We did a color change on our main level. Peterson Painting did a wonderful job. There are no drips, paint lines or bleeding. They did an excellent job in ensuring we had a great experience. I will definitely use them when we ready to paint the upper level of our home.

5 star, A+We made the right choice hiring Peterson Painting to paint our home. It was looking a little tired and needed some repairs to the siding.Cary Peterson told us about the company and went over their history and procedures.Kyle and Matthew were assigned to our project. They worked very hard on our project. They are both skilled and thorough. The first couple of days were spent power washing and making repairs, including replacing several siding boards that had damage. Then came the prep work. Everything that was not to be painted was either covered or removed.The painting is flawless. Their attention to detail is impressive.We are very happy with the results. The house looks new. Peterson Painting is the best, well worth the cost.

Peterson did a great job prepping and painting the trim, stucco, doors and porches on our 95-year old Beaverdale Brick home in October 2024. Brandon, Kyle, and Sam were wonderful to work with and professionally handled all aspects of the 2 1/2 week job. They showed up early each day, carefully protected our plants and outdoor furniture, and neatly packed up all their equipment each day. We love the final results!

This is a top notch company to work with. They have a very professional staff, from the owner, Cary, who contacted me to discuss our needs and the company’s history and integrity, to Brandon, who met us at our house to go over options and especially Kyle and Adam who worked on our house.Brandon reached out to us when he noticed our siding was a little flat and gave us the option to see the difference between a flat and a satin finish. Glad we were able to see and switch because it made a world of a difference.We installed new siding and needed our brick and foundation painted. Kyle and Sam were amazing, respectful of our property and made sure every inch was taken care of and finished when they said they would.We look forward to doing any future businesses with them.

We had the exterior of our house painted and some minor carpentry work done. Peterson Painting was lovely to deal with and they did a great job. Our team of Kyle and Matt were awesome professionals and we couldnt be happier with the result. The original color we picked looked great in a swatch and great in a small area, but not right once it was on a larger part of the house. They worked with us to correct that and the end result is fantastic. Id recommend Peterson Painting anytime for exterior painting for sure!

We had our dining room and master bathroom painted by Kyle, Ben and Lloyd last week and couldn’t be more pleased. We had had water damage to our dining room ceiling and wall (photos 1 & 2) that they fixed and now you can’t even tell now where the damage was (photo on right). Also, we had taken the wallpaper off in the bathroom a while ago and left a big mess (a lot of the plaster ended up needing to be repaired), which Kyle and his crew expertly fixed and painted. The whole crew was thorough, extremely friendly, helpful and very professional. We even got some tips on how to keep our skylight in the bathroom from having the paint peel again.We were extremely happy with our Peterson Painting experience and will hire them again when the need arises. We highly recommend them and the crew we had.

We chose Peterson for their reputation to provide a professional, quality paint job and we are very happy with the result. They were responsive to our needs during the painting process. Their team took care to prep the surfaces with appropriate power-washing away the dirt and previous paint failure, caulking where needed, masking gutters, roof and other critical areas, but they also cleaned up our yard and area after they were completed. Our outside walls now look better than the day our home was built and originally painted and we have confidence the results will be good for 15+ years!

I had my, once beautiful, solid oak entry door with sidelight, for over 40 years! Over the years, season changes and unrelenting sun exposure, it has begun to show its age. I initially toyed with the idea of replacing it, but found that option to be totally beyond my financial means. My next thought was to have it refurbished with hopes to have it returned to its original and very beautiful natural oak state, but that was also very pricey, and the professionals also said that they while they would do their best to bring it back to “new” they could not, and understandably so, guarantee the end result. It was then that I decided that I still could not part with my beloved door and so, with some initial reluctance due to the thought of painting over what was once a beautiful oak surface, I called Peterson Painting, and I am truly glad I did!Within days, Stacey, Peterson’s Paint Color Consultant, a gracious and talented young woman, came to my home to help me select the exact and perfect color that would enhance the curb appeal as well as the interior of my home. David W., the Crew Leader assigned to my project, was very professional, kind, thoughtful and exceptionally accommodating. Had to have some interior painting. I’ve used Peterson Painting years ago on some work at my parents home. Brandon came out to meet me and bid the job. He went over all of my questions and concerns. A date was scheduled and Kyle arrived at 8:15 sharp and began the work. A few hours later, he called for me to come down to the kitchen. I was amazed. The painting was complete. Kyle had removed all of the draping and taping. The furniture was moved back in place and all of the painting equipment was outside ready to be put back in his truck. You would have never known most of the first floor had just been painted. When it’s time to have any interior painting done again, I’ll be requesting Kyle. He did have to stop back for a minor issue. Again, he called ahead and arrived exactly on time. He resolved the issue and I’m thrilled with the results. Kyle loves what he does and is proud of the company he works for. You just don’t find that anymore. Peterson Painting did such a great job.

Peterson Painting was the second-highest bid of my four bids. However, I needed to paint a historical 97-year old Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Des Moines, on Grand Avenue. I couldnt afford mistakes. The gentlemen who painted my house were courteous and professional. They offered suggestions, which was imperative to a woman painting a historical property in four different colors on the exterior. Bottom line- you get what you pay for, and you cannot do better than Peterson Painting, if you have a historical exterior paint job!

And then the work began.It was obvious these guys have worked together for quite awhile. Such teamwork. You could tell they like working we each other and love what they do. And each day they were here, they made sure everything was cleaned up and put away before they left.Each step along the way theyd ask what we thought of the new colors, which were a major departure from what he had. As they started with one of the trim colors, we decided it just wasnt right and asked if it would be a major problem to change it. Without hesitation, Kyle said it wouldnt be and that they just wanted us to be happy. He grabbed a book of paint chips, we all decided on a new color and he went out and bought some. He came back and painted a little of the trim for us to look at. So much better. At the end of the day, the painting was all done. He asked that we come out to take look a look. I think youll be real happy, Kyle said. We think it looks great. Weve painted lots of houses and this is one of our favorites.We were spellbound. The house is absolutely dazzling. We couldnt thank them enough.And then they cleaned up, packed up and left without a hint they had even been here, other than this fabulous paint job. But thats no hint. Its a very bold statement. Magic was made here!It looks so good! Its beautiful. It looks like we have a brand new house. For the first couple of days, cars would drive past slowly staring at it.
