Mike is top notch. He remodeled our TV nook to go from a small TV to a much larger one. His work is very high quality and he was very efficient with his time. Hi everyone! I wanted to come on here and leave a review for Mike with Construction Guru. I had some Finish Carpentry that needed done, and I called Mike. He was able to come over the next day and also helped me with some ideas on how to get what I wanted done. He was on time, worked straight through until it was done and did a beautiful job that exceeded my expectations! The price was very reasonable as well. Mike was great! I was very impressed by his ingenuity when he fixed the eaves of my house. They look beautiful. When he found a shoddy window along the way he fixed and re-caulked that, too, as well as other windows that had been poorly installed (by a different company). Very attentive to detail and communicative. I will definitely contact him again for future work.

Mike was wonderful! From the beginning his communication was fantastic, he was very professional, and he did a great job transforming our house! He installed cabinet hardware throughout our entire house as well as multiple curtain rods. Everything is flawless and immediately made our house feel like a home. Mike was very good and honest. When he found a problem with the flooring I had purchased he explained what I needed to do in a timely manner so as to not charge me for extra time. He did an excellent job once I got the new flooring. We love the new floor and the install was done excellently. I will call him again if I need anything else done in my home. I would suggest him to anyone that needs a handyman.

I just had some small projects and Mike get all of them done nicely. One of them was to install a narrow French door using the bio-fold closet door. Definitely not the easiest door to install and he customized it to fit and close properly. We communicated and came up solutions on the day. Mike is patient and provided many good ideas. Mike Moen, aka Construction Guru, is a real lifesaver and a true professional. He responded to our request quickly, arrived on time and completed the work within the time frame he estimated, despite running into manufacturing quality issues with the furniture he assembled for us. While on site, he also replaced our smoke detectors. We had planned on doing this work ourselves but ran into difficulties, so ours was a last-minute job, yet Mike handled everything with ease. We will use his services again and highly recommend him.

Mike was referred by a neighbor here in northern Colorado (Ault) and has done a tremendous job with our kitchen remodel. He did what we wanted whereas the big store workers told us how it would be done. Mike textured walls, installed kitchen cabinets, installed dishwasher, flooring, trimming, etc. Mike is conscientious, punctual, neat and tidy, detailed, and friendly. These days it can be so hard to find a friendly, professional, thorough, conscientious, reliable and trusted contractor. Each of these attributes is a rare find in any contractor, but in the case of Mike Moen, Construction Guru, he has them all.Our home suffered extensive water damage from a broken pipe that saturated our upstairs and finished basement. Walls had to be removed, soffits replaced, drywall (texturing), baseboards, insulation and painting restored. Mike completed the work in half the time other contractors estimated. He worked closely with my wife and I to accommodate our schedules. He also arrived and finished the job as he committed.A five star rating falls short of how impressed we were with Mike, Construction Guru, including his business and trade proficiency.

Mike was a real lifesaver! Some of the framework under our sliding glass door had significant water damage. We found out last minute that the wood/siding guys from our painting company were unable to do these repairs, and we were about to lose our painting appointment that was booked out for a month or so. I called Mike late in the afternoon and he came by about an hour later and completed our project that evening! He was professional, courteous, and did a great job! We highly recommend him!
