless steel filler plate design and directed me to a fabricator who jumped on my project immediately. Final install looks great and one more project finished successfully!
