    Erik from Smart Water Solutions is very professional, he listen to my needs, answer my questions and gave me a good deal for the system which it comes with a lifetime warranty. I choose the water softener and the whole house carbon filtration system. Now I understand why others like this combination, the water tastes incredible good and it feels a lot more soft on your skin. I like also the way you can control the system from your phone, itā€™s very convenience and it gives you all the data in real time. I didnā€™t have a loop so I gave the kudos to the installer who create one outside my garage and underground, this allows me to save space in my garage and to protect my water lines from any potential damage.I Really recommend them for your whole house water system, believe me, you wonā€™t be disappointed.

    Erik Groenendijk (owner) and Gavin are absolutely the best! When we built our new home, the plumbers handled the pipe installation but lacked expertise in water treatment. Erik and Gavin stepped in to install our reverse osmosis system, which effectively removes contaminants like lead, pesticides, PFAs, and more.We also purchase hydrogen peroxide for our water system from them. While we could buy it online, their pricing is competitive, and the service they provide is unmatched. With every delivery, they inspect and calibrate our equipment and test the water as needed. Their professionalism and attention to detail have earned our trustā€”we wouldnā€™t use anyone else for our water treatment needs!

    We had a culligan that ended up going bad. After a horrible sales pitch and speaking a whole lot of water language we didnt understand, we decided to venture out to other water softener companies. I can not be any happier and I am so glad we found smarter water solutions! The water taste and feels so much better than our previous softer system.     Erik proposed a reasonable solution to take care of our hard, iron loaded water. Its been working great for a year and a half. We had an issue just recently where the controller/valve just completely started acting strange and let salt in the house. He came out the same day we called twice and ended up replacing the whole controller under warranty without charging us at all. I appreciate him both getting us going in the first place and standing behind his products in the long run.

    Eric went above and beyond for me, its so rare in this day and age to get exceptional customer service but that is exactly what I received from this company. My RO water tastes clean and chemical free, this is such a blessing since I have a well and with my health problems I needed to have drinkable water. The price was so reasonable compared to other more well known companies who tell you that there are cheaper alternatives out there but they wont be up to their standards, but honestly I believe they surpassed them. Thank you so much for this very basic need being fulfilled and helping me to stop using single use plastic bottles because I also want to help the environment in my own little way!!!

    We can not give higher praises to Erik and his team at Smarter Water Solutions. Since moving to Lutz and having well water with all kinds of different systems (we knew nothing about) we kept fumbling our way through one bad mistake after another, then Smarter Water Solutions swooped in and saved the day. Erik was so informative after over a year (almost 2) of living in our home we now understand what products we have and what they do.We had other local, big name, companies (one that we have a home contract with that has since been cancelled) come out and give us estimates. All these other companies did, zero education/information, zero water testing, and the estimates were all double to price gouging compared to Smarter Water Solutions. On the day of install the Smarter Water Solution team was early, which has never happened to us before. They called to let us know they were little early, and was that alright, they explained the plan for the day, let us know when they were turning the water off, (in case we needed it quick for anything), they were courteous, knowledgeable, and did EVERYTHING they said they would for the exact price they quoted. Which is what we all would like for every business we deal with to do - do what you said you would do and be kind and courteous too (aka customer service).Like I said at the beginning - we can not give enough praise to Smarter Water Solutions.     Apologies to Erik for this delayed google review submission. Our system was installed by Smarter Water Solutions back in 2019. FOUR years later I can confidently confirm that our water quality is still pristine with ZERO PPM on water strip tests done randomly over the years.We moved to Carrollwood in 2019. I started noticing my water bottle accumulating mineral deposits on the rim and floating debris at the bottle of the reservoir. That freaked me out.I googled residential water filtration and most results seemed to consist of big name corporate franchises that had strong sales pitches for their systems.Eriks company seemed to be one of the few that sounded too good to be true: a small business focused on custom solutions for water filtration.Erik came by for a consult and explained that he is a water filtration geek at heart. He is truly PASSIONATE about water quality. He was astonished at just how poor the quality of water is in Carrollwood.Our home was a bit complicated because of where the water supply is located. Erik was able to creatively come up with a solution best for my particular situation. My only request for the system was low maintenance. Apart from having to top off with water softener salt every few months it truly is LOW in maintenance.Of note, the customer service provided by Erik is exceptional. You can be 100% assured that he wants your water system to work. This is NOT just a quick install followed by a ghosting-youre-on-your-own-now type experience.Real life example: Our townhome had an exterior painting done for the entire complex. Unbeknownst to us they accidentally disconnected an electrical connection for the water filtration system. When my water bottle started showing the mineral deposits again I called Erik. He called and stopped by within 24 hours convinced that it wasnt the system, that something was off. He found the disconnected cable right away and since then we have been problem free.If you want a truly customized system for your home water quality with customer support bar none, I highly recommend Smarter Water Solutions. Erik is a true water guru and will standby his systems 100%.

