    We noticed our toilet was leaking late last night. I filled out the online request for a next-day appointment, and Professor Gatsby’s called me immediately this morning to schedule an appointment. Our plumber, David H., was prompt, thorough, honest, and extremely skilled. He was personable and explained everything he was going to do to fix the problem, including the different options we had. Additionally, he took extra care to made sure not to track snow and mud in our house on a messy weather day. In the end, we paid a fair price for beautiful work. We would recommend Professor Gatsby’s to anyone in the area looking for plumbing service. Moreover, we would like to commend David H. for a wonderful job!

    John was awesome, he was very mindful to not track snow into my home. John was thorough , fast, and make sure the system works as it should before you laugh. John also left a no pressure recommendation for the air purifier system since I do have season allergies. Will definitely continue to use this company for all my HVAC needs.

    My heater broke on a holiday weekend. John M. came within the hour. He called to tell me when he was leaving and his ETA. Great communication. He was knowledgeable on the heating system but more importantly compassionate to my situation. I have 2 big dogs which he assured me would not bother him as that was a real stressor for me. The part was not available until Monday but I was kept up to date and notified promptly as promised. The repair was quick and clean up, as if he was never there. John was friendly and easy to talk to, always asking if I had any questions. I would highly recommend this company to family & friends. .

    I have to say my experience with Professor Gatsby and my technician Sean was absolutely amazing and his trainee Patrick they were very customer oriented.     Professor Gatsby is always professional and always so helpful!! We needed a new air conditioner, and Gatsby’s went above and beyond starting with a complete diagnostics before making any recommendations. The technicians were very knowledgeable, and identified problems that have existed within our system for years that no other company had bothered to alert us to or address. So when we switched to heat and our system was not keeping the temperature, we immediately called Professor Gatsby’s and we were once again glad we did!!! The technician did a complete service on our heater and identified the problem, and we were surprised that the bill was very reasonable. The tech was here 3-4 hours and only charged us 385.00 for the part and repair.

    First time using them. Had a water heater installed same day that I called for an estimate. The plumber they sent out, Sal, was polite, down to earth, and seemed very knowledgeable about what he was doing. After he provided the estimate I asked how soon they could do the job. He said he could do it now. Once I accepted, he left to get the heater then came back and worked until around 9:00pm to install it. When the job was done, his work looked like it was done by a professional. I’m not a plumber but his work looked very neat, not messy. If/when I have plumbing or HVAC work in the future, I’ll definitely call Gatsby. Hopefully the rest of their employees have the same high skill level and professionalism as Sal does.

    We had a plumbing issue on a Saturday evening. The website was easy to navigate, setup an appointment and locate service discounts. Sal was here the next morning within the time frame specified. He was courteous, professional and timely with the repairs. The cost was fair for the job that needed to be done and the time in which it took to schedule then complete.

    Highly recommend!! The Professor Gatsby team is the best. Everyone is very knowledgeable and honest. Charles gave us all our options and did not try and sell us a plan we did not need or could afford. All the pictures posted was installed in 1 day! Brian, Kevin, Ryan and Kyle did an awesome job on a very hot day in July. There was also a team who worked on the insulation in an extremely hot attic (I forget their names. Sorry!) Matt checked in at the end of the day to check on the work. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. We did the complete energy efficient over haul. We feel the difference! Looking forward to lowering those energy bills!!

There were two little things the next day that needed to be adjusted but nothing major. The company sent a tech out the same day I called and fixed the issue.     Prof Gatsby replaced my HVAC system 3 years ago. When I had a plumbing issue, I decided to use them again based on all the excellent service we got over the years. Had 2 garden spickets replaced and 1 added. The Tech David was polite, clean and explained what needed to be done.     They installed a new HVAC system when my AC died during the heat wave in june. I had to wait 10 days to get the job done but they did let me borrow 2 portable AC units. The team that installed it was very professional and so nice. However, they offered me financing through Greenleap. The most horrible experience Ive ever had with a loan company. They kept leaving me voicemails that they needed to talk to me about my loan. When I called them back theyd say my loan was fine and would start telemarketing me and trying to sell me more loans. It was infuriating. Then after I made 2 payments on my loan I noticed all my money was going to interest and none of my payments were going towards the principal. I called them to fix it and they said I accrued almost 600 dollars in interest over a 2 month period between the time I was approved for the loan in july and my first payment in September. And the contract said I had to pay that before any money went to the principal. Thats freaking insane! Whatever you do dont use their loan company. They are taking advantage of people. I did complain to professor gatsby. I hope they get a new financing company. But i reccomend getting your own financing from your bank so u dont get ripped off like me.

