Outstanding service and communication! Call Carter for all your plumbing and gas needs! He replaced the wax ring and completely reworked both toilets, checked my water heater and water pressure. Carter even left a curb side key (and picked one up for me to have on hand) and showed me how to turn the water main off because he had an already scheduled pressing job to do first. Carter was very professional with both his work and his time. He said he would show up at a certain time and he arrived at that time ready to work. Once started he found the leak, replaced the damaged section of pipe and also helped with another issue relating to a drain line that he noticed.Carter also took the time to educate me on some best practices, recommending some preventative maintenance and some useful items to own to minimize any future damage. Had the line heading into my house burst a year ago and Carter came out to fix it. Just a week or so back I noticed water in the same place. Carter came right back out, dug the hole, and found the faulty part. He fixed the problem at no charge under warranty. A stain appeared on my ceiling that was caused by a leaking drain. Icalled CJs Plumbing because of all the good reviews and Im happy to say the reviews are true. He answered the phone and scheduled the service as soon as possible.Carter investigated all over the house until he found the source of the leak. He was determined to find the root of the problem and was patient as he searched. He was professional, upfront and honest, and helpful in that he not only fixed the problem, but also provided me with the name of a drywall person that could make repairs to the ceiling.I could tell he didnt just care about the job, but also about helping people which isnt always the case in some businesses.I appreciate his integrity and will definitely use his services in the future if I need them. Carter was excellent to work with! He was right on time and quickly diagnosed my main issue. He openly admitted there *might be a 2nd issue, but there would be a different need than he could provide (e.g tile work), so he prepared me for that possible next step. Good news - as of 1 month later I have ZERO evidence of any water and Carters plumbing work saved the day - and I havent forked over any $$$ for extra tile/construction work!!!From a value perspective, I dont have any comparable dollars. That said, he was very transparent how he charged and provided a clear bill. I did not at all feel like he took advantage of the job based upon the work he performed and time he spent. He was quite thorough, and seemingly very honest and transparent in his diagnosis and solution, and quite knowledgeable of his trade!!!On top of his work, he was friendly and courteous. He came over and not only inspected the water heater, but thoroughly check the pressure through out my home. He took the time to explain exactly what was going on. Mr. Johnson went above and beyond what I had expected. He came to my home to fix a major problem and was very thorough in diagnosing and discussing my options. This is the second time weve called Carter about a plumbing problem. The first time he came to fix a water pressure problem. He was very professional and did an excellent job. The second time we called him to fix a clog that was about 35 ft down in our kitchen drain. He was able to clear the clog and made sure it was perfect before he left. I highly recommend him. He has fair prices and does the job quickly and professionally. I will definitely call him again if we have any plumbing problems or needs.

Woke up yesterday morning to discover a leak was coming water heater which damaged my bathroom ceiling. Water reclamation service (DryTech) got us in touch with Carter. He got on the phone and told us what we could do prior to him coming out to mitigate any more damage. He got to house around 330 and had everything he needed to replace and/or fix the problem. After asking for his professional opinion, we decided to go ahead and replace the water heater. Keep in mind, it’s now 430ish on a Friday afternoon. He said he would rather go ahead and start the job as opposed to waiting until Monday. In his words, “I don’t want to leave you with a ticking time bomb.” The entire job took about four hours to complete. Carter didn’t leave the house until 9 or so when it was all said and done.I don’t know of many companies that would have done what Carter did. He is professional, courteous, clean, and more importantly, trustworthy. I have ZERO issues in using CJ Plumbing and Gas again or referring them to friends and family.