After installation, we had ongoing problems with our water not being fully softened, and they went out of their way to help trouble shoot this. Turned out being a plumbing problem from the original build that the builder had to sort out. But Erik and his team did everything they could to take care of us. This is the kind of company that specializes, so they know their area of work, and they care.

    In the past I had serviced the water softener through 3 other technicians and everyone of them took money and never fixed the problem. All of them appeared to be in a hurry to fix the problem, but no one took the quality time to seriously understand the customers needs. The fix they was applied was no good after 2 weeks and they would charge again for followup visits or fixes.Finally, I got in touch with Erik at Smarter Water Solutions to take care of this nagging problem. He was very kind enough to send me links to YouTube videos to get the issue resolved by myself. But I need some pipe fixes as well and the backwash to be moved away from the foundation where the water softener was placed. Erik committed to a date and time and was in constant touch throughout the work. After couple of days when the small pipe between salt tank and the water softener broke due to high pressure, Erik returned back to apply a more sturdy pipe connection to take care of that issue as well. Now everything appears normal and I have finally started getting soft water at home after almost a year without it. I have been regularly monitoring the water softener unit since then per feedback from Erik and it appears to be working excellent to my expectations. He provided excellent details for the product and fixed the issue after spending more than 3 hours to it. He was kind enough to throw in a freebie to clean up my AC drain pipe which was clogged and provided an alternate option to clean it up myself in future.The quality of work, professionalism, punctuality for time proposed, and making the customer comfortable with the situation by building trust are some of the main reasons I would recommend Erik for anyone to get their water softener systems fixed.

    Highly recommend Smarter Water Solutions! Erik is the expert we needed to help decide between a water softener and a robust water filtration system. We decided to go with the water filtration and are very satisfied with the results. Installation was quick and done professionally. Results were instant! Water tastes great and soap rinses off nicely in the shower leaving skin and hair smoother and easier to comb out. The filtration unit looks very high tech and takes up a very small footprint in the garage.     New drinking water Reverse Osmosis and whole house Water Softener. Water Test Results 1 month later: Pre Water Softener is 15 = HARD In Softener, after Water Softener 0 = SOFT. Major difference. After a shower my hair used to be rough, hard and hard to brush out. Hairs on my legs and arms actually broke off. After installation my hair is soft and after 2 weeks my hair on my arms and legs are growing back. And due to the under sink 10 Stage Reverse Osmosis system my separate sink drinking water Faucet and refrigerator water tast great and the ice cubes are clear and now I save a lot of money not buying and carrying heavy cases of drinking waterat the store to my car and from ny car into my home. And the owner Erik is the best! Very Professional, knowledgeable, helpful and answerd all my concerns and questions.

I am pretty inexperienced with water softening and filtering, however he took time to explain it to me and I did not feel like he was trying to push anything unnecessary on me. He gave me some troubleshooting tips over the phone and answered every question I had. Gavin then came to my home for onsite troubleshooting and with pre-approval for rebedding my system. He completed the work honestly and diligently. They continued to work with me over the next few weeks to adjust my settings so my system is working perfectly. I thought I may have needed a new unit, but they revived my old one with the benefits of chlorine filtration. (Only your refrigerator will filter chlorine in many homes)

Installation went very well and was quick and professional. Its now been about a year and a half since my system has been installed and my water has never been nicer! Im certainly glad I decided to not repair my old chlorine system. Given that my water does not have bacteria in it, I did not want to continue to pump chlorine into my water because with my old system I could still taste it. The worst thing that happens with the hydrogen peroxide system is the water gets a little extra bubbly! I would certainly recommend using smarter water solutions, this is coming from somebody who is lived on a well for the past 20 plus years and chose to go with Eric over my neighbor who is in water treatment and wanted to push fixing or replacing the chlorine system. I was very skeptical about hydrogen peroxide at first but theres a lot of research to back up how good of a water treatment system it is and Im certainly glad that I went with a hydrogen peroxide system over anything else!

    No one has paid me to write on this site but I am a regular blogger on sites, good, bad, & ugly and this review is one of my good. Iā€™ve lived in my home over 20 years in land o lakes, Iā€™ve always hated my water and have told my husband in numerous occasions we need to do something about our water. Weā€™ve had the well redug, twice just to get to good water. That still didnā€™t work. Finally after all these years we heard from a neighbor about what he was getting so i researched smarter water solutions. Even though Iā€™m very skeptical we made an appointment and the owner Eric reassured me I would be happy.     Great customer service and very knowledgable about water treatment. I had the system installed to replace a salt based water softener. The water tastes like bottled water that was bottled from a mountain spring. Removes the scaling and even filters the water for less costs than a water softener.
