    Had my HVAC replaced recently and Sergio, Josh, and Cole did a fantastic job! I am very pleased with the install and performance. Mike was also incredibly patient and helpful during the purchasing process. He took the time to answer all of our questions leading up to the day of the install and made sure we were taken care of.     We have been using Maynor Services for over 6 years and are very pleased with their services. We have a maintenance agreement on both of our units and they come out twice a year to provide services. They have been able to identify at least one issue prior to it becoming a complete shutdown and ultimately saving us money. They are respectful of our home and responsive to needs that we have.

    June2024: still very happy with Maynor. Just had the plumbing dept install a laundry room sink. Darryl the plumber did an excellent job. Even the way the drywall was cut was meticulous. I appreciate that they kept us in the loop as to what to expect and also if any changes cropped up.March2024 We’ve used Maynor for a few years now mostly for HVAC service/repairs. They are always very professional and thorough in their work. I have no hesitation recommending them.

    Recently decided to try Maynor for a full HVAC replacement, since theyre a local business. The sales guy was very knowledgeable and gave us several options to consider. Selecting equipment with good availability was a priority for us since the A/C was completely out, and we were looking at options before a long holiday weekend. The installation team arrived at the appointment time the following week and completed the install in less than one day. No issues with permit inspection. Were very satisfied and enjoying having A/C again.

    Today was my first experience with Maynor Service Company and I must say it was a very positive one. The technician, Armando, arrived on time to service my home heat pumps. He was very professional and courteous. He explained everything he would be doing on this visit and answered my questions and concerns very thoughtfully and completely. Overall, it was an excellent first impression of Armando and the Maynor company as a whole.

    Byron, Marc and Seth were very professional and provided me with great service, information about the HVAC system I was buying and their process of installation. They were careful not to mark up the walls when bringing the large system into the house and thru the attic hatch and also laid down floor coverings whereever they walked.

    Have been using Maynor for some time now on my main house units with excellent service, proactive approaches to extend the life of the units, and make them as efficient as possible. They came out today (Angel) to help me with a garage mini-split unit where it was not working properly. He helped me get the unit back in working condition, made some recommendations for maintenance and future work – leaving me again with a nice cool workspace. Thank you Maynor (and of course Angel) for once again excellent service, friendly, and professionalism! Will remain my preferred AC service for a long time!

    Marc and Freddy, a team from Maynor Services, installed my new air conditioning/heater located in my attic area. It was a big job and they completed it in one day. They were very courteous , well organized having brought all needed materials on the truck first thing in the morning. They really knew what they were doing and worked efficiently all day. I want to express my appreciation for the entire Maynor team, they proactively covered scope of work and estimate preparation (no change orders or extras), Code inspections, warranty applications, system operation training and cleanup. They finished up by turning over a complete operation and maintenance package. I highly recommend the Maynor Services organization for Heating and Air Conditioning work.

    Armando came out today to do the semi-annual service on my 2 units, but I surprised him with a repair. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and order the replacement part; he was very thorough and checked the upstream parts too. I appreciate the time he took to explain the problem and answer my questions. Since he had to order the part, we rescheduled the service and repair. Maynor has the nicest staff and technicians; highly recommend this company for these reasons and reasonable reliable service.

    I highly recommend Maynor if you need to replace your HVAC system. Our salesperson, Mike, laid out our options, good/better/best, and we chose better. We wanted a Trane system to match the upstairs system that they had replaced five years ago without issue. This morning Austin and Mike installed the new system. It took them ten hours. Their professionalism, work ethic and workmanship were amazing.

    I have used Maynor to service my HVAC systems and recently purchased a new one from them. My experience with Maynor could not be better. They are always friendly, professional and helpful. They will go above and beyond what is required. I recently had an unusual issue regarding a rebate. Though it was nothing they could control, Jessica brought the issue to the attention of Duke Energy and got it resolved even though she did not have to do that. Things like that are certainly above and beyond the typical service and show they truly care about their customers. I believe in using local vendors as much as possible. I highly recommend Maynor for any of your service needs.

