    They did a great job at running new outlets at my business. They worked with our hours of operation since we are open to the public so we didnt have to close for the day. They were professional and did a great job of cleaning up when they were done. They also went the xtra mile by moving equipment and putting it back as if it was never moved. Called 2 other electricians and they never even showed up to give us a quote. So the fact that they were so punctual every step of the way is a big bonus. I cannot recommend them enough.

    Casey the owner runs a great company! Ive had the pleasure of working with him and his team with our new build in Pinckney. From dealing with his field manager and his crew, even his wife coordinating work while he was off briefly has been fantastic all the way through the process. You will not find a company ran better than this one, the work is the best quality, the workers are all very polite and professional.We also found out that the additional light fixtures we have no need for they will repurpose on mission trips to give back to people in need!

    Lakes Electric was the electrician for our new build. They coordinated well with the builder and worked with me for add-ons. Communications were professional and courteous. Workers were knowledgable and helpful. When there were a couple of minor glitches, they were quick to fix and handled everything very well. I would definitely use Lakes Electric for any future electrical work.

    Whole house generator, an additional 100 amp panel and a 220V outlet for a future EV in the garage were all installed in one day! Workers were polite, were good communicators, asked us about preferences for location of each unit , broom cleaned, and remarkably walked and talked the project at completion to assure our satisfaction. Gas piping was completed by a first class installer as well. On top of all of that; the office kept us up to date on installation from the first estimate thru completion. I would recommend this company for any electrical projects.

    This is the second time Ive used Lakes Electric for some residential repairs and installs. I had 9 outlets replaced, 3 light fixtures replaced and a wall outlet that was not powered. Paul came out on time and ensured everything that I wanted done was on his list so he did not miss anything. He kept me advised as to the status of the repairs and installs.Very professional and excellent work!!I would recommend Lakes Electric to anyone needing electrical work done.

    The folks at Lakes Electric were timely and responsive. I needed an electrical panel fixed for a client to get their house to closing. I called a number of electricians in the area, Lakes Electric was one of the first to respond and the only company that was able to get in to give a quick quote. While everyone else told me that itd take them a month to get there, Casey Meyer and his guys got in there within a week to take care of it. Thanks for fitting us in and taking care of the job!

    I’m seriously impressed with Lakes Electric. I appreciate it when companies are up front with costs and follow through on what they say they’ll do (schedule, etc). We didn’t have a big project, but they came out, quoted and completed the job in about a month (which is amazing given how in-demand the trades are right now). The people are also very professional and super nice! I called the company based on multiple referrals and now hoping this referral will help someone else!     Lakes Electric did all the electrical work on my new build home. Their crew was fantastic from the start of the rough work through the end of the finish work.I had some specific preferences for switches / plugs / fixtures... The crew took the time to meet with me and carefully noted down all the things I requested, and they executed it perfectly. They were very knowledgeable and talked me through options if they had better suggestions.They were all professional and courteous, they maintained a very orderly work site, and put extra effort into cleaning up each day. As I walked down their work, you could tell that they put a lot of thought into routing wiring in the best way and using best practices, something that I appreciated a great deal after seeing the alternative with other trades.All in all, Lakes Electric did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them! Very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional crew!

    Extremely satisfied with Lakes Electric. They require two appointments, one to estimate and one to do the work. Estimator and electrician were both on time, professional, and very thorough, explaining exactly how they would perform the work. Their office communicates with reminders and approximate time of arrival.All work is done to code, all areas are cleaned up and everything works perfectly. Highly recommend the professionals at Lakes Electric!

    Casey and the crew at Lakes Electric did fantastic work for us! They lit up my Lady Lair and installed 8-foot LED lights in the garage for incredible lighting. Do not hesitate to call them for great quality work, at an honest price. One example of the great customer service we had was an LED light went out in the basement, and Casey thought that there may have been a defect in the LED. He came out and swapped the new can LED free of charge! Thanks!

    Casey and his crew installed a generator at my home in Highland, MI. Casey provided for very flexible communication - email and text. He was timely in response to my correspondence, and worked with me when the gas line took an unexpected amount of time to coordinate (1 month after installation of the generator.) The work was neat and the generator works great. Im very happy with the service provided by Lakes Electric.

    4 out of 5 as nothing is 100% perfect. Lakes came out and did a phenomenal job with a full panel upgrade and running some LB outdoors to provide power from a sub panel to another part of the house. James and Jake did the work and were professional, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. Office staff as well were all very prompt with responses and never left me hanging. I was referred by a friend who had the same experience. Would definitely call again on Lakes Electric.Update 12/2024--called on Lakes Electric to do a standby generator, transfer switch, and integrating a sub panel to the main panel. Again, they did excellent work and I would call on them again for any future project!

    Lakes Installed my 22kw whole home generator on 8/23/22. Suffered our 1st outage since install and power restored flawlessly.     The two-man team who did the work at my house = excellent! I am giving the company 4 stars instead of 5 because I was not informed from the beginning that in order to pay by credit card, Id have to pay an extra fee. Most service companies Ive dealt with in the past take credit cards for payment without charging the extra fee. Would have been nice to know this up front.

    Great team of guys. It started with Casey himself giving me a couple of things to try to save a service call. When those methods didnt work, scheduling was quick.When the guys arrived (on time), they worked quickly and efficiently to resolve the issue, and finished with about 15 minutes to spare for the hour service call. Rather than immediately packing up, they inquired if there was anything that could be finished in the 15 remaining minutes. There was, but due to other issues, it couldnt be worked on....but I appreciated the effort.When everything was done, they did something Ive never seen anyone do before...they came back with a broom and dustpan and swept the entryway!Thanks for the great job, and all of your above-and-beyond efforts. Ill definitely be calling again!