    The AC quit on a Friday evening when it was 90 degrees. I called Professor Gatsbys and they sent out someone the next day. Joe, the tech, was very friendly and knowledgeable and delivered the unfortunate news that I needed a new AC unit. The main office called me and went over options for a new install. That evening, they dropped off portable AC units as a temporary solution and after discussing price, we scheduled the install about a week out. That was the only thing I was disappointed with was the time frame to install the AC unit but I understand Im not the only person needing AC in the summer when its hot. The install went well and the crew was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I would definitely recommend this company to others!

    We’ve used Professor Gatsby’s for service since we moved into our house. When I called them about our AC not working (Bad Blower Motor + Frozen Lines) they sent someone out that day to inspect and troubleshoot. The technician and salesman Steve was very helpful and down to earth, he inspected our system and gave us various options for replacement. Steve dropped us off a temporary window unit after we agreed on one of their high efficiency options to use until the completed installation and hold onto for a few days after (just in case).The installer’s of our new HVAC system were extremely personable and professional, from the lead’s to the new guys being trained. The tech’s all arrived at 7:30am and got right to setup. They spent 2 days here due to the size of the project and difficulty of July heat. Nothing was performed without asking permission or clarifying the work. The tech’s laid down drop cloths from the front door to the crawl access and were very mindful of our house. The lead tech Chris brought to my attention that we had a plumbing leak starting and provided photos for me. Chris walked me through the installation before, during, and after work being performed and made everything easy to understand. These guys put in tough, long hours during a hot week to get us back up and running again and we are grateful to have chosen Professor Gatsby’s. Without a doubt I’d recommend them for your HVAC and Plumbing needs, I know I’ll be using them again!

Steve was great through-out including multiple communications over the weekend between our first proposal on Friday and installation on Tuesday.Through-out the process Steve provided excellent customer service, including support for changes to include Air Conditioner replacement in addition to the Furnace.Chris F and his team did an excellent job for the installation. Chris and 1 team member arrived promptly at 7:30 as scheduled and performed preliminary activities. They were seamlessly joined by 2 other team members. The installation was efficiently performed with division of labor and completed within a single day.Chris F and the full installation team, were responsive to any questions we had and in a couple of cases really went beyond what I would have expected such as slightly trimming a bush near the outside AC Unit.Professor Gatsbys was highly recommended by a friend.     Before we contacted Professor Gatsby’s, we read the reviews on their website & after our experience with this company, the reviews were right on point. We started this process with Charles, the estimator. He called first & arrived on the exact time he had given us.     We had just moved in on Dec. 20, 2020 and knew we were going to replace our whole HVAC unit including the hot water heater. We called Prof. Gatsby’s for an estimate. They were punctual and thoroughly explained everything. The best decision we ever made was to use Prof. Gatsby’s. Their crew came 7:40 am and proceeded to cover our floors and take out the old and put in the new. There were a couple of kinks cause of the way our house is set up but they took it in stride and persevered, all the while with smiles, no less! We would highly recommend Prof. Gatsby’s to everyone. The crew was amicable, knowledgeable, clean and very professional. We were very impressed with the high quality of work they performed. The crew was here all day and went above and beyond to finish the job.     I really wish I could give more than 5 stars. My heat stopped over Christmas weekend and they came and got my heat working again. But recommended it was time for a new unit. And we knew it was time. We went with the Professor because of the emphasis on customer service. From start to finish, everyone was so nice and professional and really made sure everything was top notch. I even got a lesson on how everything works and how I should maintain everything. They also went above and beyond by doing things outside of the job description such as fixing my dryer, giving my animals attention and being so nice with my kids.     Called them as a last resort for major commercial heating install. Matthew came to the business quickly and had an estimate to me within hours. Fast forward less than two weeks later, the commercial heating install is complete. I had an 8 to 10 week wait from other companies.     We had a central A/C unit, furnace and hot water tank installed. The salesman Brandon was very knowledgeable about the company and its services which was why I decided to work with this company. The company sent out a crew of about 20 workers and all work was completed in one day. They were very professional and left all areas that they worked in very clean. I had the units installed almost a year ago and the company stays in contact with me. Today one of the technicians Dom came to the house to preform maintenance on the units to make sure everything is running correctly.     Somehow my HVAC unit was pumping out heat in the summer making my home feel like a sauna. A quick call to Professor Gatsby, and they had someone out the very next day!! The tech was on time, professional and explained the entire process as he repaired the system.About 40 minutes later the system was fixed and cool air started to blast through the vents.     Professor Gatsby’s was one of four contractors I called when replacing my heater and air conditioner. Matt’s presentation was clearly the best. He explained the options and his recommendations, but more importantly, I got a sense from him that he and his team would install the equipment just as they would want it done in their own homes. I did a fair amount of research on Heater/AC replacements, and I found that many consider the quality of the installation to be as or more important to reliability than the equipment being installed. Matt, Kevin and Brian did not disappoint - they were very respectful of my home and did a beautiful job! They were very professional, and worked without even a lunch break, from 8am to 9pm, to make sure that we wouldn’t be left without heat. They will definitely get all of my future related business, and I’ll be recommending them to friends without reservation.