    The removal of the old HVAC system was done quickly and efficiently. The new system was installed with great attention to detail. Technicians Ned and Freddy were professional and worked non-stop until the new system was up and running. Nef reviewed the system features and functions with me and made sure I had a good understanding of the new system. Maynor Heating and Cooling have great company representation with Nef and Fredy.

    We have had a service contract for multiple years and the time came that we chose to replace our 13 year old system BEFORE 100 degree weeks came since we were having “aging issues”.     Needed to replace an HVAC unit. We didnt think we would be able to get it installed before the Thanksgiving holiday, but Maynor made it happen.     We have been so happy with Maynor services. Our unit was almost 25 years old and we were waiting for it to be repaired again, and decided it was time to replace it instead. My husband encouraged me to call Maynor and they were able to replace it within 2 days. One of the manufacturers settings wasn’t working correctly and they sent someone out the next day to re-program it and even sent a tech out a few days later to replace our filter grill.     Marc and Cole were the Maynor technicians who installed our new heating/cooling system. Very friendly and very hardworking. It was an extremely hot day and they had to work upstairs in our attic which I am sure the temperature was well over 100 degrees. They worked the entire hot day and didn’t even break for lunch. I felt so bad for them to have to work in those conditions but they were amazing!

    Today’s experience with Everardo completing a diagnostic visit was extremely professional and thorough for the following reasons:- called 30-40 min in advance so I had ample notice. (Some companies say you’ll get a call, then you don’t until they show up at your door.)- protected my floors by using boot covers (I did not request, he was prepared when I open the front door).- very respectful. Especially in tone and verbiage.- thorough review of diagnostic findings, including pictures and general education on why the findings were important. Took life safety into account, letting me know he did not turn our system back on and doesn’t advise we do so until repairs are made to eliminate the potential of carbon monoxide leaking back into the house from our particular issue. Clearly took his time thinking through all aspects of our HVAC system that could’ve lead to our issue, and explained his thoughts clearly and systematically - including duct sizing, maintenance over time, furniture placement possibly impeding airflow to return, advisement to use different filter type, etc. He also suggested we review any potential warranty that may have conveyed when we bought our house and what types of warranties we might benefit from if the unit was registered at install several years ago.- provided good explanation of next steps with his company for full unit replacement estimate.- asked if I’d like pictures of internal HVAC parts along with invoice (yes, and are attached )FYI, I was referred to call Maynor by a close family member who has 52 years of Civil/Mechanical engineering experience (aka they really know their stuff). This family member does not give out referrals lightly and Maynor provided clear quality of workmanship and service to this family member in full replacement of upstairs and downstairs HVAC units at their house in the Chapel Hill area.

    I contracted with Maynor to do a full replacement of an aging HVAC system. Drew came out and did a thorough inspection of the existing system and explained what the replacement would entail. He also gave me a couple of options. I was surprised at how quick they were able to schedule the work. Bayron and Vincente were in and out in one day and completed the job to my full satisfaction. They left my home clean and my new unit was up and running by mid afternoon. Highly recommend!

    Maynor performed a pre-closing inspection of the HVAC system on a house we recently purchased. The inspection identified several deficiencies that needed to be corrected to get the AC system operating at optimal performance levels. After a full day of service calls, your service techs Robert (and Armando) came out at around seven p.m. and made all the recommended corrections and upgrades previously identified. Robert is a true professional. He (and Armando) not only took their time to make all the upgrades, Robert is very patient and very thorough in his work. And he took the time to answer all my questions. Both gentlemen stayed as long as it took to do a fantastic job. If Robert is any example of your typical worker, I would recommend Maynor to anyone who needs good residential HVAC service!Thanks for a job well done!

