    10 STARS all the way! We were thrilled with the exceptional service we received from Total Air when our AC had a problem. Despite it being a Saturday, they promptly sent out technician Harold who was friendly, knowledgeable, and fixed our AC efficiently. He took the time to explain the issue without any pressure to upsell. Total Air even sent a text introducing Harold and providing an ETA. After our AC was back up and running, they followed up with a call. Their top-notch customer service has earned them a glowing recommendation from us to all our friends and family.

    I discovered my A/C unit had a leak and I called Total Air. The person I spoke with was very attentive to my need for a quick repair and was able to schedule me the same day. When the technician, Louie, came out to see me he was very respectful and upon hearing I had dogs he got to work quickly to help reduce their stress. He looked at the unit and found my problem and worked very quick to resolve it. He laid out my options for the unit and the pros and cons of the job at hand. Overall I was very pleased with the work and felt the price was in line with what they had performed. I would definitely recommend Total Air to any friends or neighbors for future A/C work they may need.

    From the moment we reached out to Total air last Saturday evening we have had nothing but top-notch service. It started with Tammy at the dispatch office who contacted Harold the technician. He came out within an our and assessed the the problem. He was very thorough and explaining the problem and took pictures to show what the issue was. He recommended a new system. He then at 10:30 on a Saturday night contacted Brandon the Comfort advisor who came out Saturday night to talk to us about the cost of a new system. Our install was scheduled originally for Monday but we had a hurricane and no power to Monday or Tuesday. The install team was here first thing this morning. Gavin,Jose and Jose were here first thing this morning. In less than 6 hours we had an entire new heating cooling system. They cleaned up every bit of debris and left nothing behind. I would highly recommend this company to anybody in need of heating air conditioning services

    I recently used Total Air when my upstairs a/c quit. The diagnosing technician showed up promptly at the designated time. Installation was done two days later and those technicians again showed up on time on a Saturday morning. The new system was installed correctly with no problem. In addition, the techs were pleasant to work with and made sure to clean up all mess and debris. I will only use Total Air in the future.

    Excellent service and fairly priced. Our technician Swade McKight explained everything we needed to do as far as routine maintenance and did a fantastic job installing our float switch and ball valve. He also cleared out our clogged drains with precision. Highly recommend this company.

    This company was responsive and professional. We have them come over right after the lockdown for Covid in March or April 2020. They came without reservation,they were socially distancing, but they did their job professionally and we couldnā€™t be more happy. One small glitch came up at the end of the installation which caused The system to not respond and of course they had already left for the day. However we were able to call, someone answered, and they were back in 30 minutes. It was the luck of a bad fuse, perhaps a $.20 fuse but they came back to our rescue, fixed a stupid fuse, cleaned up and left.We will use them again and we do recommend them to other people in our area.

    Quick turn around time for scheduling maintenance. Our tech Louie was very knowledgeable, quick and professional. The service cost was better than a few other companies I had contacted. We signed up for the monthly plumbing and HVAC membership plan for only about $25 a month. Itā€™s nice to know if there are ever any problems with our plumbing or AC that a tech will come and the cost will already be covered by the monthly membership.

    Total air quickly responded to my request for an appointment, even offering for call, text or email to discuss; which is nice since my phone signal at work is poor. They sent me a photo and information about who the technician would be. The technician called before coming for notification. The tech was Louie and he was great. Very nice, personable, explained whatd hed be doing and answered my questions.

