Tom and his crew did an amazing job with our new windows! He answered all our questions regarding window specs and made us feel confident in our purchase. Tom and his crew arrived early on project day and cleaned up after themselves. Overall, it was a great, smooth experience! I highly recommend Tom and will definitely use him in the future. He seems to really care about his clients and is honest about what works best for each persons project. 10/10!

Tom was referred to me which is always a good sign! He (and his whole family) worked SO hard to get everything done right, exactly how I wanted, walk me through all work, and offer guidance and suggestions when needed. Also, having an interior designer as a wife took a lot of stressful decisions and time consuming chores off my hands. As a first time homebuyer and renovator, going through this process was very overwhelming. I had no idea who to hire or trust so I’m glad I found him when I did and I would highly recommend.

Tommy at Big Star Construction did an absolutely incredible job completely gutting and redoing an absolute mess of a room we had that was an addition to our house 20+ years ago. The precision and quality of his work was beyond what we expected possible. Extremely trustworthy and honest, great communication throughout the process, on time, good pricing, and above all, exceptional work. We had a terrific experience and could not be more impressed with the work he and his team were able to provide. I would highly recommend Big Star Construction and Tommy to anyone looking for upgrades, expansions, and any other fixes to their house.

Wonderful experience with our house extension. This project seemed to have one issue after another with the house and Tom addressed each item head on and went beyond to make sure it was fixed to a high quality and that we were satisfied. This was the best experience in working with a contractor that I have had and I look forward to working with him in the future.

Tom did an absolute fabulous and professional job repairing our drywall and retiling our fireplace. The tile we chose was a difficult design and our fireplace was not level and aligned incorrectly. Tom added necessary materials to correct the issue and cut/placed the tile beautifully!! He went above and beyond, paying attention to every detail. The cost was also very fair. We will definitely use Big Star Construction again!!

Working with Tom and Crystal has been a breeze! We had a list of projects (fireplace makeover, feature walls, study room built-in, fan installation etc.) and I’m so grateful to have found such a trustworthy, high-quality company to work with. Very happy with everything that turns out. They did everything they said they would do (and more!) with such tight timeframe I set. And he always cleaned up after himself as if it were his own home. Will definitely use again for my other projects around the house!

We obtained several (5) estimates for a complete bathroom remodel. Tom gave us a comparable estimate.Once we informed Tom that we would like to use his services, he was able to start within 2 days.Due to the age of our home, we encountered a few plumbing issues along the way. These were handled without too many problems. Additionally, we made a few off the cuff changes. Tom didn’t seem to be put out by our changes and willingly worked with us. There were a few tile areas we just didn’t like and again Tom made these changes without any issues.Tom is hardworking and professional but above all he is honest.We will be using Tom again for our next bath remodel, installing a front door and building a gazebo on our back patio.We unreservedly recommend Tom for any construction projects. You will be totally happy with the results.

After the two recent freezes we started noticing leaks from our bathrooms, so we contacted Big Star for repair and remodel. As there are bound to be issues that arise during the any home project, Tom communicates these issues well and he worked with us to educate and address each issue. It was a pleasure to work with Tom because he is a man of integrity and stands by the work he does. He is very thorough with every detail and would do things as if it were for his own home. We are extremely pleased with the outcome of the bathroom, the quality of the materials, and the service that he provided.

Tom is the best at everything he does! He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, and truly cares about doing things right. He installed vinyl plank floors and new baseboards throughout my entire house, going to great pains to make sure everything was level and straight. He also painted my kitchen cabinets and replaced the glass fronts in the uppers. It was a huge challenge because of the heavily grained wood but he did a top-notch job! He loves to make his clients smile when they see the finished product. He is a great guy all around, with integity throughout. I cannot recommend him highly enough, and I have more projects for him to tackle soon!

Big star has done multiple projects in our home, remodeled our hall bath,.installed new floors, re-tiled a fireplace, installed new front and back doors. Installed new counter top and sink faucets in another bath.Installed new lighting fixtures,Installed new cabinet doors and repainted our kitchen cabinets, made a hood to vent the microwave.Got rid of our ugly popcorn ceilings, and made the ceilings look like new .Every job that Tom has done for us has been excellent. We had extensive water damage to the fascia and support beams of our house as well as a rotted chimney. Tom personally repaired each of these issues in an expert and professional manner. He was very attentive to other issues he noted and repaired those as well after bringing them to our attention. He kept us advised of progress and took and forwarded photos of damage so we could see the issues he found. We are extremely pleased with the workmanship, communication, and assistance.We would definitely use his services again with other needs as they arise.

Big Star Construction did an amazing job on our master bath remodel! We couldnt have asked for a better contractor. Tom was honest, meticulous, and took pride in his work. His patience with all of our questions along the way was appreciated. Crystal was the perfect addition to the team when it came to design choices. Sometimes you know what you want, but cant quite find your vision and Crystal was just what was needed. I highly recommend Big Star Construction and absolutely love my master bath.

Tom was our contractor for finishing my 1000sq foot basement and he also remodeled our kitchen. He is a wonderful contractor and a good human. I was impressed with his unwillingness to cut corners but he did not inflate the cost we were quoted by much and it was always discussed with us. I never felt like I was being hustled (which let’s be real...it can be a nightmare). He was kind, smart, contentious, and responsive...

I was looking for a local construction company when I found the Big Start Construction, now I earned a a friend and good neighbor.