    I went through three different air conditioning systems and about five contractor proposals. I chose Professor Gatsby because of their warranty which was unmatched by any other contractor. They also assured me that their materials and equipment are top of the line. When they did come to my home the first day of the job and unloaded everything I could see that it really was high-end material. The team arrived as scheduled and went to work immediately they worked hard all day a crew of five to seven depending on supplemental crew that would come occasionally. Supplemental deliveries came as needed. I set up a lunch place for them in the yard but they never used it, they just worked all day.The team was led by Matt and Charles with sales and planning and then the on-site team led by Kevin and Kyle did the component install and the manufacturing and installation of all the ductwork and vents. They were great crew and they worked really well together. Basically the basement became a factory for 2 days I had no idea this type of work was so labor intensive. When I saw what was involved I was so glad I had chosen such a highly recommended company. Im usually someone that goes with the bottom line but in this case Im glad I went with the best quality because that costdifference will pay for itself over time.The plan and the installation was exactly what was needed this is a 60 year old Cape cod home so they were retrofitting this system into an existing basement with a radiator system in place so they had to work around all that and other structures in the basement and they did a beautiful job and it is not obtrusive at all.Thank you Professor Gatsby for allowing me to be your customer. I look to many more positive encounters in the future.👍Ill try to be sure I have chocolate chip cookies on hand shall we meet again. 🍪

    I had a contract with another company. It wasn’t honored. I had my air conditioner stop completely and was waiting weeks for a repair. I finally called Professor Gatsby and they came right over. Dom had my air working in a day. He was kind, considerate, and explained the situation in terms I could understand. My air stopped again, but then came on. I called the office and Kelsey said she would send someone out right away. I requested Dom again.She said, no problem. I not only got Dom, but also the expertise of Ryan. They concluded that it was the thermostat which had corroded batteries and malfunctioning. They replaced it immediately and all is good. I want to thank Ryan and Dom for solving the issue and for being so kind. I would definitely recommend Professor Gatsby!

    My AC broke right before my home was to go on the market. I called and before I knew it, Chelsea had scheduled a visit to my home for a diagnostic. Well, the motor was bad and cost just as much as a new ac unit. The tech, I believe DOM, discussed financing options for a new ac and a new HVAC install.     I truly dont even know where to begin but I will start by saying that if I could give Professor Gatsbys 10 stars I definitely would. I needed a new heater and AC 2 gentlemen came out at first to check things out (I truly apologize that I forget their names) and showed me on a camera what was wrong with my heater. They were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Then Matt (the owner) came over, climbed under my house and scoped out the entire job in the freezing cold. He sat down with me, talked to me and explained everything to me and how much it would cost. It was definitely a fair price and he made me feel so comfortable that I immediately trusted him and his company. Before I knew it i had 2 of the best installers at my door ready to get the job done. Kevin and Kyle are by far 2 outstanding installers who definitely know what they are doing. They were at my door at 7:30 a.m. and didnt leave until 7:40 p.m. It was freezing cold and very windy that day and it didnt matter to them they stayed outside and did what they had to do. When they were finished the job you would have never known that they were there, my house was spotless. Kevin and Kyle lightened up the mood the entire day, by the end of the day I felt as if I made 2 new friends. Trust me when I say that this review is coming from someone who is very leery of contractors probably because I have had bad experiences with them but Professor Gatsbys is the exception to this rule. Please do yourselves a favor, if you are ever in need of HVAC work, make Professor Gatsbys your first call I promise you he will not let you down. With all of this being said I just want to thank Matt, Kevin, Kyle and the 2 techs who came out and made me feel so at ease.