    2024 Update - Louie has been our technician twice this year (spring and fall maintenance) Again we are very satisfied with his attitude, competence and friendliness. Doesnā€™t seem to matter who we get, Total Air seems to hire excellent people.2023 Update - Had another great experience for a spring maintenance with Robert. Thorough, friendly and knowledgeable about the various systems we have. Completed full maintenance one four systems in about 3 hours. Highly satisfied with Total AirOriginal Review - I called Total Air a couple of years ago when our AC went down. Other companies couldnā€™t come same day, despite their 24/7 advertisements, but Total Air came same day and fixed it. AC repair isnā€™t cheap, but Iā€™ve always felt that their pricing was fair, especially since they are very responsive!We had another company install our systems about 8 years earlier but the business owner moved shortly afterwards and to be honest, we hadnā€™t contacted anyone else done for routine maintenance (except we changed filters) for about 7 years.Total Airā€™s technicians are excellent. They are respectful our our house and family members and explain each aspect of the work they propose with itemized cost estimates. Most times all the work is covered by the flat maintenance contract fee. They also provide thorough recommendations for optimal system performance but donā€™t pressure you to do work youā€™re not interested in.Cutter did the first repair and is so positive and upbeat, and knows his stuff. More recently, Carlos has come to our house several times and he is very polite and methodical and actually reads up on our high efficiency Trane heat pump systems before he comes so he knows what issues to look for.Also, communication is great. Nicole is very good at fitting us in the schedule and calling back and confirming arrival times and they have a good text-based automatic system that alerts you when the technician is coming and even sends you a picture so you know the right person is doing the work. Very reassuring that the whole process is managed well.In summary, we have been using Total Air for about 5 years now. Our systems are all 12 years old now, and weā€™ve had no total breakdowns with heat or AC. They come twice a year for routine maintenance for a flat fee. We havenā€™t had a single bad experience in all that time.

    Very pleased with Total Air service from the beginning to end. Louie initially showed up to diagnose the issues with the aged HVAC system and made recommendations to replace.     We called big and small companies to get a quote for our AC problem, our AC is just 7 yrs old. Shaun Wisemore from Total Air was the one that was able to give us a reasonable quote for our evaporator coil replacement, Shaun gave us an honest recommendation. The next day, installation team came, Gavin and Jose replaced the evaporator coil and fix the problem. They were very professional and respectful. We had our AC working after 4 days of no central air, surviving only from our temporary window AC unit. We also signed up for the yearly membership program that same day. Our AC stopped working after 9 days but when we called Total Air nearly 5 pm, Tammy sent a technician and Robert was at our house a little bit after 6pm. He diagnosed the problem which a cover at the attic popped open that has a kill switch for safety that is why our AC stopped, he also recommended the change of our capacitor of the outside unit, Robert explained very well and he is very thorough with his evaluation. He charged us reasonable price and gave us members discount. Total Air is really 24/7, and they treat you like family. Now we are just waiting for the quality check that they recommend after installation of our evaporator coil. Thanks again to Shaun, Gavin, Jose, Robert, and Tammy.

    Great service from Louie at Total Air. He was very helpful and answered all the questions I had. Unit is on the way out, but he wasnā€™t shoving a new one down my throat.     Call Total Air!! We had our upstairs unit go out on Saturday and we called Total Air and they sent Joe out. Joe was very professional and super nice even though it was so hot outside and the weekend, he always had a smile and a great attitude. He kept us informed through out the whole appointment and let us know that our compressor went out. Of course that would happen on a weekend when their supply houses were closed. Monday morning I got my quote from Nichole and was put on the schedule. Robert came out to replace the compressor and provided excellent service, he was super nice and very professional and got us back up and running.     IMPRESSIVE! Robert and Luke were the technicians that took care of our HVAC drain issue. From my initial call to completion, service and workmanship were superior! the receptionist was able to book me a same day appointment with an arrival time of 2 -5 pm. I received a text with the name and background of my technicians in advance once they were on their way and they arrived right at 2pm! They were both very professional and cordial and one of the things I liked best is that they did a great job of explaining the process and their findings, complete with photos.     I first started using Total Air when I had a new thermostat installed and a maintenance check done. I liked the company first of all because they answered the phone and you didnt have to talk to an automated service. I was impressed and purchased a service contract. Carlos Martinez has been the service tech on my system. He is thorough, answers all my questions. He is on time, courteous. Overall, I am very pleased with Carlos and Total Air.

    We experienced a power blip this evening which caused our ac unit to shut down. We tried to contact a few companies for emergency service which led us to Total Air Service. We spoke with Tammy and she suggested that we reset our unit breaker. Tammy walked us through how to reset and low and behold it worked! Tammy was more interested in assisting us versus just having a Tech come out. We will not hesitate to call Total Air Service for our future HVAC needs!