Ended up replacing the unit and very satisfied with the speed to deliver and install new packaged unit.     When hurricane Fran hit Raleigh in 1996, my dad was able to buy a portable generator; however, it didnt support the whole house. I drew up a chart showing which loads could be run at the same time and which loads had to be turned off. We had to feed it gas constantly; and as with most portable generators, it wasnt wired to code. We had to manually switch between utility and generator. This is bad news if your house is being powered by utility and generator at the same time. But with all these drawbacks, it provided a sense of security to our family knowing that Pop-Pop had a generator. Well Pop-Pop is no longer with us, and I want to provide the same sense of security to my family. After much consideration, I chose a Kohler whole-house generator with automatic transfer switches. If a loss of utility is detected, the generator powers itself up and switches automatically to support the load. It even has ethernet and wireless connections so you know generator status at all time. From start to finish the people at Maynor Service Company made me feel like I had made the right decision. They did a load calculation to assist in choosing the right size generator. They came up with a plan to route the natural gas to the generator. They came up with a plan to locate and mount the automatic transfer switches. They came up with a plan to route the electrical wiring to the existing service panels and generator. All of their work was neat and clean. They answered all my questions with patience and courtesy. My house was built in 1971. I have dealt with several service people, and I can say that Maynor is at the top of the list. I am happy with everything they did for me. Thank you Maynor.

    Weve been working with Maynor HVAC since we moved to Cary, NC, in 2017 - Anthony Maynor was the guy who I met with back then. They installed our new, energy efficient HVAC systems and have been servicing them ever since. One of our units stopped cooling last week, and they were able to come out, repair the issue and file the warranty claim quickly. Our technician was great - very communicative and made sure we didnt have any additional questions or concerns. We highly recommend Maynor HVAC.

    Jacob was able to inspect our unit on very short notice before labor day weekend. Diagnosed as a failed evap coil. He showed us the failure and described the replacment process. We expected to be without A/C for a week, but we were pleasantly surprised when Jacob had our system up and running three days ahead of schedule!The invoice was extremely well documented and I am very satisfied with the repair that was done to our unit. Its very hard to find honest A/C repair companies these days, my faith in humanity has been restored.

    Friday, our AC was not working. Saturday, I called Maynor Service to have a technician come and check. Yucel (not sure if I got his name right), the technician came on time on Tuesday to checked and let us know that the AC unit was very old, suggest us to replaced. He even opened the unit to make sure that I see how bad my AC unit was. It was 24 years old AC unit. He called Mike Langdon to come inspected and give us a proposal. Mike, he is a great man, he gave me a quote with 2 different options, explained the pros and cons of both. After got another quote from different company, we decided to go with Maynor Service Company. The best part is that they came and installed the HVAC system on the next day, Wednesday. Sergio and Austin, they are the technicians that Installed the HVAC Unit at our house. Look at the photos, you can tell they did an amazing job. All of the work was done in a timely manner and the end result was perfection! I would highly recommend Maynor Service for anyone who are having trouble with heating and cooling system.

    We had our hvac unit break down in the recent heat wave warnings… Maynor was super in scheduling a diagnostic asap, and then the technician Jacob was just great. He knew exactly what happened, and gave me good estimate of when it would be fixed. It appeared to be that the motor was gone and he called the company, told me its in warranty and then ordered the part. It was brutal for 2 days without ac but we were glad Jacob came and fixed it on Wednesday with one more technician. All along both Jacob and maynor customer service were very responsive & professional.Highly recommend maynor service plan

    I wanted to say these guys stick behind their products, we had an issue with our new unit which they tried multiple times to resolve, sometimes even the best Trane models have issues.     I’m amazed at their honesty and professionalism. Our existing unit was on its last leg. We received quotes from three highly rated companies. But Maynor, by far, head and shoulders above the rest. Jim, what a great man, gave me a quote with three different options, explained the pros and cons of all. He never pushed me one way or the other. From the day of the quote to the date of install….five days!! (Including the weekend). We couldn’t be any happier. Oh, I even checked our trash can outside….nothing. They even took all their trash with them. Seriously, it’s the little things that really make them special.