    Upon reading all the good reviews I decided to try Total Air Service which is conveniently available in the Conroe area and they arrived within an hour. They sent Tom with 15 plus years of AC experience and he was very professional and fixed my AC unit problem within an hour.     From the start I used this company for the first time as I am not familiar with the businesses in the area. We made the appointment time and we were running late and when we sent them a note saying we would be late they said no problem and worked with us on a another time that was only 1 hr later than our previous appointment. Edgar, showed up when he said he would and performed the inspection as we asked him to do. When he found a problem he called me to the attic and showed me what he found. After the inspection he reviewed the findings with my wife and myself. He talked about the up front pricing and the cost. Oh and did I mention he showed up dressed very professionally dressed, long sleeves in 90+ Houston heat, very well dressed and extremely professional. He explained the issues he found with our unit. Which would have amounted to about $500.00. Just as soon as he told us this he said I can do these repairs, However you might be back in the same spot in a week or a few days. This was due to the age of the unit (19 yrs old and duck work that was in extreme disarray). I am saying this because he could have taken us for a $500.00 ride but did not due to his professionalism. We asked him about the options of replacement and showed us the prices. He said I am not going to show you the two higer end machines due to the age of the house you cannot take advantage of the options and you would be wasting your money. The next day two more very respectful and hard working young guys showed up (owners sons) and started taking the old compressor and attic unit out so that we would not be with out A/C over memorial day weekend. The following day a crew of (4) showed up at 7:30 and worked until 6:00 pm. They were not going to leave until the unit was up and running for the weekend, this is the Friday of a three day weekend. The owner then showed up and he also helped with the clean up and final touches on the install. Do I mention they showed up with doughnuts and kolachocies for breakfast at 7:30 for the kids. This review does not due justice for the the amount of effort that was out into installing our new A/C system. Mr. Carter your prior military service shows in your company you have established, your employees professionalism, and their attention to detail. Not only was it a pleasure to see them work but their respect was top notch. This is not only the service techs but from the front office as well. In summary I WILL NEVER use any other A/C service company, you have my business for life. Also, the Amana quality of equipment is fantastic. Job well done by all.

    We have been using Total Air for over 3 years now regularly for our HVAC system/preventative maintenance. We take part in their club membership to get the best bang for our buck. Every single employee and tech we have ever come into contact with over the years has been nothing short of professional and so personable and down to earth! Every time they come for maintenance visit, I feel like its family coming by, they are that kind and remember things we have discussed before. Their prices are beyond reasonable and they dont try to shove any extras down your throat. Darin was just at our place and he was so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He explained things to me and is definitely welcome back! I truly appreciate the honesty and kindness each visit!

    Total Air has an organized and comprehensive system to perform preventive maintenance on your HVAC system. Carlos executed it with precision. He explained every step of what he did at the end of the visit in a way that I can understand. He is just a gem! They responded to my online appointment request, a process that is frequently ignored by companies that claim to have them. Office support is outstanding. Communication is outstanding. I am so pleased I found this company.Update: Semi-annual maintenance. Louie took care of my system check this time. Very professional and efficient. They hire the best techs at Total Air!

    We had an excellent experience with Total Air and install team led by Shaun Wisemore. They installed a brand new ac system in our home and were very professional and knowledgeable. They truly care about their customers. I highly recommend this company for all of your ac needs.

    This is the second time weā€™ve had Robert Taylor come to repair/clean our AC. The first time was in the middle of the night because our AC wasnā€™t workingā€¦ And it was hot! He was able to get it up and running again within an hour!At that appointment he let me know that we would need our coil cleaned in the near future.Fast forward to a couple days ago, I called and scheduled an appointment to have our AC coil cleaned. Robert Taylor and another tech came out today and inspected the unit, then thoroughly explained everything that needed to be done, as well as how much it would cost. I appreciate that they take before and after pictures for reference.Since weā€™ve been satisfied both times that weā€™ve had Robert with total air come out, we decided to sign up for their maintenance program.

    We have used this company for a year or two now for our spring and fall AC check-ups. Luke is always professional and personable. He always answers all my questions as well as giving suggested options for cleaning out equipment for better efficiency. We will continue our contract for maintenance check ups.Now about those optional services for extra cleaning....... I dont fault the technician for the prices because he doesnt set the prices. When you want to charge $107.00 to insulate one line (so that the rain/sun doesnt cause corrosion) with a $3 stick of pipe insulation (or a $1 pool noodle) that my 3 year old granddaughter could apply in less than 5 minutes, I think the price should be much, much lower. (I think my granddaughter may have a way to start saving extra for collage ;-) .).Thank you Luke for being the professional that you are! I look forward to your suggestions in 6 months.