Maynor Service has done three things for us so far: new heat pump on 2nd floor and a free maintenance checkup on electrical and plumbing. Their people are awesome, and the work looks good so far.November 2024: Everything is working fine. My only complaints:1 - They did not enroll me in their maintenance plan automatically. Consequently my units went an extra year between service visits.2 - The service tech did not change me filter on the 1st floor unit, even tho I had the filter on hand.

During a recent routine service call, the tech Everardo took the time to assess and correct things out of scope for a routine call. He crawled through very tight crawl spaces to adjust dampers and even discovered an error I with the wiring on a Nest thermostat that was only using auxiliary backup heat.     We replaced our air conditioner and heater upstairs. I got quote from 4 HVAC companies, recommended by Duke Energy. we wanted to go with Trane dual fuel heat pump. Maynors sales persons Dustin was the most honest and gave a quote for what I needed (at 3 different price points). He explained the Duke Energy rebate and Federal IRS rebate programs for the options. He did not upsell anything and pressure me into buying. On the installation day Bayron and Devan did a great job. They started out with covering our floors with non-slip moving blankets. The installation took about 5 hours and they did a great job with great attitude. Bayron and Devan worked well as a team and after installation, they explained what they did.     Maynor AC company did outstanding job for me during their installation and follow-up about inspection and rebates etc. Their price quotes were also competive regarding Trane AC/Furnace combo when comparing with other major local AC distributors. I got reference from my neighbor who installed AC with Maynor. On the 1st day when their technicians came to install, they suffered unexpected wasp attachs which make their work paused (they noticed a big wasp nest over my AC location in the bush later on). They didnt complain me but instead helping me quickly find a wild animal treatment company who came on same morning to treat the wasp nest, and they gave me 2 free temporary window ACs to use on that day, and then they came back on next day to finish everything nicely. They were even able to wire my wireless upstairs thermostat, so I could actually get a new thermostat instead of having to keep the old one (because of how my old thermostat was installed).     The Guys at Maynor were amazing. Austin and Matthew at Maynor were the installers. The found several issues with the existing duct work and they made the repairs at no additional charge. The new system is very quiet and the air flow from the registers is better and has more balanced air flow. I have a good friend in the commercial HVAC business, and he said to give Ken at Maynor a call and said they would treat you RIGHT. They did just that on price scope of word and the quality and workmanship put into the new installation. If you do not contact Maynor for you HVAC you are making a HUGE mistake. Let me begin by saying that if anyone can have Robert come to their house for work, youre going to have the best possible experience you can have with repair. Not only was he friendly, respectful of our home, and efficient, he was also willing to explain what repairs he was making as well as educated us on how our systems operate. He stayed at our house late because he was a late afternoon call and not once did he complain or show a sense of wanting to go.     Maynor Service Company installed new 2x AC and 2x furnace unites for my home a year ago. They sent two teams, removed old units, and installed new ones, all done in one day, which was just a week after I accepted their quotes and made 50% down payment. They also did all the paperwork, registration with manufacturer for warranty and Duke Energy for rebate (which I received within the promised time frame). The new installation passed local town inspection without any issue. Maynor also followed with two free maintenance services (6 months apart) in the first year after installation.     Replaced my 2 A/C units and furnaces with new Trane units. Everything done very professionally. Started out with one of the guys asking me to show him the breaker boxes, etc. and then he walked me through what they were going to do. Floor was covered from the front door to the attic and they went to work. They were done in the early afternoon. Afterwards one of the guys showed me everything on the new units, how they drain, etc., then how to work the new programmable thermostats. The units outside were put on new pads that were nicely leveled with gravel. They left me with a binder of warranty information personalized to my installation. I did have one thing I wanted them to double check a few days later and they sent a supervisor out to do that and made sure everything was good. I couldnt be happier and would recommend them to anyone else in need of their services.

    We have used Maynor for both an initial cleaning/servicing of our HVAC system and for a replacement.The initial technician was very helpful and professional. He took pictures and showed where the system had been corroding and growing mold, and described the services we would need to give our system the best chance of lasting.Given the state of our system after this inspection and cleaning, we decided to replace our 15 year old gas package with an electric heat pump package. We received quotes from multiple companies. We chose Maynor. They scheduled the replacement/conversion for 5 days later on the day I requested, arrived on time, and completed the work at the quoted price. Austin, Marcus, and Jaime handled the installation, which included electrical work to convert the heating from gas to electric. They also replaced our thermostat. Everyone acted professionally, the work looks good, and the system has worked as intended so far. We have no complaints.

    I contacted Maynor to schedule a plumbing and electrical inspection and to my surprise and satisfaction was able to schedule the appointment for the following day for both services. The plumbing technician, Seth, was very nice and did a great job thoroughly inspecting all of the sinks, tub, showers and water lines. The electrician, Chris K., was excellent and tremendously helpful as well as he inspected the outlets throughout the house, ensured smoke and CO2 detectors were present and checked the connections outside and ensured these items were code compliant as well. Moreover, Chris kindly took time to explain additional services that he and Maynor could provide regarding electrical work inside our home. Ultimately, the service provided by Maynor and the technicians has been exceptional and excellent and the company and technicians receive a recommendation from us!

    Maynor is one of the most responsive services companies Ive ever dealt with !!! I had an unexpected water heater failure and Maynor was able to rally the resources to have a new water heater installed in 4 HOURS!!! Mike (the installer) was terrific.I also purchased a standby generator (Kohler) from Maynor. Tom G. was the installer and was absolutely tenacious in his job execution. There were several interruptions during the install (gas lines, county inspectors, etc) but Tom never stop pushing to complete the install. Absolutely fabulous.

    Tom and Maynor are the best. We bought a home that ended up having a bunch of different issues that we were not prepared for. Tom came out and installed our Tesla charger, our generator and an overall assessment of our home. Tom found live outlets and readied our home for the next phase of remodeling. Since I already had another electrician repairing I opted to take a partial refund. The team who performed my work originally are no longer with the company. Norm is amazing and why I went with them in the first place.Original review: Electrical work performed on exterior of home used internal wiring and conduit. Having to replace all external work to code. Would not recommend them for electrical work. Smoke detector inside was also not wired properly. We now have to spend $$ to fix the work.HVAC work was done correctly except for a few leaks that were fixed. Jessica is great and Gary has always been great for maintenance. My review is for electrical only.

    We purchased a Trane system from Maynor Service Company in April 2022, and have had excellent service since the beginning. Mike, our technician, has come several times for maintenance visits for our system and each visit he goes above and beyond the call of duty! In December, a mouse chewed through wires in our unit and Mike was able to temporarily rewire it (and keep the heat running!) until the replacement part could arrive. Another time, I wanted to order the air filters for my system and Mike assisted me to make sure I ordered the correct ones! Later, he even installed them after they arrived, when he was here for something else. Mike also informed me that my APCO UV system ballast was bad but should be covered under a lifetime warranty. Because of Mikes knowledge, I was able to contact APCO and get them to honor the warranty and ballast replacement -- even though it had been installed by another company who had failed to register it! Mike always communicates well about system updates and any charges, is very professional, and extremely courteous. Highly recommend Mike and Maynor Service Company!

    I had a great experience with Maynor Services. I had problems with a furnace. Mike Langdon, one of their Project Managers, inspected it and did a flow assessment of my home. He diagnosed the problem and said it needed to be replaced. He also noted that the old furnace was oversized and recommended a smaller less expensive one. Within a couple of days a Maynor team, Junior, Bieri, and Josh arrived to replace the furnace. They were polite, professional, and cleaned up everything before they left. In addition they filled out an affidavit with the state to see if I could get credit for the replacement and a residential rebate claim form for Dominion Energy which will provide me gas credits for the installation.     Have been using Maynor for a long time… bought a new house in 2019 and didn’t know it but the builders put in a very poor contractor grade HVAC system that was underpowered for my 2000 sq ft home and unreliable. I called Maynor and they discovered badly rusted evaporator coils… my choice was to replace the coils for $1400 or buy a whole new system. I decided I did t want to spend $1400 to fix a P.O.S. hvzc unit so I had them install a brand new Trane XR system as well as install an air scrubber and a uv light to prevent mold, mildew and improve my indoor air quality. The service was top notch, they were efficient, cleaned up after the install, explained everything and I am quite satisfied. Definitely recommend.

    Maynor recently replaced our heat pump. I spoke with about 6 contractors for this work, and I would have felt comfortable choosing Maynor or one of the others. However, Maynor was obviously the better choice up front.Dustin was a great sales representative.1 - He performed and provided a thorough heatload calculation before making any recommendations for replacement. This should always be done, but only 2 out of the 6 contractors I spoke to actually did this instead of guessing.2 - Dustin offered to quote me whatever level of system I asked for, but made his recommendation clear despite it being a simpler, lower cost solution.3 - His pricing beat the competitors by a significant amount on comparable systems. No pricing gimmicks or upcharges. No scare tactics about moldy ducts, etc.4 - Follow up communications were quick and clear. I was able to ask questions, finalize the sale, and schedule the install very easily, always having a real person get back to me in short order.On the day of the install, everything went smoothly. Kudos to their 2-person crew (Im sad to say I cant recall their names) for navigating a couple challenges and doing a great job overall.1 - The crew took most of the full day to install the compressor and coil/fan unit, but took care of the house and cleaned up after themselves. Really impressive considering the age of the previous system and working in an unfinished attic.2 - They had a couple suprises/challenges, but identified them early on in the process, discussed them with me, and had everything wrapped up as promised.3 - The crew took the time to answer all my questions about system operation before leaving and made sure I had all the information I needed to file for the tax credits (AHRI certificate, serial numbers, etc).Lastly, the folks at the Maynor office handled the Duke rebate for me as well as scheduling the post-install inspection. Couldnt be easier.

    We were referred to Maynor by Duke Energy. They installed our HVAC system two years ago and were professional, courteous and affordable. When the AC recently went out, the technician could not have been more thorough, helpful and responsive.

    I was fortunate enough to have my ac unit go out in the middle of the summer. Actually I have 2 units and the one upstairs was the one I thought was going to die first. To my surprise the downstairs unit was the first to go. From the minute I met Dustin, the sales Rep for Maynor, I had a good feeling about him. He presented several options and allowed me to choose but in the end the higher seered unit provided a lesser price due to the rebates. THANK YOU DUSTIN!. Now lets speak about the actual HVAC contractors. STACEY and SETH. They were punctual, knowlegeable, courteous and spent the time to describe what was wrong with the old unit. They were very good at cleaning up after themselves and left the garage looking great. I would highly recommend this company I have been very pleased.

    Had a great experience with the company. They told me what they would do and did what they told, no surprises. Drew was great to work with, very easy to reach for any questions or concerns, and delivered on-time what he promised. For the technician Jeff the work was clearly something he had lots of times before. Knew exactly what needs to be done and was able to execute very well. Very happy with the service!

    It was time to replace my ancient HVAC and I got numerous quotes for the same Trane brand and unit. Maynor was significantly less expensive than the other quotes. I signed on Wednesday and they installed on the following Tuesday. The salesperson, Tommy, was very experienced and knowledgeable. He was very low pressure and very patient with my questions.I had read reviews which stated their crews were very good and that is certainly true. Jeff and Devan were extremely professional and pleasant. They arrived on time, were very through and I think my floors are cleaner now than when they arrived.Another little extra perk was the customer folder they left me. It contains their yearly service information and info on my system. Its always a pain to find the info when you need it and its nice to have somewhere to store the invoice if you need it further down the road.
